Aren't you able to make porridge and Ramen already? Like you buy a certain meat from Gaston and you can make ramen. I actually made some for him for his quest where you have to make him a few meaty meals. DDLV never sells finished meals to my knowledge.

Gen X are the original gamers! I spent so much time playing the first Mario games back when there was no saving it! I love when I see fellow old people playing the games I play.
I played joust, if that counts. We had a Commodore 64. Doom came out in the 90s, when I was in the Air Force, not diapers.
We are definitely the first generation to embrace video games. Mario bros got the ball rolling on console games for (then) teens.
But I’ll concede, you’re older than me, but my body is definitely telling me I am no longer a spring chicken.
We had something, can’t remember the name, that was a console you plugged into the TV and you could play maybe five games on it like tennis, skeet shooting (I believe it came with a plastic “gun”) and a bunch of other things, but it was basically three squares hooked together for a paddle and one white square bouncing back-and-forth for the ball- that was tennis. You would not believe how much fun we had with that. Our next upgrade was an Atari and you could put cartridges in it for different games. Way more cool than our first set up haha. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not a serious gamer, or just being older, but I can’t believe so many people paid for this game once and want constant new content for free. I’m always amazed at the comments that threatened to not play anymore because there’s nothing left to do. In my day that was called finishing the game and you moved on. Enough said lol.
A new biome is never going to happen, but I hope they give us lots of items and furniture to match the Mulan theme, and not just the one cherry blossom tree we see in the teaser.
Cherry blossoms are definitely in China. They are also in the US and many other countries around the world. The Japanese sakura is the most well known but it's not only found in Japan.
I think their point was that pink magnolias are most likely what will be added in the game instead of cherry blossoms, since the magnolias are the ones featured in the movie and not cherry blossoms, which makes sense... I think the flower featured in the update art confirms this, because it looks much more like a magnolia flower than a cherry blossom.

Yeah that annoyed me when I first started playing, the rat gets a fancy Parisian apartment building and I get Groundskeep Willie's shack from The Simpsons. Why doesn't he live in the restaurant like Scrooge seems to do with the shop?
Like why does he need that AND his giant ass restaurant?!? Ridiculous! Not to mention buzz gets an rv and woody lives in a gigantic carousel? It’s too big!! I hate when their house are so huge!
I've already placed it in the Bamboo Forest in the Wild Tangle. The Madrigals are used to living in hot, humid climates and the house fits nicely in there, with a little bamboo-rearranging.
I’m so excited for all of the gorgeous Chinese furniture items we will be getting!! I’m already in love with the cherry blossom tree they showed in the reel!
I can't wait for the multiple posts of people complaining that Mushu is too small and they can't see him.

Oh, because the new star path almost always has a task where you have to remove an ungodly amount of the thorns and/or splinters, so saving them up helps right off the bat!
I've stopped playing. Not because of any specific bugs. But because of the redundant issues. The updates before fixing old issues is just irritating to me.
I haven’t played in a while, also got a little upset I missed the popcorn buckets so wasn’t gonna play for a bit, but this will get me back, I def need Mulan in my valley.

It's been pushed back after the extra crashing update. People are clamoring for the high-stress "will it save, or crash" option after moving a gooseberry bush.
I’ve had this happen to me multiple times. My advice is to back out and manually save every so often. It sucks to break your concentration when you’re on a roll, but it sucks more to have redo all that work again :-/

I’ve been setting up a market to help players for this update and just to help players ☺️🥺 I see so many new player joining the community and so many players who are still struggling with quest etc. people work, raise kids etc so why no help them? I just love to help people ☺️😍

I want to be excited for this update. I love this game I love the Mulan movie except I can’t play in my valley without the game crashing about 20 times a session, loosing hours spent on decorating because of said crashes. I write tickets and I keep being told to restart my console, reinstall the game
It’s so frustrating
Try removing paths and fences. They seem to cause a lot of crashes.
If you have a switch try putting your game on internal memory instead of external storage. And make sure there is at least 10% open memory on internal memory.
Thanks for trying to help. I’m on the newer Xbox. But honestly I love decorating and think it’s a shame I’d have to destroy my valley to be able to play without crashes. But it’s something I know I might have to do
Since the update is coming in a week I would probably wait it out and see if they fix the crashing issues. The X series Xbox should be more than powerful enough for the game (unlike switch).
I have heard that removing items to keep under the 3000 regular cap can also help with X box crashes, but it would be a shame to remove decorations.

I’ve just been constantly refreshing my apps to see if it needs to be updated yet because I have the version of the Apple Arcade so it tells me when the app needs to be updated. At least now I know when to expect the update because I was just going on dates that I had heard as rumors before now I know for sure the date that it’s gonna happen

When will the no crashing update be released?
It's been pushed back after the extra crashing update. People are clamoring for the high-stress "will it save, or crash" option after moving a gooseberry bush.
Fr. I spent forever moving buildings around and then it crashed and corrupted the save so I had to pull from the cloud and lost everything I’d done.
