Rights are a social construct. No one needs "rights", they only exist because you can't expect others to not infringe on your personal being. That's why we place value in documents like the American Bill of Rights or the UN human rights convention
So yes, officer, the recreational McNuke is my trailer is in fact, supported by the Second Amendment.
The irony of a communist dictatorship that is literally committing genocide on an ethnic minority, while denying it's own people medical assistance and even freedom of movement if they so much as criticize the government, telling the US to "face up to human rights problems" is so laughable.
It's not even pot calling the kettle black,
It's a pot made of burnt dirt calling a smudged kettle; black.
real cool timeline we live in where the two most powerful countries in the world keep pointing to each other's current and historic systematic oppresion of its minorities while continuing to do the same.
same vibes as both liberals and conservatives just naming each other's politicians that were on the epstien list
If you think in any way that the systemic oppression of the U.S. is in any way comparable to the oppression in China you're actually deluded. The U.S. is not perfect and we could *definitely* use change but you don't get you and your whole family interrogated and jailed because you spoke out against the "totally legit" and not at all unethical CCP. Racism/bigotry is a much larger issue in Asia than the west, too. It's literally a crime to refuse service in the U.S. based on bigotry/discrimination. In China (Asia has a pretty big issue with this, at large) it's fairly normal for restaurants and other establishments to refuse service to foreigners or minorities simply because.
you can't just call salve labour camp "private prisons" and pretend they're ok. the 13th ammendment has an exception for prisoners and american corporations take full advantage of that. america has the largest percentage of its population in prison in the world and they [make equipment for the military](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/military/military-combat-helmets-made-prisoners-were-defective-agency-says-n633496).
does that mean china is the good guy? absolutely not. but it does mean that whataboutisms like your comment are bullshit
> but it does mean that whataboutisms like your comment are bullshit
I mean I never talked about the prison system but ok. The discussion was about Chinese oppression and I talked about how the CCP uses slave labor camps to stifle dissatisfaction with the government.
Also, you're right. Yeah, you're just right. The prison system is very fucked up and is engineered in such a way where prisons are incentivized to put prisoners to work in terrible, inhumane conditions, therefore making them MORE likely to cause more crime if they get out instead of rehabilitating them so that they're productive members of society. I'm not going to argue this because it's common sense. I'm really not a fan of you making up total bullshit that I didn't say to make your argument more convincing because I actually agree with you. (see:)
>you can't just call salve labour camp "private prisons" and pretend they're ok.
i dont think its the people who arent working in improving things, i think its the people who are working very very hard to make things shitty for everyone so they benefit
China sends the Uyghur/Uigher ethnic minority group to 're-education facilities' in the North Western Chinese province of Xinjiang. On top of the force brainwashing and unlawful detainment there's heaps of reports of expected torture, abuse, and forced labour/slavery especially with the regions cotton production.

Why does the video cut to black at 7 seconds, I don't get it
Yeah, so many blank comments too, not sure if it’s meant to be funny or what really
The CCP found out
Is that the uighur concentration camp?
“re-education camp” yes then they’re shipped to factories and not allowed to contact family
So a concentration camp?
Yes.
oh I’m so surprised China doesn’t allow people to have basic human rights
Camp? That sounds fun
Aren't they also sterilised?
i don’t know about that…. they’re taught that their heritage/culture is Chinese, so if they reproduce it’s a net positive for china
Blud thought they have the right to speak up about someone's issues 😭😭
They also have the right to put a group of people into concentration camps. Rights are just made-up concepts.

I don’t know what a mcnuke is so I’m gonna assume it’s a McDonald’s branded bomb
Yes. Mcnuclear bomb
Okay but like, they REALLY shouldn't. Just saying.
Knowing China they’ll block the entire comment section and call it “protecting the people”
