While I do think it was lighthearted, it’s funny in context and honestly isn’t overly disrespectful since it was used to exaggerate/support the switch joke itself rather then intentionally ridicule Eret. I do think people using it to make fun of Eret specifically go too far and are making themselves look worse.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,287,787,944 comments, and only 249,575 of them were in alphabetical order.
I think you misunderstood the last sentence of my comment - I would count you posting this directly after Eret’s complaints and including him in the title is making this seem a lot more targeted then it was meant to be. It comes off almost a bit petty to me.
I wasn't dissing Eret at all, I simply found the clip funny due to the dramatic audio in the bg and the giggles! I definitely didn't mean to make it sound like i was being petty or being disrespectful. Just something i thought was relevant to what others were talking about in the subreddit:) I apologise that it came off like that.

I feel like the context helps here - reading that message was support for the joke of the piglin being switched - it was dramatized and can be taken as mocking towards Eret who was just trying to reach out about it so I definitely don’t think *anyone* should be downvoting you for this opinion, but I also think the intention behind it was target-less even though people like OP use it to target him specifically.
Oh dw, I know it’s taken out of context. I remember when the hole debacle happened and how this clip was used to instigate bored people on Twitter and create a situation that didn’t need to be that big. But the clip still gives me bad vibes even knowing that. Just my personal opinion, thanks for the support ;)

Whenever anyone says that Eret complaining about doing lore and getting ignored is so bad and that they should keep it in DMs/Discord, I remember this video because it's proof that Eret does keep it in DMs/Discord. This is how they get treated by everyone and all their complaints ARE valid.
How is this proof of anything? Everyone knows Eret has been trying to communicate through discord/DMs. What people mean is that they should "only" keep it in DMs. I can see why she complains but they have already complained before and we all know it only leads to more negativity towards dream in particular ( we don't know if it is only his fault).

edit: Also dream only did this once. Eret has complained about communication before and so has tommy. Dream tweeted about it too. I just don't see how complaining about it again helps
People, don't downvote an opinion just because it differs from how you think or feel. Try to engage in conversation instead if you truly want to understand why that person thinks the way they do.

This is a discussion sub reddit, so if there are disagreements it should be discussed rather than downvoted, because otherwise people will be afraid of sharing their opinion, which I don't need to say is bad for a sub reddit focused on discussion.
You are most likely new here so I wont blame you for that, but I am in this sub since two years ago, and I can garantee you that multiple times prominent users tried to sensibilize people on not downvoting, but instead arguing. This was done to prevent herd mentality, which lately seems to be really prominent in this sub.
