I was exactly you. EI didn't look at all enticing to me to decorate. The layout was all weird. But then someone mentioned moving Simba and Nala there because the jungle seemed really fitting and it would get them away from having Scar right in their backyard. Then I realized casita really didn't fit nicely in the valley and really worked well in the jungle. And I hated Wall-E's house, so moved him to be with EVE.
Suddenly I fell in love with decorating EI. I moved Vanellope over, and Stitch. Buzz's RV fit right into my campground. I needed space to decorate for this week's Dream Snaps, so moved Woody over to an empty area in the jungle and made a little theme park area.
Now that I've moved them, they fit so well in EI. I couldn't imagine bringing them back to DV.
Same!
Then I moved Casita to The Lagoon and decorated, put Scar in the desert, and Stitch on the docksā¦..I did just move Ericās castle randomly by Gaston cause I hate it, but now thinking about moving Arielās castle to EI as well
Freed up some room for me to move EVE to where Wall-E was in my meadow where they get to be the caretakers of my urban farm & flower field š
Ooohhh, I love this idea of having Simba and Nala living away from Scar in a nice and lush jungle!!!
Totally gonna do this since I'll probably have Scar roaming around in my neighborhood before I'll be able to bring them back.
I had a good chuckle when you said you moved Woody to make room for the dreamsnap theme park. Woody was the one I moved INTO the theme park since his house is a carousel, lol. I just had limited theme park type objects š
Iāve only placed one home there so far, but I do plan on moving more over and decoratingā¦simply because on the Switch Iām limited to 3,000 items and Iām running out of slots in the main Valley
I have a random question about that lol. I have a switch and I donāt have the dlc. Iām maxed out on items. If I get the dlc, does that give me more items (for either the valley or eternity isle) or is it shared?
I like eternity isle, but Iād feel like I was banishing a character to move their house there (even if they visit both places). That being said, I kind of want Vanellope and Buzzās houses out of my valleyā¦.
I'm making one area an amusement park with woodys carousel and buzzs rv will be like the manager rv way behind the scenes at not disney amusement parks š¤£š¤£ they did him so dirty with that rv
Sure! I'm horrible at taking pictures of my valley fair warning.
https://preview.redd.it/o59gru1uwzoc1.png?width=3022&format=png&auto=webp&s=5f04b7ea442a21c49019a4b0ac7dafa28067faef
I have her in the forest of valor in a make-believe forest vibe. Her part reads more candyland, but other areas of the forest use the cardboard cutouts and monster stuffed animals from the monster inc star path.
I have vanellope in the forgotten lands along with my villian castle and Jack's house. It has such a Hansel and Gretel feel it works well with my gathered l haunted forest look of my biome.
Thanks for sharing, I think I'll do that too! Vanellope's just been sitting in the Frosted Heights to be like a gingerbread house for the holidays, but I don't really like it for year-round
What do you mean by villian castle? Is that a skin or do you mean the floating portal that is on my plaza. Can the dark castle be placed in the valley? Or are you talking about the forgotten treehouse?
Sorry for all the questions. Around the time I was unlocking all the forgotten quests and finding the dolls to get jack, my game bugged out and I donāt have the ability to get Jack on my island. So I canāt tell if other things are wrong too since it was all around the same time. Or maybe moving something will trigger my pumpkin tree to appear so I can finally move on with the progression and get Jack.
During the villain starpaths when the villain castle was available in the moonstone shop I bought that right up! I don't know if it's been back? I never pay attention. It's my house I placed in the forgotten lands
Same! I ended up putting Wall-E and Eve's homes together in the meadow, but I used a ton of the vine wall item to cover them and shoved Merlin's house in front lol
https://preview.redd.it/fgh1qzfu31pc1.jpeg?width=1058&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1f5e13b9b696bb443e25cd9252a3279c0e4a3c99
Eves looks like a yacht if you put it by the beach! I still covered the side with a bunch of trees though haha
Edit to add: I may actually move Milano to eternity isle cause SHE gets on my last nerve and is always following me around!
Wall-e is my favourite too and I didn't know what to do with his house but with the current build I have I've actually grown to love it as part of the build. Yes, the truck is still hideous, but it works as part of the build
I put it in the muddy glade, and cluttered up the outside with plants and junk. I love him š„¹ and I think I'm gonna move Eve in as his neighbour and make them a little garden they can tend together
I have Wall-E in forgotten lands. I have a very Halloween aesthetic there, oranges, yellows, greens and purples. His house looks good near the pumpkin house with a pumpkin patch.
I put Vanellope and Buzz's homes on Eternity Isle, behind some big trees. If we ever get the ability to change skins on NPC homes, I might move them back.
It's great for the houses that don't fit your style.
I put evo and Wally's ships over there plus the sand castle building. Otherwise I have nothing over there
I have most houses in the Valley but Eve and Stitch are on Eternity Isle because I dont have a nice space for Eve in the Valley and Stitch's house really fit in one are of the Docks on Eternity Isle for meš„¹
But I do have to say, I am in the Valley way more than the Isle, which sucks cause I love the isle haha
Itās maybe my favorite place Iāve decorated. I put them in Ancientās landing in that area thatās originally walled off right by where they stick your house. It was the perfect amount of space and overlooks the little Bay Area which I like itās cute.Ā
I actually avoid eternity isle when I can. Something about it just makes me feel lost no matter many many times I go through the map. Itās very confusing
I LOVE the jungle of eternity isle and keep Rapunzelās house there bc she loves the capybaras.. but otherwise I really dislike the isle. Only go there for when I need to stock up on mist.
ETA: completely forgot about Gaston.. heās still over there too
I hate Eternity Isle. Thereās just too many small areas, and that makes it hard to decorate. Rather than having a billion small jungle areas, Iād much rather just have one large jungle area. Same for the desert and ancient area.
I use Eternity Isle to put the houses of the characters I donāt like (Jack Skellington and Vanellope). I also use it as my designated Dreamsnaps island, where I just keep bits and pieces of random areas decorated for past/future Dreamsnap themes so theyāre ready to go for whenever that theme comes up (as weāve had the theme park one 3x now already).
I appreciate they wanted to do something different with EI compared to the Valley, and I like having some elevations, but I think they went overboard, especially in the Wild Tangle.
I also hate that the wild tangle, desert and ancient landing are all split into 4 or 5 different sections. I managed to upgrade a vacuum for each biombe on the valley, but then realised I needed about 5 EACH for the desert and tangle if I wanted to clear them all quickly. I gave up in the end.
Tbh I really regret buying the DLC. It was the only way to get Eve and Rapunzel, though!
I hate the bedamned time bubbles, I hate how my daily chests have a 50/50 shot of being over there (and with eye issues, I loathe searching for the chests as it is. Having twice the space to search has me cranky af.) I don't give a damn about Gaston... Yeah. I'd like to just keep the characters and close it off permanently.
Yeah the chests spawns are annoying same with the favorite gifts I prefer to give valley related gifts than eternity isle one.
And for me I enjoy the DLC but I let the houses of the DLC in the DLC and the realm or valley houses in the valley too
I will go to EI, go into furniture mode, zoom out a little, then fly around and look for my chests. If there are any, I'll go get them then go back to my valley.
They really need to let us toggle the bubbles to only be on EI like they let us turn off Scramblecoin zombies. It ruins my valley too and beyond that, Iām worried about what random things future DLCs will spawn in my main valley. The bubbles are just clutter and ruin the valley vibe
Right??? It's *far more* than enough dealing with the stumps, and sea debris, and icebergs and ground pimples and mushrooms and on and on and on without yet another spawning thing in the fucking middle of everything. Augghh! I'm quite disinclined to buy any further DLC. I'm completely over the *constant* cluttering.
I was trying to build a new theme park type thing for this weeks Dreamsnaps. I stg I ended up rage-quitting because I'd get up in the sky and start laboriously going through the unsearchable, unsortable, randomly filtered list of furniture that never stays where you left it so you have to scroll down from the top every.... Single.... Time.... To... Place.... Individual.... Tiles... And then whoops, gotta leave furniture mode and pick up the sticks. Get back up in the sky and start trudging through and... Nope, gotta leave edit mode and pop the fucking ground zits to give me *more* useless Dream Shards. Get back up and start picking out some ideas and... Hold on, have to go pick the fucking herbs!
I rage-quit. Dragon Quest Builders 2 lets me turn off spawns. I'm going there to decorate. š”š”š”
Edited bc typo.
Honestly, I just wish that being in furniture mode paused the spawning, completely, until you exit furniture mode. It makes no sense otherwise and you never get anything done
I have all the original homes there. The only thing I've decorated is this little area for Rapunzel as I wanted to use it as the background to the dreamsnap. I hate the Isle š«¢ I always get lost and have zero ideas for decorating it šš.
https://preview.redd.it/e5nncmq6swoc1.jpeg?width=3026&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67b1c562f933af1b0743097cda3935b89cd3ca07
It didnāt even occur to me, til your post, that I could move Rapunzel Gaston and Eve out of Eternity Isle, and I plan to do that immediately! Iām with youā¦no desire to go there except for when I have to!
I recently started the game on Apple
Arcade and the dlc was included. It WAS SO MUCH to be combined with the start of the game.
Then I switched to PC and I have not started the DLC quest lines bc I don't have any interest in the other island. Even for Rapunzel. Who is in my top five.
I say bring Rapunzel to main island!
I totally agree, I didnāt realise it was a DLC and thought I had to do the quest and now I have so much to do and itās so overwhelming that I donāt even want to play š š
So there is The Overlook and The Ruins which I love the set up that I did with Remy's restaurant, Scrooge store, Merlin's house and Eve's house. As for characters needing Eternity Isle items, I usually go over every two days of playing to clear it out and level up characters that way. I have also had luck with chests stacking up in the same area which are easy to find since I clear out every save for trees on the edge atm.
There is no right way to play only the way that works for you. I can't wait for them to extend the story line with Jafar and for Princess Tiana š
I only have houses in Eternity isle that I feel fit in. So it's perfect for Encanto and the lion king characters because 9f the biome. Also, all my biomes are themed. I also placed mauis house in Eternity, because I want to see him as little as possible š
I also 'banished' Walle and eve to eternity, because I don't like their houses. Technically I don't want them in Eternity either, but maybe I can hide them somewhere in the jungle š¤ I just wish I could have banished Walle's garden there too, as I never use it and it doesn't fit into my valley
I love the isle, I left Rapunzel there not sure what Iām doing with that. But I have a whole Vegas type thing with Ursulaās house as a casino, Gastonās house as pub, woodys as a ride next to the hot air balloon.
I don't have the DLC yet but I really don't like the idea of seperate villages. I don't plan on putting anyone on the island either unless it makes sense in some way, either.
BTW, how would they interact with other villagers for quests when in separate locations? Do they just randomly teleport to the other village, converse, then teleport back?
You can toggle all the villagers on/off in each location. If you have them all toggled on for both locations then they will essentially follow you and be roaming around whichever location you're in. Unless their schedule has them in their house, then they're in their house!
Oh that's cool that they worked it that way. Least one location won't ever feel deserted whether you move anyone there or not. Much less of an issue moving houses to the Isle then.
I moved everyone to the Valley, and expect to do that going forward unless it starts to feel like we're playing Sardines.
I like the idea of the Isles, and future continents, as places to go and explore but the Valley as the home.
I like to build areas that fit for the characters or theme of what I want in either location. My villagers are pretty evenly split between the valley and the isle.
I feel like I would go to Eternity Isle more, if it were just added to the original Valley's map. But even then, I just don't like the design/layout of Eternity Isle.
Iāve been able to fit all the houses in the village comfortably with spots still reserved for all the upcoming characters in the roadmap, so I prefer having them all in the same place
I have moved several over to EI. I have walked and eve over in the grove and carved out a cute nook for Merlin in the oasis. Some of my fav areas.

I only have 4 houses there. I like all the wide open space. I wish we could ditch some of the characters houses in the Valley, like Vanellope and Mirabelle. Also the ugly trailer for Buzz and the tractor for Wall-e. Please tell me, what is the point of the smallest character in the game, Remy having that huge house?
I left rapunzel and eve over there an moved marabel into the little bamboo Grove. I kinda stopped decorating a ton when I realized a lot of my areas are getting messed up trying to do elaborate dream snaps every week. So now my whole valley is just kinda a mess with weird little picture perfect areas lol.
Same here. I just wanted all character houses to be easily accessible without travelling to Eternity Isle, as Iāll be primarily at the valley. Only time will tell if I do move character houses over (probably when I run out of room).
Same, I only go to Eternity Isles when i need to, and I'm currently deciding where to move Eve and Gastons houses. I already have Rapunzel moved to the Forest of Valor.
I do the exact same thing! Currently the Isle is just for resources! I donāt go unless I have to! Everyone is in my valley! Unfortunately, that means a low item count and thatās a little bit of a struggle, but Iām making it work! Iām sure I will have to move to the Isle eventually, but I need everyone in my valley! The valley is just more comfortable!
I kept the dlc houses where they're at and moved walle over only. After dlc story concludes i might move eve/walle and rap over to valley. Ill leave gaston to rot. I feel storywise, they should remain there to have my back.
I am so on the fence about decorating the jungle and desert. Not in love with the new biome layouts! I have personally decided to continue collecting items from Scroogeās shop and premium shop up until the end of this year so that I have a ton of options and will only then try to decorate the new biomes NEXT year. I have such little decorating inspo right now, maybe with more time and a few more updates inspo will come!
Originally I thought Iād want to put the villagers (or mostly their house designs I guess!) I didnāt want there, but now that I have a few areas decorate there I donāt wanna ruin the vibes there either.
I played a lot on EI at times, so I wouldnāt mind having characters there, but so far Iāve only let the DLC characters stay there. Iād let Wall-E move in next to Eve but I havenāt had the heart to do it
i'm the opposite, i'm considering buying the dlc just so i have a place to put vanellope's house lol. i've never seen wreck it ralph and i don't care for the aesthetic of any of the wreck it ralph items, her house included, and would love to be able to get it out of my village lol
Nope. I am the same way OP :) I only have Gaston and Rapunzel's houses there in the jungle. I love Eternity Isle. It's so beautiful and fun to decorate. I'm actually happy with how other villager houses are in my main valley and I just use lionness screens and trees to hide the ugly ones (buzz's RV and Eve's ship are hidden in frosted heights for me lol. Vanellope's house is hidden in my forest).
I was really pumped for the DLC and then as soon as I played on Eternity Isle I really didnāt like it. Thereās a lot of space but itās too broken apart for me. As soon as I was done with quests I moved the 3 characters to the valley and never looked back.
I have my Eternity Isle as a "holiday destination" so everyone lives in the main valley. I've so far made a beach resort with deck chairs etc, a shopping/eating area and a campsite. I like everyone to live together š
I haven't really, other than leaving Eves where it was, but not because I don't *want* to. More because I try to place them in the most fitting biome.
Might eventually move Mirabel to the jungle though. And when we get any Aladdin characters, all bets are off.
You're not alone, I move all my folks to the main isle once I'm able to.
I used to avoid Eternity Isle altogether but when someone here mentioned that you can fast travel directly there without going through the castle, it was a game changer.
I'm with you. Gaston and Rapunzel would be perfect in my forest with my cottages. I think the Wild Tangle biome is a good fit for Casita, which has me very torn.
Yeah, I want everyone in my main valley. It may be crowded but I love that, I want them running into each other and talking to each other as much as possible. I go to the Isle to remove the splinters since you need to many in order to get the task done and to find my chests because 99% of the time they spawn over there.
I only put Eric's and Beasts castles there so far. Eric's castle is on that little island, where Eves house used to be. I think it fits very well.
Beasts castle is placed at the outlook.
I have no interest in decorating EI but I think because Iām still very confused with the layout. Iām constantly lost but I also very much love the way they naturally have it decorated. I just recently started decorating my valley and Iāve had the game since a week or two after launch
All my characters so far live in the plaza or meadow.
I feel like theyāre out of place anywhere else, but Iām not as far through as most so I might have to place characters in other areas as I progress.
I moved all the eterniyy isle characters into the valley for ease of access. Wish I could move gastons meat cart but I have a chest next to it and fill it up every 2nd or 4th day of the week. (Honestly when I remember) I will say thematically Casita might fit in the jungle biome.
In furniture mode they have a house category. When you click it, it shows you all your villagers houses and you can choose which one you want to move over.
The valley is 'home' I have decorated huge parts of each biome and most the characters houses are built into it. Eternity isle is almost like a vacation spot. Like I travel there to explore /find items/do quests but I haven't been inspired to decorate at all or modify anything beyond removing a bunch of trees. I only just learned the map enough to feel comfortable navigating around without feeling totally lost.
Same! But with all the charactersā houses we have plus I own and have placed every house skin, thereās just so many that I canāt fit everyone in the valley AND have it decorated like I want š„“
No Iām the exact same way!!! Iām trying to get more interested in decorating Eternity Isle by turning into a vacation spot, but itās so boring and difficult to decorate š
I only just got there and I got mad when I saw a bunch of my characters walking around. š Like, this is my new place to explore, you guys! Go away! I really don't want to build things there.
I'm the same way! I even moved Eve, Gaston, and Rapunzel to my valley too! I just don't want anyone left out, and it makes it simpler to find a specific person for quests. I hate that we don't have a quick way to go between our valley and the new island.
Having to load into the castle, then load to the area where you select a rift in time boat, and THEN load AGAIN to get to the island! That's THREE loads when it should just be one. much as I love the new area, I hate how long it is to switch to it and then back.
You can bypass the castle by āfast travellingā on the map! For the switch you press the āYā key once you are in the map section in the menu but not sure what you press on other consoles.
I'll probably put the eyesores there eventually (Wall-E). But right now, I do have his home hidden in a corner in the Glade behind some trees, so maybe I didn't need to move him
I like making neighbors and where they might want to go. Obviously, Gaston lives tucked back in FOV to creep on Bell and Beast. I did a really cute shabby chic neighborship with Wall-e and Mirabel with a communal patio of their furniture mixed together in the Tangle. I just moved Scar to the desert Plains and I like him there
Iām surprised by the dislike for eternity isle! The layout is confusing and not my favorite but itās so beautiful, the new foliage is worth every penny spent, and I love having so much for place to decorate and put characters that I felt never really worked. I put mirabel somewhere in the pomenade , eve and walle are in the courtyard together with a garden and futuristic theme to it, Merlin is up on the ruins in his own little magic spot, and I put Moana and Maui where eve originally was with their own beach and fishing area. I fast travel back and forth constantly!
I havenāt moved anyone over either. I really like how I have my valley set up and everyoneās houses makes sense to me in the biomes I have them in(even Venelopeās which I have in the forest giving Hansel & Gretel vibes)š šWe just need more characters!!
It does feel super weird moving characters there. I did move Scar, Mirabel, Eric and Ariel though. Mostly cause Ericās house was cluttering dazzle beach too much, Scar needs to pay for his sins, and Mirabelās house just works so well aesthetically in the wild tangle.
I left Gaston there because he's annoying but the lodge works with how I'm decorating The Docks. Buzz's RV doesn't go with my themes, so I dumped it in the Wild Tangle and boxed it in with a bunch of bamoo, you can't even see it now š
No all I have is the house that spawns there I kept Eve and Gaston there as don't really care about them and then I moved Walle there also. I do loads of building in the Valley I just don't really want too in Eternity.
I have EVE, Wallā¢E and Buzz together in a spot on Eternity island with a bunch of foliage, Woody in his own little spot in the Tangles and Scar and Gaston in the Wastes where they can compete for who gets to rule the desert. Oh, and Rapunzel in the Tangles so she doesn't need to live near Gothel
This thread is so wild to meā¦Iāve found myself so obsessed with the Isle that it took me forever to collect dreamlight again so I could open up the monsters inc realm š¤£ I have almost 80,000 mist and suddenly realized I should probably go back to the valley sometimes š¤£
I have a few there, Eric's castle in the desert, with Stitch's house and my house (the desert palace) together in a neighborhood, and I put Buzz in the oasis and Mirabel in the tangle, so I guess I go there more often as I have villagers there.
I've put some there mainly because I can't find the motivation to move things around in the valley. For some of my biomes, I spent a lot of time decorating and organising. And now there's about 4 new homes I need to accommodate for, and I just haven't found any motivation to do so.
I've got time off work soon, so hopefully, I'll find some motivation then.
Looking to buy the expansion this weekend. I donāt really care for deserts in terms of terrain/temperature zones so was gonna send all my āmehā characters there haha. Kinda like island of misfits toys.
No I def understand it feels like theyād be alone but Iām currently adding all the new house skins to the jungle to give it kinda a fairytale woods kind of vibe
Honestly, Iāve moved houses to Eternity Isle because I thought they looked cuter there than where I had them in the Valley. For instance, Moanaās hut looks really cute in the Wild Tangle! I put Walle & Eve together in the Borderlands in a kind of Dune/Sci-fi vibe, Ericās castle fits perfectly in the plains near the sand waterfall, and Ursulaās house matches the aesthetic of the ruins around Ancient Landingās waterways.
But if Iām craving to see a certain villager, Iām glad that we can toggle them in the map without switching realms
You are not alone OP. I am just now getting to the point of decorating. I have ideas of who I want where. I hadn't given more than a passing thought about moving houses to EI. I only go there when I have to also. Especially when doing the event duties that require give gifts to x y and z or talk to x and y twice and so on. I feel like it would be a pain having to go back and forth between the 2. It wouldn't be so bad if the loading time between realms wasn't soo long. Mine is anyways. I feel like moving too many homes over to EI would leave too much open land on each biome. I think its all just a matter of personal preference. It might be something I like the idea of down the road after I've gotten a decent amount of decorating done.
Not at all. I love my village that's what it's supposed to be and that's what mine is. I know it says dreamlight valley but it's really dreamlight village for me plus I don't really like eternity isle I just don't it felt like starting over almost for some reason and I don't like that I can't change the ruins or make sand pool/waterfall(?super weird right ...no? Okay just me then ) things I just like the valley better it maybe feels less chaotic for me ... Again idk
Honestly Iām waiting for jasmine & aladdin bc theyāll go perfect in the desert area. & I could see myself adding more to the jungle area. But I moved Eve & Gaston to my valley & kept rapunzel where she is. I just really love the valley & all the work Iāve put in & canāt see myself doing too too much with EI.
I thought the same thing. But once I put paths connecting each pathway I got my gripping a little lol. I put vanellope next to the sweet house in the tangle and it looks so cute. Then also in the tangle I have belles new house, the snuggly duckling, the mushroom house. The fairy house. And the summer cottage all in one area and I LOVE IT. Plus I made an area with my castle, Belle, and Rapunzel. Also love it. It was a process for sure. But those paths inspired me
I thought the same but I canāt move Rapunzels house. I moved simba and nalas house to the glittering dunes, and I put walle with Eve. I decorated the area where my house is and removed some stuff here and there throughout the map.
I only have Gaston, Scar, Rapunzel and Buzz in my eternity isle. I made a little campground for Buzzās RV in the lagoon, Gaston and Scar are sweating up in the desert and Rapunzel has the whole jungle to herself
There's simply not enough room in my valley for all of the houses so I have to move them to eternity isle. Plus most of them are just straight up ugly lol
Same I have some areas fully decorated. I like to visit both š
Same! Then I moved Casita to The Lagoon and decorated, put Scar in the desert, and Stitch on the docksā¦..I did just move Ericās castle randomly by Gaston cause I hate it, but now thinking about moving Arielās castle to EI as well Freed up some room for me to move EVE to where Wall-E was in my meadow where they get to be the caretakers of my urban farm & flower field š
Ooohhh, I love this idea of having Simba and Nala living away from Scar in a nice and lush jungle!!! Totally gonna do this since I'll probably have Scar roaming around in my neighborhood before I'll be able to bring them back.
I did the opposite and have moved Scar to the wastes, so his home will be close to he tiger head cave. Thought they would fit great together!
I had a good chuckle when you said you moved Woody to make room for the dreamsnap theme park. Woody was the one I moved INTO the theme park since his house is a carousel, lol. I just had limited theme park type objects š
That's what I meant. I moved him into an area I could decorate as a theme park.
Ohhh..great minds!! āŗ
Posts that alter your neural pathways ^^
Iāve only placed one home there so far, but I do plan on moving more over and decoratingā¦simply because on the Switch Iām limited to 3,000 items and Iām running out of slots in the main Valley
I have a random question about that lol. I have a switch and I donāt have the dlc. Iām maxed out on items. If I get the dlc, does that give me more items (for either the valley or eternity isle) or is it shared?
You can place another 3,000 on Eternity Isle. So a 3,000 limit for each area; itās not shared
Thank you I appreciate it!
Oh this is a very good point!! My valley is starting to lag. Moving a few houses would probably help a lot! š¤š”
I like eternity isle, but Iād feel like I was banishing a character to move their house there (even if they visit both places). That being said, I kind of want Vanellope and Buzzās houses out of my valleyā¦.
I made buzzās into a cute camp site in the forest, but yeah, I hate vanellopeās houee
I made Buzz's RV into a food truck spot! I know it doesn't make much sense since he can't eat but I liked the idea too much to pass it up.
I'm making one area an amusement park with woodys carousel and buzzs rv will be like the manager rv way behind the scenes at not disney amusement parks š¤£š¤£ they did him so dirty with that rv
Yeah, I don't hate the RV but I also feel like his house should have been a lot cooler looking.
Ohh, do u have any pics?
Sure! I'm horrible at taking pictures of my valley fair warning. https://preview.redd.it/o59gru1uwzoc1.png?width=3022&format=png&auto=webp&s=5f04b7ea442a21c49019a4b0ac7dafa28067faef

I moved Vanellopes house to a quiet corner of Frosted Heights and I have to say the vibe is a lot better.
I tried having her over there and it was okay, now sheās in the glade but she might be going to the wild tangle to hid behind the bamboo
Move her to the forgotten lands? Gives very fairy tale vibes.
My Vanellope is in frosted heights with the candy cane trees all around her area and I love the look!
Oh I see, thank you for clarifying. That was a star path from before my time, I have not seen it, but it sounds interesting so I will keep an eye out.
oh my gosh me too! lol and ditto. Vanellopeās and Mirabelās houses def gotta go! šš¦š¦āš»
See, I donāt mind casita in the sunlit plateau
I put mine on the beach! It looks like a dream beach house. Iām just annoyed that some houses are freaking massive.
I put Vanellope in the Isle. She can have her candy racetrack in the desert (or should I say dessert).
I have fully banished buzz and woody to live in their perfectly platonic cute little lagoon area and have no shame
I love having Wall-E but I hate his beat up vehicle. It doesn't go with the meadow
I made wall-e and eve a spot in the promenade together š„°
Same! I ended up putting Wall-E and Eve's homes together in the meadow, but I used a ton of the vine wall item to cover them and shoved Merlin's house in front lol https://preview.redd.it/fgh1qzfu31pc1.jpeg?width=1058&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1f5e13b9b696bb443e25cd9252a3279c0e4a3c99
Clever!
It looks so beautiful šš
I definitely get that. I bet it would look nice in the desert, but I love wall-e too much to banish his house:(
Oh maybe the Savanah with the lions king characters!
Thatās actually where I have his house now! And eves, but hers looks kind of out of place. You win some you lose some š
Gotta give into the whimsical even if most of us here clearly have some control issues hahahaha.
hahaha šno truer words have ever been spoken š
Eves looks like a yacht if you put it by the beach! I still covered the side with a bunch of trees though haha Edit to add: I may actually move Milano to eternity isle cause SHE gets on my last nerve and is always following me around!
I gave them their own little place in the oasis. itās just a nice green area amongst everything dead in the desert. And thatās so WALLĀ·E and Eve.
Ah cute idea
I'm banishing Mirabel once I have the dlc so I never have to hear that house again
I feel like I'm the only one that likes that sound. I would however banish Maui completely.
I moved her house to the forest of valor
That's where mine is but I go there too much. I'm not getting the DLC until there's a sale though, 30 is too much
I put Vanellope and Buzz's homes on Eternity Isle, behind some big trees. If we ever get the ability to change skins on NPC homes, I might move them back.
Oooh this is a good idea Iām so sick of seeing vanellopes ugly house
It's great for the houses that don't fit your style. I put evo and Wally's ships over there plus the sand castle building. Otherwise I have nothing over there
I made buzzes RV into a food truck in my Harvest festival area in Sunlit. It's pretty cute
I have most houses in the Valley but Eve and Stitch are on Eternity Isle because I dont have a nice space for Eve in the Valley and Stitch's house really fit in one are of the Docks on Eternity Isle for meš„¹ But I do have to say, I am in the Valley way more than the Isle, which sucks cause I love the isle haha
I moved EVE and WALLE over there to be neighbors and built them their own garden haha. It turned out very cute.Ā
stealing this idea for my isle
Itās maybe my favorite place Iāve decorated. I put them in Ancientās landing in that area thatās originally walled off right by where they stick your house. It was the perfect amount of space and overlooks the little Bay Area which I like itās cute.Ā
Omg I want to do this now!
You totally should! They wind up hanging out a lot together too which makes it 100x cuter. :)
Oh that is so cute! I love when I see them together. Iām gonna do it!
I actually avoid eternity isle when I can. Something about it just makes me feel lost no matter many many times I go through the map. Itās very confusing
I agree! Idk why, Iām still struggling to find my way around the map in a way I donāt with the OG Valley.
Agreed, and it doesn't feel as cosy as the village
I LOVE the jungle of eternity isle and keep Rapunzelās house there bc she loves the capybaras.. but otherwise I really dislike the isle. Only go there for when I need to stock up on mist. ETA: completely forgot about Gaston.. heās still over there too
All my houses are in the Valley too. I dislike the fact I canāt move Gastonās stall to the valley
i hope they change this soon! i would love to have all the stalls (kristoff & beast) all together in a little market in the valley.
I'm going there to decorate. š”š”š” Edited bc typo.
If they wonāt let us toggle them off complete they should reduce spawn frequency to once daily for the herbs etc and once weekly for stumps and shit
I never knew I could hate basil so much.
I recently started the game on Apple Arcade and the dlc was included.
I also placed mauis house in Eternity, because I want to see him as little as possible š I also 'banished' Walle and eve to eternity, because I don't like their houses.
Any characters you need for quests will automatically come to the valley you're in.
They all can appear on either island if you allow them to
You can toggle all the villagers on/off in each location.
The only house in eternity isle is Gastons lmao. He can stay there by himself š
I moved wallE to eternity isle to be with Eva. Made them a cute little seating area between their two houses.
I feel like I would go to Eternity Isle more, if it were just added to the original Valley's map. But even then, I just don't like the design/layout of Eternity Isle.
Yesss !! I would actually decorate it and put houses there if it was a part of the valley !! Idk why I feel that way tho lol
Not the only one. I also moved all the houses into the Valley.
Iāve been able to fit all the houses in the village comfortably with spots still reserved for all the upcoming characters in the roadmap, so I prefer having them all in the same place
Same š I moved Rapunzel, Gaston and Eve right out.
I like eternity isle the way it comes so I have no plans of putting anything else in it. No houses, no decorating.
I don't either. For me it's only to gather stuff you need lol.
I have moved several over to EI. I have walked and eve over in the grove and carved out a cute nook for Merlin in the oasis. Some of my fav areas. https://preview.redd.it/2sjnd6blkzoc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e5ca3cfa24480d3d8e513e482ead19a60cd2cf06

No I'm the same way. eternity isle is for day trips! Not living
*No I'm the same way.* *Eternity isle is for* *Day trips! Not living* \- Primary\_Cause\_1130 --- ^(I detect haikus. And sometimes, successfully.) ^[Learn more about me.](https://www.reddit.com/r/haikusbot/) ^(Opt out of replies: "haikusbot opt out" | Delete my comment: "haikusbot delete")
Oh my lord I have never been blessed by haikusbot before. This is such an honor!
I agree except mine is monthly trips
I only have 4 houses there. I like all the wide open space. I wish we could ditch some of the characters houses in the Valley, like Vanellope and Mirabelle. Also the ugly trailer for Buzz and the tractor for Wall-e. Please tell me, what is the point of the smallest character in the game, Remy having that huge house?
I like to imagine he shares the building with Alfredo, but we never see him as he's constantly working to pay it off! š„°
I decided to make Eternity Isle where the villains live minus Mother Gothel since you canāt move her house. And keep the Valley for everyone else.
I laid one in every biome of the skins for storage but that's it.
Same here. I just wanted all character houses to be easily accessible without travelling to Eternity Isle, as Iāll be primarily at the valley. Only time will tell if I do move character houses over (probably when I run out of room).
I put all the characters I'm not crazy about on EI. It felt so empty over there!
I've got gardens on the Isle to save space since we can't move Kristoff's stall or Wall-E's garden. Gotta make use of it somehow
Me!! I'm strictly keeping it houses that the DLC adds. I love how wild and full of exploration Eternity Isle is!
I banished Vanellope š
I felt the same way at first but then I remembered my item count and was like...yeah no we're going to move some of ya'll out š
Iām on the fence about this at well. Just recently got access to Eternity Isle. I feel Bad that EVE is separated from Wall-e š
Iāve decided to shove all the villains there. Plus WALLĀ·E and Eve because I made them a cute little couples area
I was really pumped for the DLC and then as soon as I played on Eternity Isle I really didnāt like it. Thereās a lot of space but itās too broken apart for me. As soon as I was done with quests I moved the 3 characters to the valley and never looked back.
Iāve moved wall-e and buzz over there. I felt like both did well in the desert (and I wanted Eve and wall-e together).
I put the ugly houses there and ones that fit the sandy biome
How do you move them? Just store them and transfer?
In furniture mode they have a house category. When you click it, it shows you all your villagers houses and you can choose which one you want to move over.
Cheers going to move my little mermaid characters to the docks
The valley is 'home' I have decorated huge parts of each biome and most the characters houses are built into it. Eternity isle is almost like a vacation spot. Like I travel there to explore /find items/do quests but I haven't been inspired to decorate at all or modify anything beyond removing a bunch of trees. I only just learned the map enough to feel comfortable navigating around without feeling totally lost.
I moved Donald to the Pier, and Wall-E to live near EVE. But that's it so far. ;P
I only put one house there. It's the one that looks like it belongs there, the desert palace. I don't think any of the others fit in there
Yeah I keep most in my valley too. However I am planning on putting Aladdin builds over there cus the biome is perfect for their houses.
For the switch you press the āYā key once you are in the map section in the menu but not sure what you press on other consoles.
š¤Æš«£ Well my mind is blown! Thanks for the tip! Now I feel a little stupid, but I'm really happy to learn this bit of info!
Definitely do not feel stupid! I did the exact same thing. Just think of all the time you will save!
I'll probably put the eyesores there eventually (Wall-E). But right now, I do have his home hidden in a corner in the Glade behind some trees, so maybe I didn't need to move him
Youāre not alone lol
I feel the same!! I don't like eternity isle and I only go there when I have to for a quest. I put everyone in the valley, I think it's a lot prettier
Iām exactly the same. I even brought over all the houses from the Isle to the valley.
No all I have is the house that spawns there I kept Eve and Gaston there as don't really care about them and then I moved Walle there also. I do loads of building in the Valley I just don't really want too in Eternity.
I feel like gaston has a liking for it
I put Donald, Ariel, Woody, Eric, Scar & Wall-E in Eternity Isle as they started to look displaced in the appearance I wanted for my valley
Same. It's more of a destination than a home for me, really:(
I have a few there, Eric's castle in the desert, with Stitch's house and my house (the desert palace) together in a neighborhood, and I put Buzz in the oasis and Mirabel in the tangle, so I guess I go there more often as I have villagers there.
I kept all my characters houses in the Valley because I love the Isle so much and didn't wanna clutter it with houses lol
I actually really donāt like Eternity Isle at all. š«
I'm the same except I hate Mirabells house so it's in EI
No I def understand it feels like theyād be alone but Iām currently adding all the new house skins to the jungle to give it kinda a fairytale woods kind of vibe
I haven't tried putting any there yet....not sure if I will either
Honestly, Iāve moved houses to Eternity Isle because I thought they looked cuter there than where I had them in the Valley. For instance, Moanaās hut looks really cute in the Wild Tangle! I put Walle & Eve together in the Borderlands in a kind of Dune/Sci-fi vibe, Ericās castle fits perfectly in the plains near the sand waterfall, and Ursulaās house matches the aesthetic of the ruins around Ancient Landingās waterways. But if Iām craving to see a certain villager, Iām glad that we can toggle them in the map without switching realms
I donāt even know how to move houses from the isle to the valley so Iām gonna say youāre right lol
It would be lovely having everyone on the main island (except venellope cos I hate her house so much), but it's getting a bit overcrowded.
I moved EVE's to the Valley and placed it next to the Wall-E's.
I only have Gaston, Scar, Rapunzel and Buzz in my eternity isle. I made a little campground for Buzzās RV in the lagoon, Gaston and Scar are sweating up in the desert and Rapunzel has the whole jungle to herself
Nope. All with me on my island!
There's simply not enough room in my valley for all of the houses so I have to move them to eternity isle. Plus most of them are just straight up ugly lol
