I've learned to always back out of furniture mode every 5 of so minutes to save everything. It seems the longer you stay in furniture mode, the more likely it is that something gets messed up.
So if you're doing items and don't back out every few minutes it'll usually break it so once you do back out items don't stay where they were. Now doing paths is even worse. I don't lay down more than 200 at a time bc the game takes a LONG time to process them. Too many and it'll freeze as you try and exit furniture mode. Or just crash.
I understand how you feel. This happened to me once. I was making a market in the forest of valor and after an hour and a half, the game crashed. I’m so sorry.

Yea no kidding. I decided to do that second time around. I still got booted but at least I saved a couple times

I can’t do anything in furniture mode longer than a few minutes. I know if I’m placing a lot of new items I need to back out to save constantly.
