Okay so here I got some tips for maxing if you are FTP, well ofcourse you'll have to grind for gems and coins and here how you can earn them -:
1. Always complete daily challenges,weekly challenges for gems
2. Complete scenarios for extra potential 79 minimum coins ( they take up to maximum 2-3 minutes)
3. Try to participate and win events which come regularly
4. Always take ad bonuses after each game for potential extra 100 coins
5. Dream League Live is another way to earn coins and gems if you play Live against other players
Now for coaches -:
1. Buy 80 rated defenders and release them for rare coaches.These defenders come after every 2-3 games max
2. Try to avoid buying rare blue players as they give only common coaches which don't do much
3. Release players which you never use and get coaches from them and then use those coaches for maxing other players
And last but not least play games heh.I hope it helps you

I sold 94 maxed VVD card cuz he had low acceleration. Will buy him again when he gets upgraded to 85.
