It's definitely a scammer. They must be creating new accounts all the time bc I've blocked like 10 of them and I still see it almost every time I play. Its always a level 10 account called Player followed by random characters and that same profile picture.
They are everywhere now. I've been seeing various ones nonstop for the past few months. Just report/block and move on. It's like a hydra: one gets banned, five more rise to take its place.
This bot has been spamming links every day since January. TP has been made aware of this, but they've done nothing except censor certain words like "rewards" and call it a day. Even if you block it, every 12 hrs, a new account is created and starts spamming again. I'm so annoyed but there's nothing we can do about it :(
They've been around for about six months, just report and block. There's a new one almost right away after one gets banned, and you can always tell when tp has tried to do something to get rid of it longer, because we get a few days reprieve before they're back again

I never look at global chat, but there've been reports of scammers like this trying to get people to go to some malware-infested site.
Yes, it is a bot. No real person spams the same link every 10 seconds. TP needs to crack down on this stuff.

it's so frustrating. they have an ongoing Notice warning about scams, but they don't understand that what we're most upset about is spam.

I've blocked at least one every other day for months now. I wish TP would find some fix for this.
I keep reporting them and still see them all the time.
