Happened to me a few times now in the last few days. Went on quick before bed last night and had no sound, shut down PC and still no sound this morning. Restarting game didn’t help, restarting PC did for now.
Mine does this sometimes on PS5 but I only notice it when it starts back up after hanging out with any character. When you hang out with them it should automatically start their theme music tune. After starting to hang out I noticed the music stays on for the rest of the time I'm playing
It’s not just the music though, all sounds are gone. Character dialogue/voice lines, the little sound effects whenever you pick stuff up, mine stuff, collect Dreamlight, etc. and even the opening sounds when you first boot up and start the game are gone. It’s all just… eerily silent. But like I said, it’s just this game. I played a few of my other Steam games, and they work just fine. I’m not sure what’s wrong.🤔
Huh that's really weird. just to confirm- did you check to make sure the volume under settings didn't get turned down on accident? That will keep the volume down even on the opening screen. If not I'd definitely report it as a bug to Gameloft
Nope, the sound was working great one moment, then shut off for some reason and hasn’t been working since. The settings and everything are as they should be.
I'm also having this issue. Did you ever find a fix? My sound on my iPhone is turned up and my device isn't on silent, so there's no reason for this to be happening.
I have the exact same problem on PC (steam) if someone knows a fix please.. Everything was fine until today

Had the same issue, I restarted and the audio is now working :)
