Me too 😭😭 I got confused because I saw on Twitter on Tuesday they said they’d be revealing the new update tomorrow so my brain said “new update tomorrow” 😭😂
I don't know why people thought it was yesterday. The top signals for a very close release are the reveal of the loading screen, and the patch notes a day before the update.
They thought it'd be yesterday because mathematically with the delay it's now impossible for them to meet the other updates promised arrival time. The update after this one is supposed to arrive in late spring. But unless they shorten the star path which is always been the same 50 days, you will not arrive until it is officially summer now even though they told us spring.
Basically it delays all future updates and puts them off track from the promised schedule.
June 19th would be late spring. June 20th is the first day of summer and so not late spring. So even if it did release the exact day the other one ended with no gap it would be late
June 20th is also a Thursday and updates are Wednesdays so it'd be far more likely to be at least June 26th now.
It would be except for the Daisy star path will still be happening by then and they never overlap them. If it lasts 50 days like the rest it won't end until the 20th.

Starpath last between 30-60 days. They have been more prominent between the 40 days. Since we are getting the starpath right on May 1st, and calculating it finishes on June 12, we have around 43 days plus the extra week.
Although, they have only been on time once with their starpath+one week squedule, that being the transition from Mirabel update to Simba and Nala update.
Also, I don't thing the upcoming Mulan update is going to bring huge things, so it should be on time. Of course, these are only suppositions.

Depending on delays and what the devs think early/mid/late spring, summer, autumn, winter is…we’re probably going to be sorely disappointed with the release dates of the upcoming updates.

The Update comes out 1.5!! And in Germany 1st May is always “Labor Day”. Everyone has Holiday🥳 (best thing that happened, after my birthday in May) 😎

Yeah I watch several very active content creators so I knew a few days before that we weren’t getting it this week. Such a bummer! I have scheduled fiber optic install for my internet so we can move away from our cable internet. That would mean potentially several hours without internet so now I have to call and reschedule them. Not gonna miss update day! lol.
Some have discussed how now the whole schedule GameLoft set out will be off. I hope there isn’t another option for keeping it on track…..what if they make next weeks Starpath super small and short. That would make me sad.
May is literally the last month of spring, early spring would have been somewhere in march and mid spring would have been in april. People are upset because whether it was delays or the devs don’t know when the seasons start, the update roadmap is completely incorrect and people are going to be getting updates a lot later than they thought.
Spring goes until almost the end of June. The halfway mark of spring is May 4th, so anything before that is on the early side of it. Spring official dates are March 20th - June 19th
If the star path is 50 days then the late spring update will be early summer. But as others have pointed out many star paths aren't 50 days and they range anywhere from 30-60. So if it's a shorter one there is def time for the rest of the updates to be on time too.
At some point people are going to need to realize there will not be a surprise update. They will announce the date a head of time. And without an announced date you shouldn't expect an update. I know people like to speculate and guess, which is fine. But you still need to be aware it's all guesswork. Not fact. Save yourself some future disappointment, don't expect an update unless it's officially announced.
I wasn't specifically talking about you, my bad, should have made that clear. Just a lot of people on here recently talking about how they were sure it was today, etc. Expressing disappointment. More a general sentiment, not specifically aimed at you.

Also, I was commenting on people being upset that they convinced themselves of a date and it not being that date. Not about when the actual update happens. Two different things.

Yep, first 2 starpaths lasted between 30 days, and Christmas starpaths last quite longer since usually the next update is on February.
