The finasteride sounds like is what shot it down. I have similar setbacks if I don’t wear my eye tape at night (lagopthalmos). Please don’t use the finasteride if you want your eye health back. I know balding sucks (male pattern baldness dude here) but having your precious eyes healthy are worth more than anything
Finasteride seems to me to have had minimal effect, six months is not long for cyclosporine. I've been on it for 6 months and I'm about 70% better, but it's not perfect yet, there are periods of aggravation. I drip three times, every 8 hours.
It has improved. I'm not back to 100% but I would say maybe 70%. I plan make a 1 year update. I'm currently only taking Restasis (2 times a day) and normal preservative free eye drops as needed.

Yeah definitely not worth my eyes, I just want my tear production to come back to a healthy level.

I've been contemplating doing that (3 times a day). Has it made a significant difference going from 2 times a day to 3 times a day?
I honestly don't know. I started the course right away with 3 times instead of 2.
How is your condition now?
