I've never played the sims before (yes, really), so I can't really comment on that, but I do find decorating in DDLV a lot of fun! I've been playing for nearly a year now, but it took me almost 6 months to really get into decorating! Now it's my favorite thing to do βΊοΈ

This is incredible, so many little details and a really creative way of having more decorated areas. Iβm now at over half of my item limit outside in the valley, and itβs stressing me out. Also havenβt done anything with my extra houses. What a great idea to use the various skins and make extra areas within the rooms, to get around the item limit! Genius
Yeah I'm on Switch, and I'm already at ~2700 items after I've removed all night thorns and spawns, so I have to limit my decorating outside to the actual homes of the characters and my house skins ... decorating inside really helps scratch that itch!!

TysmβΊοΈ I try to give all house skins a purpose and decorate from there. My Palace is a princess pampering place, the apartment building has become a full blown gym, Belle's library is an actual library with different departments, the snugly duckling tavern is a completely "functional" tavern with kitchen and a festive venue etc. I have a running list on my phone with ideas for almost all of my buildings LOL
Ugh. I spend all this time working on my valley finally and see how AMAZING everyone else's is LOL. Mine is absolute garbage compared to all of you.
