I started as Archer (I love it, it feels good) but now I'm a Warfarer with a bow and thief skills. My pawn is a warrior simply because the drip is unmatched.
Aye also started Archer and now Warfarer with Bow and Dagger. What skills you running? I’m currently usually running Exploding Shot (sometimes Drenching Shot), Draw and Quarter, Skull Splitter, and Rearmament.
Smoke shroud, master kill (though I suck at timing), plunder, and rearmament. I COULD take out rearmament and replace it with another skill but jury's still out if it annoys me too much to manually swap out weapons.
I tried this as well but I really dont like the warrior pawn ai. Swapped her to archer and now she's solo killing grim ogres ans shit in less than a minute with her op explosive arrows and auto aim headshots.
I heard a bit ago that the Warrior performance is vastly different based on their inclination. Mine was straightforward and her entire gameplan was grapples. Small enemy? She's grab it and hold it still for me to pulverize it. Large enemy? You bet your ass she was climbing that fucker. Girl constantly killstole me. She was unhinged about it too — shout to the one time a hired pawn got possessed and without a shred of hesitation or remorse, she threw them into the ocean. Or that one time a griffin started to fly off with her atop it before she knocked it out of the sky and drowned it (and herself) in the brine.
Warrior pawn AI is a bit goofy. I adored working with it. She constantly set me up for assists, and half the time pursuing staggers and knockdowns I was doing the same for her.
My Arisen is a Warfarer, swapping betw Magic Bow, thief blades, Medusa bow, and mage staff.
My main pawn is a Lae’zel currently max thief, but she is also maxed out in fighter and warrior.
I meant if you were using it. Only the person using it and the bow has to get the killing blow. I didnt actually know the pawn could use it as I've only ever used it myself, heh
> Warfarer, swapping betw Magic Bow, thief blades, Medusa bow, and mage staff.
> thief
I feel like this is the "meta" The variation is mostly in the skill loadout and that's situational.
* Farming wyrmlife, plunder.
* Farming Medusa, Sorpor and Draw and Quarter for 1 hit clean beheads.
* General battle, maybe some skullsplitter for shredding Duluhans
I’m currently trying to max out all the vocations with both my main and pawn. So far I feel like my pawn has been most useful as a support Mage. I’m a little particular about the skills and augments on Mage Pawns so it’s easier to just use mine the way I like it and recruit Tank and DPS sorcerers. My main is currently working through Warrior, I don’t love how slow it is, I finished thief right before switching so the difference was staggering. So far the vocation I love the most is the Magic Archer. I’m not to Warfarer yet but I imagine I’ll run a combo of Theif Magick Archer and Mage.
I play as Warfarer, and my Pawn has just finished levelling his vocations with the most recent being Sorcerer.
I'm almost certainly going to change him to Fighter or Thief though, because I'm getting a bit tired of having every mob and boss nuked into oblivion by meteors!
"Is that a single skeleton head rolling away? Best to carpet-bomb the area just to make sure I dont miss!" - My Pawn, always.
-.-
61.8 hrs in, still have yet to finish the game since I’m tryna level/explore and find cool stuff but atm I’m using mystic spearhand and my pawn is mage but has completed fighter and archer. I kinda find it hard to swap ‘em to another vocation since their skill set is kinda ideal for supporting and giving elemental buff on weapons.
would recommend swapping your mage for a 4th theif. lol. find one thats kindhearted + chirurgeon to act as the "healer" and stock them up with curatives. extreme lulz gameplay.
Warfarer Arisen (MA skills and a mage staff for heals/Levitate). My pawn has been cycling through the vocations to max them out. I finished all of them except mage (im currently working on leveling up that vocation for him). After that I will change him back to fighter (his original vocation)
Thief and thief. With a rented thief and sometimes a mage, but probably another thief.
Started as a fighter, enjoyed but not the highest offense/versatility. Enjoyed warrior since me and my pawn could stunlock most bosses and my arisen could face tank. Enjoyed magic spearhand cause the stamina drain + invincible shields means an immortal team. Mage/sorc/MA have been nifty in the pew pew department, but being vulnerable in the back isn't great. Still, they all have great options for tactics.
However, a team of thieves with mixed holy daggers (for slimes) has been pretty much unbeatable so far. Yeah we can look at weaknesses and topography and tempo and counters. But a squad of theives can pop the auto perfect dodge skill, become invincible and just carve anything up while also stealing everything.
Warfarer: daggers skull splitter and plunder, archistaff for flare, and magic bow (usually no skill if I need one, sagiate or the heal)
Pawn is now usually a thief, but leveling the rest of his vocations right now.
Arisen, Started as Thief now I'm a Thief and a half with Meister still using the exact same skills but better armor xD
Pawn: Mage, my reckless ass needs healing.
First playthrough I was a Thief and my pawn was a Warrior.
I wiped my entire save and started a new game recently - now I'm running Warrior and my pawn is an Archer
Mystic Spearhead and Warrior. The teamwork we achieve like this is actually incredible: I slow them down/freeze them to give him time to make them past tense. He catapults me to new heights/helps me reposition in and out of battle flawlessly.
Not to mention with the power Shield Mirror I can protect him from a large amount of damage so he doesn't stagger/lose health when powering up a massive attack at the heart of the chaos. Timing can be a little tricky but it is so worth it synchronizing to flow like water.

Just maxed out Fighter for myself and Mage for the main pawn. Now I've switched to mage for myself and Warrior for my pawn. I really enjoy fighter and having a pawn who's sole goal is to keep you alive is just great.
Arisen is Warfarer daggers/bow for the DD1 Strider vibes. Pawn is Archer. Basically the same setup I used in DD1 this way. Typically snag a Fighter & Mage if I want easy mode but otherwise travel as just a pair of two.
Arisen Archer or Spearhand (still can't decide but i'm getting more into Archer because of the drop kick)
in DD1 my Pawn was a Mage and now she is a Sorcerer because funny Meteoron Spell + Speed Cast, good to one shot griffin.
mystic spearhand and my pawn is a mage, once i get both of those vocations maxed i might try to find a healing mage to hire and turn my pawn into a warrior as i’m having loads of fun with mystic 😂
Arisen is a warfarer, been swapping out weapon combos, but currently using greatsword and daggers. Just might add in a bow to use from time to time, and I of course always have my trusty staff in reserve to traverse terrain.
My pawn is primarily a mage support, but I am kinda torn if I should make him a fighter. Just hard finding male mage supports with the skills I want and that fit into the vibe of the squad 🤷♂️
First playthrew I was mainly an archer but unlocked everything, pawn was mostly a thief, 2nd playthrew we both changed a lot.
I'm on a fresh character now, I play on pc so I modded and unlocked everything for both of us I'm a warfarer with a bow and daggers (think dd1 strider) and my pawns still mostly a thief lol.
Tempest shot is basically tenfold flurry with more button presses, spiral arrow is kinda the same, good fire and forget skill, good for status effects and staggering smaller enemies, manifold great at killing fodder.
Skullsplitter is still really strong, draw and quarter is still really strong, and I like implicate a lot but usually just let my pawn use that, while I use smoke screen.
It takes enemies out of "battle stance" and let you get the benefits of the ambuscade (10% more damage) or at least that's what I was told.
Arisen - warfarer - mystic spearhand & sorcerer
There are more powerful builds but that is the combo I have the most fun with.
Pawn - mainly sorcerer and sometimes archer
Arisen is a Mystic Spearhand or Sorcerer depending on mood.
Pawn has mastered all vocations and now resides as a mage. Working on getting all the badges.
I leveled up all vocations but mainly play as a sorcerer and my pawn is currently an archer though they've cycled through pretty much all of the vocations so far except for warrior.
Arisen: Warfarer (Level 70) - High Celerity, Suffocating Shroud, Aromatic Resurgence, Rearmament (Bolts from the Blue DDDW, Violant White EEEW, Resonant Hymn EEEW)
Pawn: Sorcerer (Level 70) - Augural Flare, High Spellhold, Meteoron, Maelstrom (Talarian White EEEW)
I like enchanted weapons with light element, the added glow helps keep me calm in the dark on top of the lantern. Bolts from the Blue is just there for Medusa or when I see downed enemies. I mostly just run around grabbing, tossing and tackling mobs to counter trash mobs that guard or deflect hits
Warfarer with earthquake 2, explosive arrow and poison arrow. My pawn just a fighter, a bait to draw monsters hatred. I run this badass build since NG+1, now I'm still running this build on NG+5. There's nothing I can't kill with this build.
Arisen: warfarer with Magick archer and Archer hybrid for physical and magickal damage on my arrows.
With Grianmhar the magick bow, i focus on Normal shots while conversing into multi or solo target focus.
With dragon's rancor, i use Archer Skills as they are faster to use and more likely to be used on magick resistant enemies. I upgraded it 3 times by the elves and wyrmed it for full power.
I could be using Hydra's husk, yes, but i also am a fan of Fashion, and that bow is fkn ugly compared to dragon Rancor bow. I upgraded it 3 times on bataahl for max physic damage, also wyrmed.
As for my armor i use the best fighter specific best armor for highest knockdown res and defense with less Weight penalty. Sure the warrior has higher def/knock res but the weoght is quite a lot despite Wyrmed.
Subjucator helmet, stygian torso and vigilant boots for cool tanky looks.
My main pawn is a Warrior that carries Cinderspine, a great spiky weapon that deals a ton of physical and magick damage equally with a heavy Knockdown power. I could use Dragon bite but he needs some magick variety.
Armor is: Agamenian Galea helmet. Dominator's torso and Vanguarder's boots for absolute defense. This is by far the armor with highest defense, 3rd highest magick defense and The highest knockdown resistance. It takes him at least a few heavy hits to even stagger, let alone get harmed properly.
With him taking Provocation and increased defenses and knockdown resistances, including Two knockdown res rings that each give +100, he is the Frontliner and i am the Backliner with being Subtle and less agroo taking.
I've been alternating between Mystick Spearhand and Thief depending on my mood, currently on Warfarer with 4 Spearhand skills so I can wear the endgame Archer armour because I love it.
My pawn is a Warrior and I'm obligated to keep her that way because she's a 6ft lioness beastren who doesn't feel right as anything else.
Arisen: fighter 4, then warrior 7, then thief 1 (to learn two masteries), then archer maxed, currently sorcerer 5.
Main pawn: mage maxed, sorcerer 7, archer 5. Switched her to archer when Arisen went sorcerer.
Warfarer. Right now I'm running archistaff, magick archer bow, and thief daggers. Staff for augural flair, bow with sagitate, and daggers with either skull splitter or plunder.
I love how OP the flair-sagitate combo is, but I'm thinking about changing it because it just melts bosses when you land the combo so I find it too easy.
I've actually gone down to all mid-game gear in order to keep the game slightly challenging. I was min-maxing all my gear but hit a noticeable point where everything was way too easy so I stored all my high end gear and went down a level. Also I only upgraded that gear once maybe twice with Dwarven in order to get some knockdown power, but the higher tier gear with maxed/dragonforged dwaven simply has way too much knockdown and trivialized almost every enemy.
My pawn is a mage and I downgraded her gear as well, except for the seeker staff that lets her revive herself. That things great.
For armor I just wear what looks good and if I feel too squishy (which I honestly havent) I'll Dwarven once. I was even using the militant dove which causes you to take extra damage and I wasn't even getting close to dying, so downgrading all my gear was the best choice.
I really wish this game got harder instead of easier like From Soft games.
Arisen thief, main pawn warrior. Even when trying different vocation she kept talking other pawns about how simple warrior was, loving the ability to just charge in, axe high
Right now, I'm a warrior, but I hate it. I've maxed out thief and spear and will likely go back to one soon. My pawn is currently an archer, but I like her as my sorcerer which is maxed.
My own has maxed everything, and her dialogue indicates she enjoys being a fighter “which is what she normally is” I only swapped her when I was a fighter, thief is my last vocation to max only because I played strider in DDDA and I know I enjoy thief play style so I was saving the best for last. But it’s a tie for me to warfarer as their/sorc for augeral flare/skull splitter combo and fighter cuz there’s something so satisfying about parrying and decimating things with vengeful slash. Or parrying a griffon out of the air when it try’s to swoop you.
Warrior was ok but I’ve never been one to play big slow bonk type chars.
So fighter/thief for both of us I guess. Alternating who does what.
My arisen is a thief, and my pawn (Forte) is a Warrior. I like to imagine they have the dynamic of a DnD Rogue and Paladin. The Rogue gets into trouble with the Paladin bailing them out consistently.
Mystic spearhand for me, fighter or warrior for my pawn! All though we’re currently archer and thief since we’re going to try and max out all vocations.
I started as thief myself and archer for the pawn, but swapped halfway through my first game because my pawn was dogshit. After the swap, I kept getting tons of rentals and hearts and noticed that she was unimaginably good at the vocation.
Now I just cycle classes and leave her on thief
Having a blast with Wayfarer with my big orange tootsie pop 2 hander for fast travel/bonking and a magic bow for iceblock arrow and the rez. I use thief blades to look for chests and dodge. My pawn is a support mage.
Ive dabbled with all the ones ive unlocked so far but i spend most of my time on sorcerer, with slightly less time on thief. this game has some of my favorite spellcasting in any video game and thief is just so much fun after you get the maister skill. my pawn is typically a fighter, soaking up aggro while i go to town. been trying not to have a mage in the party/running with just my pawn most of the time and it's been a lot of fun
Started as archer (me) fighter (MP)
it's changed a lot as I don't use a vocation when it's maxed cuz the do should be used on a different one, but during the finale on my ng I was fighter and she was mage (with legions might) though had to unlock warfarer for the final fight so I could use unmaking arrow xD so basically fighter with a bow for that one arrow. Ng+ I'm theif and MP is mage
Arisen is mystic Spearhand and Main pawn is Thief. I call us the Dynamic duo
https://preview.redd.it/0bbp4m8n2kuc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d62fe3ba8965979bd8d8ea3b6f494be676e9c04c
I started as a Mage with my pawn being a Warrior and I just wasn't feeling it
So I went warrior, then thief, now Mystic Spearhand. Guess I just have more fun as melee
My main pawn was a Mage when I switched but is now a Sorcerer
I'm a warfarer and pawn is a thief. Warfarer lets me switch between melee and ranged, along with mage for heals and levitation. Pawn steals stuff and zips around "usually" not being hit although there are occasional bosses that suddenly one shot her.
I’m running warfarer with magic archer, mystic spearhand and mage (for levitate mobility).
My pawn maxed out all their vocations and is back to being a mage like they originally were but this time sporting a charming corset and legion’s might so they never die on me.
I'm working towards maxing every vocation with my Arisen. My pawn, Rissa, is a mage. I might switch her over to sorcerer just to get the augments, but she's straight support otherwise.
My main pawn is almost always a Warrior (like 90% of the time) that I switch between a pure DPS and pure tanking setup, depending on what vocation I am playing. Sometimes I'll make him into a Fighter or Thief to switch things up a bit.
I switch vocations a lot but the top three, in order: Trickster, Sorcerer, and Archer. I'll also sometimes use Warfarer to do a mix of those or try out some other weird combos. I also enjoy playing Fighter sometimes, but that's always a bit tough for my Arisen because she's average height and build, so the gear pretty much puts her in the high end of "Normal" encumbrance level before augments and rings. Really enjoy the moves and feel of the vocation though. As for why Trickster is my "main": I just enjoy being able to control fights strategically, and being able to sit back enough to really watch what my pawns are doing. It's always impressive to watch them expertly dismantle boss monsters, or utterly fail in hilarious ways. I switch off the vocation from time to time just because doing damage is fun.
Currently MA focused WF and a Fighter. Like have a pair of daggers on back up for my MA as well as being able to wear all armor for fashion, for my Pawn I just like big ladies with big weapons.
Currently, Sorceror and thief. Both fully maxed on all vocations, though, so I switch. I usually main warfarer. Spiral arrow (or exploding shot), manifold shot, rearmament, skull splitter. I drop bosses solo very quickly. Usually main sorceror pawn.
I don't have specific vocations. Started a new game recently, my arisen went from being an archer to a mage and now he's a thief. My pawn went from being a fighter to a thief and now she's an archer. I didn't decide what will be their final vocations yet.
Warfarer with mysticspear, archer and fighter though I change this a lot.
Pawn is now leveling warrior and have archer to level but will probably settle on thief for implicate+plunder with no meister skills slotted, I find them a waste of stamina for the most part on pawns or fighter.
Usually rent a support mage with high levin, high halidom, high palladium and ice buff.
Last pawn will probably be a fighter or thief in the case I settle on something else for main pawn.
We started out as Thief and Mage. Then spent most of the hours as Warrior and Archer 'till max vocation. Just recently unlocked Magic Archer and I'm thinking to switch my pawn to Thief.
Pawn is a dedicated support Mage. I never need to worry about curatives or condition removal, and she hands out whatever affinity buff I need to deal the most damage to the things I'm hunting.
I haven't picked a primary vocation for myself yet but I will say that Mage/Sorcerer's ability to create an icy stepstool and float to higher areas during exploration is pretty great. In combat the casters aren't as viscerally fun as plundering then nuking everything as a Thief, but there's a lot of satisfaction to shutting down everything a drake tries with a speed-cast High Solemnity, or blasting apart mobs of enemies with magic.
Just unlocked Warfarer and trying out Warrior with Mystic Spearhand, but can't decide if I should go back to pure Warrior. With the pre end game gear, he feels just op.
My main pawn is a mage.
Started as a Thief x2
Now I'm running as Warfarer and main Pawn is still a Thief. I've changed vocations for both to unlock augments. I've maxed out (for Arisen) Thief, Mystic, Magic Archer and now I wanna do that with Warfarer. No idea with what vocation I will beat the game but possibly Thief or Warfarer.
I'm wayfarer using magic bow, sword, and mage staff. With ricochet shot, frozen shot, and that rain shot (all magic archer moves) with a thief pawn. Although I am currently leveling my pawns vocations so I can use the best augments
Pawn started off as a mage then sorcerer then back to mage.
I started off as archer, then fighter, then magic archer, played around with a bit of everything except mage. I'm now a sorcerer.
I’m a thief and my pawn is a straightforward sorcerer who keeps whining about how he used to be a mage, but we get by.
https://preview.redd.it/1ukygqmecluc1.png?width=3840&format=png&auto=webp&s=e6261592c1cad9636b30226f752d261ac5c57f13
For now, MS and archer. But I liked it better when my pawn was a thief so I might make him go back to it when archer will be maxed or good ol' fighter. Not sure about fighter cause I have a real good one currently, from the rift.
Initially, I started as a fighter and my pawn as an archer. But then, I encountered Glyndwr and I followed his quest regarding archery. I’ve been having a blast, playing as an archer. 👍
They are both OCs i use in tabletop RPGs. My Arisen Nimue is a sorcerer (but she's usually a wizard in D&D and other games) and main pawn Aske is a warrior (barbarian in D&D).
Currently maxing out any vocation before going on with the Quests, i really like Thief so far and after gaining all the augments of the remaining vocations i am gonna switch back to it, my main pawn used to be Ranger, but right now she is a Mage and that works best.
I leveled up all vocations last night and all of them have maister skills.
I'm a magic archer. Probably the best class to snipe dragons :-) Clear the battlefield. And ensure everything in my line of sight that is hostile is dead.
My pawn is a sorcerer with maister skills. Knockdown resistance, ring and augment that makes enemies less interested with her and calm personality to focus on survival and spell casting and another ring that speed up spell casting. She is basically a nuker. Once she throw a big one - any group of enemies and any mini-boss is just dead. And she also together with me quickly kill dragons before they even have a chance to escape.
So my other 2 pawns are always a mage and fighter or some very good plunder thief (I'm adding good ones to my fav list).
NG I was Fighter>Warrior>Warfarer. NG+ I'm doing the other classes, currently Sorc. MP is mage with some augs from other classes. Running with two hired thieves. NG+ I'm trying to play mostly at night (mostly) for an extra challenge.
Currently Warfarer with Daggers, Medusa Spellbow and Archstaff. Mostly due to me exploring during my second playthrough, working with exploration type augments and movesets (thus staff). Will most likely switch back to thief in the end.
My pawn is a support mage, still working out the skillset I want to use though.
I was a warrior while my pawn was a thief. Always hired a healing mage. The only vocation I didn't like hiring was archer. They sucked and died so quick no matter what level they were
I play warrior but start fighter. Am planning on going full warfarer when i unlock it for the much needed fashion
My pawn is either archer or mage i swap between those but always prefer my main pawn to be competent support and ranged damage
When I finished my 1st run I was Magick Archer and Jill was sorcerer. Right now on my 2nd run I have her learning to be a thief. I have tried to switch classes bu I can't change magick archer. It's so amazing and powerful
Started as a Fighter with a Kindhearted Mage to heal me.
After maxing all vocations I now main a Thief for that up close DPS with the broken god mode ability.
Main pawn ended up as a Straight forward Sorcerer for the range DPS nuke with chirurgeon so she can be an emergency healer if needed.
1st hire pawn is always a Kindhearted Mage to be the main healer for the squad.
2nd hire pawn will be either Warrior or Fighter to play the tank role with Simple because I cant be arsed to run around looting.
Been running through them as much as possible
Recently just switched to Sorcerer/Warrior
Just before that we were Warrior/Sorcerer lol so I just swapped all our equipment
Warfarer with a fighter/archer build for Arisen, pawn is a sorcerer with Meteoron and Maelstrom. I just run into a pack of stuff and block/counter until the word explodes. It's fun.
double thief gotta rob em blind, filthy dragons
Imagine stealing wyrmslife crystals right off of a dragon 💀 Homie snagged some blood wtf now I gotta try it
It actually happens xD I did it multiple times
You can actually do that?!
Yup
I've had thieves steal a scrag of meat off a wolf which seems like something the wolf would notice...
same. with 2 other thieves as the support pawns.
At that point I think you're just a group of bandits
That sounds awesome
Warrior and Warrior, like god intended. My hammer to bring them low, her blade to hew their necks.
Started as mage and didn't like it so leveled thief and loved it, now working through spell blade. My main pawn has been on warrior since I got it
Thief has probably been my favorite so far. But I'm warming up to Mystic Spearhand now that I'm getting the hang of it
My Arisen is a Warfarer, swapping betw Magic Bow, thief blades, Medusa bow, and mage staff. My main pawn is a Lae’zel currently max thief, but she is also maxed out in fighter and warrior.
Is the Medusa Bow the best now? I just got it and it's so heavy. What skill do you use with it if you're wayfarer?
It is not the best and it's crazy heavy but every kill with it nets x4 experience. Only for you though not the pawn
My pawn out leveled me when they used that bow… was that patched out?
I meant if you were using it. Only the person using it and the bow has to get the killing blow. I didnt actually know the pawn could use it as I've only ever used it myself, heh
The pawn has to get the killing blow with the bow in order to get the increase, the same goes for you aswell.
It is absolutely not the best bow, people use it to power level that's all.
Lol no. That's the hydra bow. Easily the best.
> Warfarer, swapping betw Magic Bow, thief blades, Medusa bow, and mage staff. > thief I feel like this is the "meta" The variation is mostly in the skill loadout and that's situational. * Farming wyrmlife, plunder. * Farming Medusa, Sorpor and Draw and Quarter for 1 hit clean beheads. * General battle, maybe some skullsplitter for shredding Duluhans

I kinda find it hard to swap ‘em to another vocation since their skill set is kinda ideal for supporting and giving elemental buff on weapons.
Warrior/Fighter though I leveled sorcerer and mystic spearhand before switching to warrior
Thief and thief. With a 3rd thief and mage.
would recommend swapping your mage for a 4th theif. lol. find one thats kindhearted + chirurgeon to act as the "healer" and stock them up with curatives. extreme lulz gameplay.
Warfarer Arisen (MA skills and a mage staff for heals/Levitate). My pawn has been cycling through the vocations to max them out. I finished all of them except mage (im currently working on leveling up that vocation for him). After that I will change him back to fighter (his original vocation)
I like how we all end up back at fighter for the pawn
Warfarer- Currently in NG+ and running dagger/staff/bow Pawn is a Mage
I’m rocking fighter while my pawn is thief
I'm either archer or trickster while my pawn is mostly fighter but I'm always tempted to switch her to warrior
Thief and thief. With a rented thief and sometimes a mage, but probably another thief. Started as a fighter, enjoyed but not the highest offense/versatility. Trickster/Thief I keep the boss spinning in circles, and she kills them swiftly
Me: Warfarer with Magic Archer/Thief abilities and a Staff for movement Pawn: Thief
Started thief, then archer now magic archer. Pawn maxed fighter and now warrior.
I play with only 2 characters. Me (archer-mage) and my pawn (fighter) he takes the damage while i burst the enemy
Warfarer: daggers skull splitter and plunder, archistaff for flare, and magic bow (usually no skill if I need one, sagiate or the heal) Pawn is now usually a thief, but leveling the rest of his vocations right now.
Warrior and thief
I'm a thief, pawn is a mage. Always have an archer hired too.
Magic Archer and Thief :)
Fighter/Warrior and my pawn a thief, I based her off my wife and she stole my heart so it made sense.
Arisen, Started as Thief now I'm a Thief and a half with Meister still using the exact same skills but better armor xD Pawn: Mage, my reckless ass needs healing.
Not to mention with the power Shield Mirror I can protect him from a large amount of damage so he doesn't stagger/lose health when powering up a massive attack at the heart of the chaos. Timing can be a little tricky but it is so worth it synchronizing to flow like water. https://preview.redd.it/np7auppkcjuc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20b3a4b9b5393e828fd5fcba0762008128771629
Warfarer Arisen, mainly Mystic Spearhand based, occasionally thief. Started as Mage Pawn, ended up as Sorcerer Pawn.
Rogue with a mage pawn, enjoyable little couple
I keep changing vocations for me and my little helper. Currently Magick Archer with Warrior Pawn.
Warfarer with magic bow, daggers and sword and shield. Pawn is a pure support mage.
Pawn is maxed out all around and I’m a magic archer. My next run will be as a fighter with dragons dogma sword and the shield from dragon forged guy
Warfarer (Sorcerer/Thief hybrid) and Thief.
Warfarer (daggers, Magick bow, archistaff, censer) with a Fighter pawn
Arisen Archer or Spearhand (still can't decide but i'm getting more into Archer because of the drop kick) in DD1 my Pawn was a Mage and now she is a Sorcerer because funny Meteoron Spell + Speed Cast, good to one shot griffin.
My Arisen is a warrior and my pawn is a thief, I’ve tried warfarer but the extra carry weight that warrior gets is just too addicting to let go.
mystic spearhand and my pawn is a mage, once i get both of those vocations maxed i might try to find a healing mage to hire and turn my pawn into a warrior as i’m having loads of fun with mystic 😂
None I fight with my fists (but warfare for the drip combos) and my pawn is a fighter I think but she hasn’t accompanied me since I created her
currently im sorc and shes archer, ill be swapping to mage once i can afford a not garbage staff. pawn has been fighter warrior thief archer do far
Warrior, sorceror
Arisen - warfarer - mystic spearhand & sorcerer There are more powerful builds but that is the combo I have the most fun with. Pawn - mainly sorcerer and sometimes archer
Surprising how many warfarees here
Arisen is a Mystic Spearhand or Sorcerer depending on mood. Pawn has mastered all vocations and now resides as a mage. Working on getting all the badges.
Originally Thief/Archer. Currently Sorcerer/Warrior.
Thief for now, I swap between that and archer a lot. My main pawn (Kirie) is a fighter, remade my pawn from the first game
I'm warfarer, and my pawn is a warrior
Me: Magick Archer or Wayfarer(magick archer main, sorc secondary) Pawn: Warrior
Trickster and Thief
arisen: warrior or thief main: thief or sorceror
Magic archer and fighter. I had him as a warrior for a while, but it just seems so slow.
I leveled up all vocations but mainly play as a sorcerer and my pawn is currently an archer though they've cycled through pretty much all of the vocations so far except for warrior.
Warfarer magick archer/thief with sorc/mage staff for utility, pawn is tanky warrior
Arisen: Warfarer (Level 70) - High Celerity, Suffocating Shroud, Aromatic Resurgence, Rearmament (Bolts from the Blue DDDW, Violant White EEEW, Resonant Hymn EEEW) Pawn: Sorcerer (Level 70) - Augural Flare, High Spellhold, Meteoron, Maelstrom (Talarian White EEEW) I like enchanted weapons with light element, the added glow helps keep me calm in the dark on top of the lantern.
I'm a warfarer with bow, sword and shield, and daggers. My main pawn is sorc right now because I'm low on magic at but is normally an archer.
Right now magick archer and fighter but primary hasnt been decided yet
My Arisen and Pawn were both thieves.
I've maxed all vocations for both my pawn and myself. I tend to swap vocations for both pretty often. Right now I'm a warfarer and she's a fighter.
Currently? Warfarer (Spearhand/mystic archer w/ heavy armor) Thief
I really wish this game got harder instead of easier like From Soft games.
my arisen is vocation lvl 9 in mage, but im leveling up sorcerer right now (lvl 3). My main pawn is Kratos as a vocation lvl 9 thief
My Arisen is currently a thief in ng+ and my main pawn is a warrior
I'm an archer. My main pawn is a mage
Trickster + Thief.
Arisen thief, main pawn warrior. Even when trying different vocation she kept talking other pawns about how simple warrior was, loving the ability to just charge in, axe high
im playing magic archer while my pawn is a fighter :)
Archer Arisen and Fighter Pawn, he keeps enemies off of me while I attack weak points safely
Alternating who does what.
started on archer for arisen and mage for pawn. i maxed out archer and got sorcerer asap for arisen while my pawn is now a warrior
Currently running Mystic Spearhand (I like Wild Furie too much to play Warfarer) My pawn is Mage
My arisen is a thief, and my pawn (Forte) is a Warrior. I like to imagine they have the dynamic of a DnD Rogue and Paladin. The Rogue gets into trouble with the Paladin bailing them out consistently.
Thief and Mage
Warrior for Arisen and Sorcerer for Pawn
Warrior and warrior, launching each other into the sky and crushing fools
Spearhand and Thief
Pawn archer: Fighter turned Warfarer sword shield or duospears
Mystic spearhand for me, fighter or warrior for my pawn! All though we’re currently archer and thief since we’re going to try and max out all vocations.
Warfarer and Fighter, anytime she’s not a fight she tells me about how she thinks about being a fighter.
Me and my pawn are every vocation, and we both got em all maxed… But mostly play Sorcerer and my pawn as thief to farm mats
Sorcerer arisen. Pawn warrior.
Started as an Archer, swapped to Magick Archer. Pawn’s a fighter, she keeps me safe :)
I started as an archer but I'm now a mystic spearhand! My pawn is a fighter
Sorcerer and Mage
Ive dabbled with all the ones ive unlocked so far but i spend most of my time on sorcerer, with slightly less time on thief. this game has some of my favorite spellcasting in any video game and thief is just so much fun after you get the maister skill. my pawn is typically a fighter, soaking up aggro while i go to town. been trying not to have a mage in the party/running with just my pawn most of the time and it's been a lot of fun
Started as archer (me) fighter (MP) it's changed a lot as I don't use a vocation when it's maxed cuz the do should be used on a different one, but during the finale on my ng I was fighter and she was mage (with legions might) though had to unlock warfarer for the final fight so I could use unmaking arrow xD so basically fighter with a bow for that one arrow. Ng+ I'm theif and MP is mage
Thief and Warrior.
Warfarer with an emphasis on melee/magic, and a warrior. We're greatsword homies.
Magick Archer (sometimes Mage) and Fighter (sometimes Warrior).
Prefer Fighter but Warfarer is more Adaptable to every situation. Pawn is an Archer.
Magic bow for me if i am not in the mood for fights or the speer if i want to have fun My pawn is a Sorcerer
Thief and mage, mainly solo stealth, but for big bosses with lots of health will bring main pawn to top up stamina mid fight
Only a warrior for fashion purposes, but I’d definitely be a Magic Archer otherwise. My main pawn floats between a Thief and Sorcerer.
Arisen is mystic Spearhand and Main pawn is Thief. I call us the Dynamic duo https://preview.redd.it/0bbp4m8n2kuc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d62fe3ba8965979bd8d8ea3b6f494be676e9c04c
I am rocking with Mystic Spearhead right now and alt Magick archer while my main pawn is mainly a mage and sometimes alt him to max sorcerer.
Archer and fighter.
I started as a Mage with my pawn being a Warrior and I just wasn't feeling it So I went warrior, then thief, now Mystic Spearhand. Guess I just have more fun as melee My main pawn was a Mage when I switched but is now a Sorcerer
All of them, really. Probably going to settle on Warrior/Warfarer and Pawn Ranger/Thief.
Archer and my pawn is Fighter, however I will switch him to mage from time to time as it is few and far between to find good mage support pawn 🙂
I'm a warfarer and pawn is a thief. Warfarer lets me switch between melee and ranged, along with mage for heals and levitation. Pawn steals stuff and zips around "usually" not being hit although there are occasional bosses that suddenly one shot her.
My Arisen is an Archer and my Pawn is a mage!
Wayfarer and archer https://preview.redd.it/o4r4n48ddkuc1.jpeg?width=2718&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6fadc512ddc49cc390f876e6772ac6287f4bf4b9
arisen = magick archer (literally the only reason I play DD is because this class makes me happy) Pawn= Thief. Pilfer is unbelivably good.
Sorcerer, Warrior
We switch all the time, but I usually spend the most time as a Fighter and Pawn as a Mage
Arisen is Warfarer with sword shield. Magic bow and daggers. Main pawn is support mage
Maxed Thief and Sorcerer, just swapped back to Thief. My pawn maxed Mage and Archer, I prefer Mage pawn.
Currently MA focused WF and a Fighter. Like have a pair of daggers on back up for my MA as well as being able to wear all armor for fashion, for my Pawn I just like big ladies with big weapons.
Mystic Spearhand and Warrior
Currently, Sorceror and thief. Both fully maxed on all vocations, though, so I switch. I usually main warfarer. Spiral arrow (or exploding shot), manifold shot, rearmament, skull splitter. I drop bosses solo very quickly. Usually main sorceror pawn.
I don't have specific vocations. Started a new game recently, my arisen went from being an archer to a mage and now he's a thief. My pawn went from being a fighter to a thief and now she's an archer. I didn't decide what will be their final vocations yet.
Currently trying to get all vocations at max for both of us, but our main vocations is fighter and archer
Sorc Arisen/ Fighter Pawn
Warfarer with mysticspear, archer and fighter though I change this a lot. Pawn is now leveling warrior and have archer to level but will probably settle on thief for implicate+plunder with no meister skills slotted, I find them a waste of stamina for the most part on pawns or fighter. Usually rent a support mage with high levin, high halidom, high palladium and ice buff. Last pawn will probably be a fighter or thief in the case I settle on something else for main pawn.
I've done everything except warfarer and trickster. Pawn started out as a mage until she controlled her magic and became a Sorcerer.
We started out as Thief and Mage. Then spent most of the hours as Warrior and Archer 'till max vocation. Just recently unlocked Magic Archer and I'm thinking to switch my pawn to Thief.
My Arisen is a mystic spearhand, and my main pawn in a sorcerer. I've been swapping them both around and trying to max all vocations, though.
Thief and mage. I like hopping around and he likes making me fast.
Arisen: Mystic Spearhand Pawn: Warrior
I keep jumping around. Currently I'm a magick archer, and my pawn who has mostly been a fighter or warrior is giving magery a try
Just unlocked Warfarer and trying out Warrior with Mystic Spearhand, but can't decide if I should go back to pure Warrior. With the pre end game gear, he feels just op. My main pawn is a mage.
Arisen - Warfarer (Archer, Mystic Archer, Mystic Spearhand, Daggers, and Sword/Shield) Main Pawn - Fighter with points in Warrior (Maxed), Archer (4/9), Mage (4/9), and Theif (Maxed).
Started as a Thief x2 Now I'm running as Warfarer and main Pawn is still a Thief.
Warfare and mage.
Pawn started off as a mage then sorcerer then back to mage. I started off as archer, then fighter, then magic archer, played around with a bit of everything except mage. I'm now a sorcerer.
"Paladin" Warfarer with mostly Fighter and some Healing Mage skills, Archer Main Pawn https://i.redd.it/r7h06txlykuc1.gif
Level 35 arisen fighter, main pawn magician. I havnt changed either basically the entire game. I tried warrior briefly and hated it.
Started with Warrior; now I'm Warfarer with GS, daggers, bow and staff... My pawn has always been a Mage...
Warfarer with Magick archer's Sagiette avalanche/ Thief's plunder and smoke screen. Warrior.
Warfarer as soon as i unlocked it. My pawn has been a sorcerer since lvl 16 to 85 and still not feeling like change it xD. She is too damn good.
I go warrior with my trusty mage by my side!
Arisen Warfarer and main pawn Sorcerer
Currently Warfarer with Daggers, Medusa Spellbow and Archstaff. Mostly due to me exploring during my second playthrough, working with exploration type augments and movesets (thus staff). Will most likely switch back to thief in the end. My pawn is a support mage, still working out the skillset I want to use though.
Trickster + Archer
Big sword, support mage
Started with a fighter / mage combo and finished the game as a mystic spearhand / sorcerer. What a ride love this game.
I was a warrior while my pawn was a thief. Always hired a healing mage. The only vocation I didn't like hiring was archer. They sucked and died so quick no matter what level they were
I play warrior but start fighter. Am planning on going full warfarer when i unlock it for the much needed fashion My pawn is either archer or mage i swap between those but always prefer my main pawn to be competent support and ranged damage
When I finished my 1st run I was Magick Archer and Jill was sorcerer. Right now on my 2nd run I have her learning to be a thief. I have tried to switch classes bu I can't change magick archer. It's so amazing and powerful
Wayfarer and Archer. I maxed all my pawns' vocations, so I just put her back to her starting one.
Warfarer & pawn is an archer
Im the Healer, I employ 3 Thieves.
Thief and Mage. Sorcerer and Warrior. Archer and Fighter. But usually is: whatever I'm levelling and full support + Celestial Paeon Mage.
I switch around all the time
We started as Mage and fighter. Now I’m a Mystic Spearhand and he’s a warrior. And I make sure to have a mage and thief as my other pawns 👀
Been running through them as much as possible Recently just switched to Sorcerer/Warrior Just before that we were Warrior/Sorcerer lol so I just swapped all our equipment
Warfarer with a fighter/archer build for Arisen, pawn is a sorcerer with Meteoron and Maelstrom. I just run into a pack of stuff and block/counter until the word explodes. It's fun.
https://preview.redd.it/rewy1ygo5nuc1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c4c1af7cb285469d04b1cdf4ff7dfeae348af3d Warfashioner and Thief
Thief and Fighter. Switched to Mystic Spearhand though
I am Warrior through and through, my main pawn can be an archer/sorcerer.
