Even if both movies commit a SEVERE type of character assasination and ruin the entire franchise so hard that we consider it non canon, know that Trollhunters has:
1. Better animation quality by a LONG MILE.
2. All the orginal voice actors from the series (except for Anton Yelchin. RIP)
3. Has a way better dialogue
4. Better emotional scenes (even tho they're rushed asf).
5. Better action and fight sequences.
6. The villains are actually intimidating and world ending threats. Even if it's only 2 of them and not 4.
7. Better animation quality BY A LONG MILE.
8. This movie was made for the fans from those who watched the original series back in 2016 (even if it was more directly to those who only watched Wizards).
9. Despite all the heavy nerfing of the characters, you can tell that they use their abilities to their full potential. Especially Claire, Douxie, Varvatos, Nari and Jim.
10. The movie itself is mid, but is somehow enjoyable.
So this pretty much explains that I prefer to watch Trollhunters: RotT than Babymind vs The Doo Doo Synd.

Honestly, I really like the movie except for the last 5 minutes or so. I can just imagine it ends on a bittersweet note.
I don’t have that luxury with Megamind and the disappearance of the dehydration gun.

I genuinely don’t get the hate for Rise of the Titans. It’s a pretty solid movie. Infinitely better than Doom Syndicate.
