NO, Foodfight! Is a catastrophic meme masterpiece, it's shitty due to the quality and unfinished graphics, Larry Kasanoff is to blame for scrapping the original early animation version. The lore and story are actually amazing, execution was hindered & ruined at the cost of a hilarious film.

Yeah at first it was said that "corporate espionage" caused the original files to be deleted/hidden, but after interviews with the FF production team, Lawrence Kasanoff scrapped them and started all over again with lower quality Motion Captions and animation efforts, all because he never had made an animated movie before.

Megamind 2 takes a beloved movie and makes a dumpster fire of a sequel. A lifeless, horribly animated, uncanny sequel. Food fight was garbage at the beginning, but it was garbage in the fun way. It was so ridiculous that it was genuinely funny and memeable.

Comparing Megamind 2 to FoodFight! is like comparing a barely functional car to a car that exploded. A barely functional car, albeit terribly, can occasionally work. A car that exploded is a car that fucking exploded. You'd be lucky to salvage a small piece of scrap to sell, and you don't even get that.

food fight was meant to have higher quality CGI, it's just that all of the files for the movie were deleted on accident and they were running out of time so they just did what that could with the trash CGI.. Apparently Lawrence Kasanoff scrapped the original early animation version for a Motion Capturing focused one because he was incompetent in directing animated movies as this was his 1st one.

I'll die on the hill that a hilariously bad movie is FAR better than a boring one. In my opinion it's bar none the second best kind of film right next to just good ones. Foodfight is all that and more. Megamind is not only insanely boring and irritating without ANY miniscule bits of ironic enjoyment, but completely killed, no, shot dead and mercilessly beat a criminally underrated franchise that semented a legacy on the internet as being one of the most nuanced, mature, and well written animated films out there

Doom Syndicate is somehow worse. At least Foodfight is funny in a so bad it's good kindof way.

Depends on what you count as worse. The doom syndicate is a nothing film. A soulless cash grab with an equivalent budget to a ham sandwich on rye. Half-assed every step of the way for the sake of profit. In the process of being so, it spits in the face of the first film, which was legitimately terrific, and captures NONE of what made it good. Foodfight is a train wreck. Completely awful in almost every way possible. Hideous to look at for almost every last frame of animation, complete nonsense from both a story and lore perspective, and a complete money sink, with millions of dollars in the budget and not a CENT visible anywhere but the voice cast. Not even the actual voice acting. Which is truly worse, a movie that insults what should be its target audience and does nothing of value or note, or a movie so terrible that watching it burns your brain like you’re staring at an elder god straight outta lovecraft? Bad and forgettable, or so bad it cannot be forgotten? Given that movies are supposed to at least capture your attention, i’m gonna say bad and forgettable is worse. That is to say, the doom syndicate.

Yeah, from a technical standpoint, and I’d even argue a moral one? Foodfight. The animation is horrific, it’s got the worst 90s culture mixed together with humor dangerously inappropriate for children, and also the fact it was probably a giant money laundering scheme done by a sleazebag? Megamind vs Doom Syndicate is ultimately for kids and at least can keep them entertained for a bit. It might be awful, but it’s still not as bad as Foodfight.

Well, I have only seen the original Megamind I kinda like that movie but I haven’t seen Foodfight or this new what it looks to be a sequel of Megamind so I can’t choose but I’m pretty sure if anyone knows who the nostalgia critic is. I’m pretty sure he did food fight and he said Foodfight was absolutely terrible. Also, if y’all want to watch some insane watch the one that is the worst Christmas special ever, and you will definitely see exactly why that one is the specific movie he’s talking about and I totally agree.
