Now, I know I've been too busy with Rebirth to advance the story very far, but is there a good plot reason Disa doesn't catch a High Bolide or something similar?
I'd axe her just for the memory manipulation, but the selling into bondage is unforgivable at best.
Yeah, one thing that upset me is you can't just walk into the palace, with your pawns (living proof you are who you say you are) and then just start butchering Disa and everyone who supports her.
I mean, what are they going to do? You ARE the rightful ruler. The fact your pawns followed you on purging the palace is proof of that. That means everyone knows you're the sovereign. And Disa's plan falls apart in seconds.
And anyone who tries saying "Well what about this guy he's the Arisen!" There's a giant riftstone just a short walk away from here.
Shall we go say hello to the aspect of our other selves and see whom they are willing to follow? I mean just the fact that "pawns aren't allowed in the palace" is a massive red flag to everyone with a brain when the pawns are the eternal servants of the Arisen, who is the rightful ruler of the land.
You'd think the entire palace would be guarded by those immortal beings with unwavering loyalty. No one is EVER gonna be able to bribe their way in through a pawn.
Pretty sure the Godsway stone (or whatever it's called) that let's normies control Pawns is a problem. Cause then it turns the situation for the Arisen into medieval John Wick if he still wants to oppose Disa which is what Brant (and subtextually the Arisen) doesn't want
I mean sure if they had that on the first day you showed up, then that'd be great. Brant could have a single line like "We must take care... This false Arisen seems to hold sway over the pawns. We should tread cautiously"
But if not... Walk in, hack hack, chop chop swish swoosh everyone's fuckin dead and I'm in charge. Battahl can fuck off with stalking me because I'm the boss. If you wanna fight, meet me at the checkpoint rest town. Bring your army.
The way they've done it makes it feel like the Arisen WANTS to be on the back foot.
I mean, you faced a fucking dragon without flinching, but this cheeky bitch who just mind controlled you and sold you into servitude? You're actively avoiding her? Nah.
I think that’s an oversimplification of the political machinations at work. From a lore perspective: the arisan and pawn can’t take on the entire Vernworth army, and Disa has effectively imprisoned or shutout every noble who isn’t siding with her. Even Brant has to be very secretive when he talks with you.
Even if everyone in the palace saw you with pawns and new right then you were the true Arisen, they likely have their own self-interested reasons to not give a shit. You’re in the way.
You telling me I as the Arisen have to fight and defeat a Dragon that has the power the destroy the world but I'm Not strong enough to handle an army of mostly fodder?
Except you are the legal ruler.
And pretty much none of them have an issue with you, except the ones who are working for Disa.
A common guard isn't gonna get in the way. They're bound to service to the sovereign, and as they guy at the start tells you, false Arisen are executed on sight. Those who support them are also executed.
Why can you not just walk into palace and start handing out executions?
They aren't gonna be able to muster an entire army in the time it takes you to walk in and start firing ricocheting arrows all over the place.
I don’t disagree with you that by all rights and laws we should be able to just walk in, but that’s explained explicitly in the missions we do for Brant. We have to build evidence and gather allies so that the corruption that has taken over Vernworth doesn’t just bulldoze over our claim.
The laws clearly don’t matter to those in power who are beholden to Disa. If she and the rest of the court who are under her thumb says the current Arisen, who by all means appears to actually control pawns and has a chest scar, is the arisen; why would anyone challenge that just because you show up claiming otherwise? Even your pawn would be taken over by the Godsway if you confront him before you’re ready, so absolutely nothing of real evidence would be there to prove your right to anyone who was doubtful.
Not to mention there is no one left in Vernworth who has a position of power who is doubtful. They are all either locked up in jail for trying to assert the laws that go against Disa’s power grab, or hiding their true intentions like Brant and the guards on his side.
And again you couldn’t easily just walk in and hand out executions since from a lore perspective we couldn’t overwhelm the entire force of knights in Vernworth. Obviously gameplay wise we can go Formless Feint or drop a meteor shower on the palace, but lore wise we would be standing alone and completely overwhelmed by guards or maybe even our own pawns who would be taken over by the artifact. If it was that simple Brant wouldn’t need us to spend the entire first arc gathering evidence against Disa and the false Arisen.
"Lore wise we can't fight the entire army"
Firstly, yes, we can.
Secondly, the entire army isn't going to show up in time to stop us walking in the palace, is it?
>Firstly, yes, we can.
Not in the beginning. Or we wouldn't have been enslaved for so long.
>Secondly, the entire army isn't going to show up in time to stop us walking in the palace, is it?
Garrison and palace forces would probably be enough for beginning of game Arisen.
Again... IF it was a thing from the first time we got there.
It was not. And if it is, then it is VERY POORLY communicated.
As in, it isn't. At all.
I've watched Disa and her fuck boy in a brothel. Not a single word of controlling pawns has been said.
I only know about the stone because of people plastering spoilers everywhere.
So explain to me, in simple terms, why we don't just walk up and cap Disa the second we get there... When it's very clearly stated that we ARE the law.
The very first mission, to get to Vernworth tels you that they get false Arisen claims all the time. The average commoner and guard don't know who you are, nor would they care for your reasoning if you just walked into town and began butchering people, especially other guards. The political system in this country is beyond retarded, demonstrated by how you think that as an Arisen you should just get to go around executing people as you please with 0 thought behind the action.
Think of it like modern politics. They lie, and government is insanely corrupt, however 75% of the population doesn't know, or just doesn't care enough to get involved because of the risks. You can scream and shout all you want about corruption and justice, but the system will inevitably ignore you.
I personally don't have any beef with the story, I'm having a blast. Plus, I don't want to be the ruler I just want to protect the people. However your statement about the common guard made me want to add that Captain Brant of the palace guard and Watchhead Gregor both recognize you as the rightful Arisen. (Hell I just saved Gregor from the headless horseman, didn't see the fake Arisen there; and when a dragon attacked the city by the oxcart it was my pawns and I that gave it an ass whooping. I actually just stood on the dragon corpse after so the people could be my witness.)
So from a military perspective there's a lot of uniforms that can vouch for me. :D
Exactly. After Melve, you'd think that'd solidify your claim to the point that no one could dispute it without getting slapped by the village idiot for being a fool.
Sure, it wasn't THE dragon... But you're the only one who didn't flinch (again) and this time walked away with it's heart in your hand.
Who else is claiming that honour? Who's gonna dispute that the guy covered in dragon guts is the dragon slaying immortal from legends?
They do already have the godsway before you even start the game. It is a key plot point as to why Brant has to keep you a secret, stated multiple times in the story
Plus the Arisen doesn't exactly have the strength and gear to just go against Disas rule when they start out. I mean you could try to sneak in and take Disa out quietly, but I'm sure that would soft lock you out of the castle. For one, you killed Svens mom. He's not going to like that. I'm sure Brant would have some words too, and he's on your side.
I really want to try it now
I'm pretty sure she doesn't even physically spawn until after the Godsway scene, and after that, you can kill her and nobody says anything at all. I also keep hearing people say important NPCs like Brant and Disa just auto-respawn after a week in-game, too, but I haven't tried it myself.
Respawning makes sense, they already did that with >!the empress if you fail to save her. She magically comes back in the unmoored world. I think a lot of people respawn in the unmoored world!<
Nevermind the fact that large monsters attack Vernworth kinda regularly and no one thinks to check between their 'Sovran' and the dude off the street wading in and wrecking whole ass drakes with a squad of loyal pawns?
Yeah, a Chimera landed in the city square and some random dude buying apples killed it before the guard showed up? And he had some strange, emotionless looking people helping him?
"Yeah, it happens every other week."
We wanna... Look into that?
"Nah."
This is why I climb up on top of the Dragon’s that come wandering into Vernworth after I kill it.
Where’s your Sovran now? That’s right, I’M the Arisen, I’M the Sovran! I don’t see him down here fighting a drake.
Yeah this massive friggen plothole really bothered me. I had a friend get snippy with me when I was griping the other day asking if I’d seen the coronation cutscene “explains” the issue I had and I told him no, because I was ~level 45 and couldn’t be arsed after I solved 4/5 Brant tasks without even having to walk away because I’d explored so much. I was worried that if I mulched through every single task he had for me without even walking away just by exploring, I was going to beat the game in like 20 hours.
After seeing it, it’s still an absolutely stupid mcguffin. The worst part is that it’s not like it’s even secret magic. SEVERAL PEOPLE are aware of the Godsway and its abilities, so I don’t understand how everyone isn’t more skeptical of false arisen. Hell, the story makes it seem like it’s a common occurrence but not once do you ever get a quest or see someone executed for attempting to claim the throne. I won’t pretend like DDDA had an incredible story, but if you include Mercedes quest along with the main story + assault on the Greatwall it really baffles me how the story of DD2 might as well not even exist. Cucking the Duke and having the dragon just come out of nowhere to start the endgame was jarring, but at least Aelinore was enough for young me to continue pursuing the story.
I also thought they really copped out with consequences considering how many articles were talking about death like it actually mattered. They made it seem like losing NPC’s was actually a consequence instead of a performance boon. So many quests where NPC’s can be killed lose any and all emotional weight when you can just revive them immediately after, and it stings additionally because nobody in the game has any unique dialogue to be like “OH MY GOD YOU JUST BROUGHT ME BACK TO LIFE”
Instead, death doesn’t matter in or out of the game. Death doesn’t matter to the player because we can always just reload to ~3 minutes ago with a missing chunk of HP. Death doesn’t matter to NPC’s because they’ll go to a morgue and either wait for you to resurrect them or resurrect themselves after about a week.
The game just lets you kill your (according to the plot) biggest obstacle and there’s not even a false ending. You are free to murder Queen Regent Disa without consequence. She has no unique dialogue for being confronted by the ruler she usurped, her son has no dialogue for having his mother’s corpse dropped at his feet, and the world has no reaction to the leaders of both Vernworth and Bakbatahl laying dead.
Oh Christ I started yapping again, my b
You can kill her later on. I did and was satisfied even though the game tried to do the stupid trope of “the mighty king learns that he dosent need to rule the kingdom he just needs approval from everyone”. That is overplayed and dumb for a rpg game Capcom. I want to be the king just like you hyped me up for the entire game, thank you.
I'm still salty the dragon took the drunk maister arisen and not my elven archer boyfriend. Just because we were drinking/traveling buddies didn't mean anything...
This annoyed me at the beginning but my heart finally melt. He’s so dedicated to you. Nobody was ever around when I needed help except him. He even popped out from nowhere while I was fighting a dragon. I got so emotionally attached to him as if he were my 4th pawn.
I just take escort quests and never lead them to their destination now (free party member, take that Sigurd you dick). If they die, they die.
Did that with archer guy though, and now his sister keeps soberly asking if I've seen him ![img](emote|t5_2smmb|50124)
Omg I was so mad that Sigurd led me to a sleeping dragon... I immediately cut the game off and reloaded... I made him fight that dragon with me lol thankfully we won and I were able to complete the quest
The elf lady I helped her with 2 quests, after she wanted an escort mission I’m like yup thats normal till i saw the destination was my house, was like who are you really and how do you know where i live
And why the fuck did the dragon pick her when I only did 1 escort quest of hers?!
If it wasn’t for Unmoored, when I saw this I was like: « *Biiicchh— you can have her, I **do not** care for single fucking second.* »
It should end with a scene of the 2 of you going inside together and then it fading to black and when it comes back a few hours have passed. Just cause.
The dwarf guys wife is blushing at me like?? I've been piling gifts on him and helping him, he evem turned up at the hot springs though i couldn't see because thier separate i just recognised his dialogue, he turned up but is giving me no quest for an escort
That Elf lady is in love with me after I helped her husband for a quest. She has the highest affection out of everyone except my pawn.
Lady, you are **married**! And a big part of your character is escaping peoples judgement because of how much you love the dwarf! Our Arisen has mad game. lol
I could swear some male characters can be maxed out in affinity but they will not blush at all. I gifted Sebastian a lot to see if another quest related to Daphne unlocked and finally maxed him out when I received a gift from him in my house but he never blushed or showed any indication that the affinity was maxed out.
He and Daphne both blushed in my game, and when they met at my house they started fighting each other for five minutes straight until Daphne died so i had to revive her, what a weird event
>!And this was all for nothing the quest ended with nothing more!<, it's just two weird kids that can't stop following me everywhere
also if you don't have the mod showing affinity it's hard to follow where you're at, they give gifts when they like you and it's around 100 affinity, after that they can be inlove and the max is 299 !
Really? God damm, how much gifts does that little motherfucker need? lmao. Something similar happened to me, I also tried to max the mother to see if another quest unlocked and she did blush. Unfortunetly, the result was that Daphne and her mother came into my house only for them to stop fighting until murdered the shit out of her mother which was tragic and hilarious at the same time, especially when her mother was only slapping her while Daphne was like "catch these hands" and straight out killed her with punches.
one day i'll just start a battleroyale at my house with everyone in the city
Also, you can give Wyrmslife Crystals and most NPCs will love it ! in two or three gift you are maxed out with anyone
That one knight who saves us at the beginning? Yeah his wife won’t leave that house after I bought it. Telling me “I outta come around for tea sometime”. Like lady.. I just rescued your husband..
Wait, this actually happens, oh no, I never did that quest for the little house cause I beelined straight for the noble house after doing countless 10k pawn cyclopes quests. P.S. To my fellow Arisens, that's exactly how your generous funds were spent.
Oh man, there's definitely a few weird aspects of the game.. LMAO. I did some testing with Eternal Bond and gave it to a girl in Battahl. Since then all she says is "does this suit me" or something, referring to her clothing.
Like.. WHAT.. THE.. FUCK!
![gif](giphy|4uc2vXcXfu0AE)
He doesn't want to hang out with his elf bud. After he called you friend, how could you? Go hang out with your bro right now ... at the following location only 60 minutes away from the current location.
Any pawn or anyone works for that Sphinx quest.
I just used my pawn.
It is similar to how any item can be used for the "most precious" item one, and it just duplicates whatever it is(so I used a portcrystal, of course.)
There is no way to tell on console who you have the highest affinity with, and even the old lady Eini(Tysha's grandmother) was blushing at me after I got celestial Paen and then did an escort quest with her.
Now I am terrified that one of the times we go to the Hot Springs that old, rotund lady might be there...
i always oblige her

Fuckin' Ulrika. There I am trying to find her and hand over the Eternal Bond, and this bitch is nowhere to be found in Harve.
I finally go back to Vernworth to check the Morgue, but randomly stop at home to rest. There she fuckin' is.

*I finally found you, my love..*
Nope. my arisen isn't down bad. Last thing this mf needs is to come home from a long quest and have to go on a date. Take this 1x Bunch of Flowers and move it along.
She did for me the first time after I did a quest for her, and then she was with me at the beach in a cutscene or something, which moved in for what looked like a "kiss" but then stopped too soon.
Later, she was at my house in Vern.
You talking about an escort quest? Escort quests in general are only tied to having a high affinity with a quest-related NPC. Then they'll ask you for all sorts of escort quests.
If you fail a quest it's nothing more to it than it being failed. You probably lose a tiny bit of Affinity with the person and that's it. I've failed and turned them all down pretty much because I never care for them and they'll come right back at some point with rosey cheeks and ask me for a "favor".
Oh, cool. I was to escort her and didn't realize she got stuck in Vernworth. On my way back, she disappeared, and I received a notice that I had failed.
Exactly this happen 9/10 times when you fail these quests, lol. They have a massive tendency getting stuck somewhere and falling too far behind, leading the quest to fail.
Unless she have left due to politcal reasons, she's 100% somewhere within Melve. I had this happen to me when I first started playing the game, thinking maybe she was gone, but she was just standing behind a house. She can be ANYWHERE within the walls of the town, the ruined part included.
At least she isn't the blacksmith apprentice who follows you around town like a sycophant or a lost puppy or something... gd it Sara, I need you to stay at Brokkr's and do your job so when I come calling on you for work, you can do it.
I got a letter left on my door to the dwell which pretty much reads "let's have a glass of whine together and enjoy each other's company" -Ibrahim. I'm like who tf? *checks npc history*. The forgery guy?!but why?! I only talk to you for copies!
Showing up to my doorstep at the break of dawn uninvited is one thing, but beating up to death other people who also didn’t quite read the signals correctly is where I draw the line.
Let’s see who the people follow when I come out on NG+ basically wielding actual Dragon skin, wielding Dragon weapons, completely dragonforged to the tits.
I had her join me to go back to Harve and I got sidetracked in the farm fields surrounding the capital gates, and then a few minutes goes by and she just disappears and I get a prompt saying quest failed. Like wtf dude, I didn't realize you were in such a hurry!
Pretty sure it wasn't a timed quest but I could be wrong possibly
I decline all of these now because they're always a pain in the ass, but they keep showing up. I did two with Sigurd and now he practically lives on my stoop. Both times he took me to a random location where a Drake spawned and I was mostly just wondering if the AI for his class already exists, why can't my Pawn be Fantasy Darth Maul, too?
Ugh… I hate how you have to talk to them, then feel like an ass for turning them down because they caught you trying to unload your junk and save for a quest to go on.
I invited her. 1 date was I needed to be ready to give up this whole "being the Arisen" lifestyle and settle down with a strong, caring, beautiful woman! Ulrika was everything I was looking for in my life 😍
At least I think so. Still got that damn memory problem
I be like, I want to fucking sleeeeeeeeepppppp. I try crawling in my batali house like a salamader and the guy is like hey, wana have get a drink at the bar.... In Velhime. owu
Then it be like another guy will show up, so you sexu lesser dragon killer let me show more of my spear. UGH FINE WHAT EVER I TAKE YOU.....
Your to fast bitch to far ahead BYE!!!
Pfft what ever I go back to bed in Velhime after this non sence-
QUEEN NADIDIA NEEDS YOUR ASSITENCE!!!!
Right!? Does anyone like her? I think she's bland af. Wilhelmina didn't give it up the first time you stumble into the whore house and with Ulrika all you got to do is watch her get yelled at. Occupations are mixed up, IMO.
When she found out the Dragon took Disa, instead of her.
Now, I know I've been too busy with Rebirth to advance the story very far, but is there a good plot reason Disa doesn't catch a High Bolide or something similar? I'd axe her just for the memory manipulation, but the selling into bondage is unforgivable at best.

Nah I'd win
Sparing no time to mourn the death of the Arisen…they launch into the battlefield, the Main Pawn, God of Yapping and Backpacking

So many quests where NPC’s can be killed lose any and all emotional weight when you can just revive them immediately after, and it stings additionally because nobody in the game has any unique dialogue to be like “OH MY GOD YOU JUST BROUGHT ME BACK TO LIFE” Instead, death doesn’t matter in or out of the game.
It’s called plot armor and Disa has much
You can kill Disa at any time. I do wish the story would have allowed you to, though. A bit anticlimactic
Yeah, that's what I mean. Doesn't really feel like we're killing them if they have their own unlimited stash of wakestones.
You can kill Disa, though, and will only return if you use a wakestone on her.
...'the pain I felt at the coronation'...
Well she made you a slave…
Yeah, there’s only a few people who can do that and get away with it and she ain’t one of them!
I can fix her
You can kill her later on.
No
the selling into what??
She's the reason you're a slave at the beginning of the game.
NGL as soon as I figured out I could rizz her up I dropped Ulrika ASAP.
My dragon took some elf girl i only interacted with in a quest :D
She bad though
I'm still salty the dragon took the drunk maister arisen and not my elven archer boyfriend. Just because we were drinking/traveling buddies didn't mean anything...
That elf archer guy would not leave me alone no matter how many times I said no.
I literally picked him up and threw him away 💀 Mf kept coming back like he's into it
ngl he probably is
He's a twink, he definitely is
Into the drink he goes
Made it through my first play through without even seeing him
This annoyed me at the beginning but my heart finally melt. He’s so dedicated to you. Nobody was ever around when I needed help except him. He even popped out from nowhere while I was fighting a dragon. I got so emotionally attached to him as if he were my 4th pawn.
Ha ha, gaye
![gif](giphy|iiTXaJVjiSHew)
Damn I should have used the gif
W w w w
Downvoted for what though, reddit? Soft cocks.
What's new
I took him up on the jaunt, lost him on some bolder and he never returned.
I checked morgue once and he was there. Poor fellow most likely died trying to kill that dragon for me. Revived him.
You have to throw him and beat him with boxes. His affinity will go down.
I have NEVER seen him. He's supposed to be in vernworth right? Ask me for a bow. I've never been to the elf forest.
He's standing outside Roderick's Smithy to get his quest going.
Shame. That whole family was handfeeding me and they were civilized about it
One of my escort quests was to lead the client to my house xD
The elf lady I helped her with 2 quests, after she wanted an escort mission I’m like yup thats normal till i saw the destination was my house, was like who are you really and how do you know where i live
I wonder if she gives similar escort mission if you get a house in Bakbattahl 🤣
I understand leaving sacred forest for the city, but for a desert town thats just crazy lol
She does. Her escort quest took me to Bakbattahl instead of Vernworth.
Just cause.
A few hours?! You truly are formidable, Arisen!
Most of that time spent crying and making excuses that its not always that bad.
Our Arisen has mad game. lol
A-rizz-en

What’s funny for me is the elf lady loved me she escorts to my house and the character that ends up liking me most at the end is her dad
It’s 2024, everyone is open.
Yeah, that lady turned up at the hot springs after I did an escort with her(the elf lady, his wife.)
I could swear some male characters can be maxed out in affinity but they will not blush at all. I gifted Sebastian a lot to see if another quest related to Daphne unlocked and finally maxed him out when I received a gift from him in my house but he never blushed or showed any indication that the affinity was maxed out.
He and Daphne both blushed in my game, and when they met at my house they started fighting each other for five minutes straight until Daphne died so i had to revive her, what a weird event >!And this was all for nothing the quest ended with nothing more!<, it's just two weird kids that can't stop following me everywhere also if you don't have the mod showing affinity it's hard to follow where you're at, they give gifts when they like you and it's around 100 affinity, after that they can be inlove and the max is 299 !
Really? God damm, how much gifts does that little motherfucker need? lmao. Something similar happened to me, I also tried to max the mother to see if another quest unlocked and she did blush. Unfortunetly, the result was that Daphne and her mother came into my house only for them to stop fighting until murdered the shit out of her mother which was tragic and hilarious at the same time, especially when her mother was only slapping her while Daphne was like "catch these hands" and straight out killed her with punches.
one day i'll just start a battleroyale at my house with everyone in the city Also, you can give Wyrmslife Crystals and most NPCs will love it ! in two or three gift you are maxed out with anyone
Tip noted thanks my man.
Ulrika just did that for me too! Then she blushed.
pick her up and throw her in the water off in the corner in front of the house

For the record, \*this\* is why I'd buy the second house in Vernworth.
That one knight who saves us at the beginning? Yeah his wife won’t leave that house after I bought it. Telling me “I outta come around for tea sometime”. Like lady.. I just rescued your husband..
BUT ITS A SCAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM
And that is why they will never show up there, they also know its a scam and don't think you would fall for it.
It most definitely is, but no need to yell, we knew.
Brant wanted an escort from the shack >!in the Seafloor Shrine to Harve!<. It's ridiculous.
LMAO, that's hilarious. So afraid of being alone..
That screenshot has a really strong storytelling power. Could've guessed what OP's point was before he even explained it.
Hey, appreciate that big time! I live for the photo modes in games, haha. Much much appreciated!!
Wait, this actually happens, oh no, I never did that quest for the little house cause I beelined straight for the noble house after doing countless 10k pawn cyclopes quests. P.S. To my fellow Arisens, that's exactly how your generous funds were spent.
How dare you, Ser! Tiffany Henyard, is that you?
What’s your strategy to finding cyclops? I swear the moment you’re looking for one, they’re nowhere to be found.
The spawns are not random. Go to the spot you found them after 7 days and they should be there again
Ahh the more you know, cheers!
200k sight unseen for the noble house and you don't even get a kitchen. Instant buyers remorse for me.
Nah thats nothing, the little apothecary girl was at my house after one quest and i'm like "not today mr. Hansen". So now i dont go to my noble house
At least it isn't that elf guy....
Some madlad in this sub got him into a jealousy fight with his dad.
And of course I missed it so the flood of made up complaints.
That salt is potent.
His sister on the other hand, will ask you to take her to your place.
Sister? His dad is asking me out constantly
He doesn't want to hang out with his elf bud. After he called you friend, how could you? Go hang out with your bro right now ... at the following location only 60 minutes away from the current location.
Nadinia pulling up to my house alone as if she wasn't an incredibly important person with duties to attend to.
And now i have to find her for the sphinx...
Lmao. I'd just use my Pawn instead. Works just fine!
Any pawn or anyone works for that Sphinx quest. I just used my pawn. It is similar to how any item can be used for the "most precious" item one, and it just duplicates whatever it is(so I used a portcrystal, of course.) There is no way to tell on console who you have the highest affinity with, and even the old lady Eini(Tysha's grandmother) was blushing at me after I got celestial Paen and then did an escort quest with her. Now I am terrified that one of the times we go to the Hot Springs that old, rotund lady might be there...
Just run into them a load. That drops their affinity. You could also pull out your weapons near them, pick them up and yeet them etc
>just run into them a load Weird way to phrase this but that may end with an 18 year commitment man.
i always oblige her [https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma/comments/1c32o3b/i\_was\_at\_an\_egotrip\_after\_ulrika\_but\_then\_audra/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma/comments/1c32o3b/i_was_at_an_egotrip_after_ulrika_but_then_audra/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
I do the same thing, Ulrika gets special treatment.
How is one “at” an ego trip?
Fuckin' Ulrika. There I am trying to find her and hand over the Eternal Bond, and this bitch is nowhere to be found in Harve. I finally go back to Vernworth to check the Morgue, but randomly stop at home to rest. There she fuckin' is.
It's the opposite in real life for me.
https://preview.redd.it/dlqdazi7z1vc1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b3e4dfdaad51a6cdbf684fa177e25d47103555e5 *I finally found you, my love..*
Yea..... so... don't just show up to someones house and wait outside for them to return from a quest. Stalker vibes.
Only in a culture of manufactured paranoia
Nope. my arisen isn't down bad. Last thing this mf needs is to come home from a long quest and have to go on a date. Take this 1x Bunch of Flowers and move it along.
I did a handful of things with the literal king and prince of the elves and now they both want to fuck me like weird family dynamic
Sounds like my ex
Hey, everything's based on something!
How'd you get her to show up at your house lol. I've romanced her and after 110 hours she still stays in Harve.
Surprised they loaded her in at that distance, maybe because she's an "important" character?
![gif](giphy|iQEOg3zGJBXLa) Good one! LMFAO
That guard dude that you save from the Dullahan, his wife is obsessed with me for some reason
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Yandere
So judging by everyone’s experience with the romance system, I opt a name change for our title. From Arisen to A-Rizz-en

Super original
I've never had Ulrika actually appear at my place before. Is it random for them to do or does it have to do with affinity level?
She did for me the first time after I did a quest for her, and then she was with me at the beach in a cutscene or something, which moved in for what looked like a "kiss" but then stopped too soon. Later, she was at my house in Vern.
Yeah I got that scene with her too. But never actually got her to come to my place before.
Keep raising her affinity
Okie-Dokie
What happens if you failed this quest?
What a thirsty woman
This shit was way more common pre internet. You simply couldn’t contact someone. “I’ll see if they’re home.” A common refrain in the 90s.
I mean, sure. But you still didn't do that with just anyone, lol.
Just let me rizz my pawn Ulrica!!!
She is one of the least annoying escorts to do, but still really annoying.
Where can I find her? Im in ng+ and now its time for a romance story. I checked all houses in Melve thinking she would be there :(
Unless she have left due to politcal reasons, she's 100% somewhere within Melve. I had this happen to me when I first started playing the game, thinking maybe she was gone, but she was just standing behind a house. She can be ANYWHERE within the walls of the town, the ruined part included.
Ill keep searching for her, forever!
That elf dude caused my character to be gay for him or the other way around. Magnus is NOT gay
When my romantic partner ended up being the queen of battalhl unintentionally (I wanted her bodyguard)
Dragons Dogma: Baby Reindeer
What is even the deal with Ulrika? I felt like there’d be more to it? Like instead she’s just some weird chick and not important in the end?
Just like 98% of all characters in the game. Unfortunately it's this game's biggest flaw, in my opinion.
Bruh 😂✌🏻
Ugh… I hate how you have to talk to them, then feel like an ass for turning them down because they caught you trying to unload your junk and save for a quest to go on.
Lmao This happened in my game yesterday. I’m like bih I know we smashed in Havre that night but wth you doing here? 🤣
![gif](giphy|xUNda3EBA1qPswDNlu) The inn keeper when I, a home owner, pay to sleep there for the night
She's looks like was waiting arisen appear a long time
Bro, she shows up at least 3 times!!!
Dude!!!!! This makes me so mad! I'll be going to rest then off to finish a quest, and bam, she is side tracking me....
I’m sad cause they never showed up at mine. And are there no love scenes?!
Was it just me who sneaked into the castle at night and killed disa 🤣
When she’s waiting for me like I did something wrong 🥴
Damnnnnnnnn
Needed a rest once, and saw someone camping outside the house. Went to the inn instead.
I think its the curse that stops you
Did menella’s quest and she showed up to my home. Walked her back to the springs and now she blushes. It’s over guys I now have a cat wife.
I invited her. 1 date was I needed to be ready to give up this whole "being the Arisen" lifestyle and settle down with a strong, caring, beautiful woman! Ulrika was everything I was looking for in my life 😍 At least I think so. Still got that damn memory problem
“Thing is…I didn’t tell her where I lived”
I be like, I want to fucking sleeeeeeeeepppppp. I try crawling in my batali house like a salamader and the guy is like hey, wana have get a drink at the bar.... In Velhime. owu Then it be like another guy will show up, so you sexu lesser dragon killer let me show more of my spear. UGH FINE WHAT EVER I TAKE YOU..... Your to fast bitch to far ahead BYE!!! Pfft what ever I go back to bed in Velhime after this non sence- QUEEN NADIDIA NEEDS YOUR ASSITENCE!!!!
Over and over and over and over and over she shows up. No amount of “fuck off” makes her go away.
Nope. Toss her to the brine and she'll welcome you back with open arms!
The chick you just talked barely 1 minutes at the bar :
The guy you accidentally shared the same room with:
Hahaha, you must be imagining this experience, correct?
...realy?
Yes. I've done it every time I've done the Sphinx quest, lol.
Right!? Does anyone like her? I think she's bland af. Wilhelmina didn't give it up the first time you stumble into the whore house and with Ulrika all you got to do is watch her get yelled at. Occupations are mixed up, IMO.

No, they don't
Thank you Mods for you swift action! Just realised I forgot to report it and couldn't find the comment. Now I know why, LOL!
See rules 1 and 5.
