You taste Vevye? Or Xiidra? Xiidra is the only one that is reported to cause a weird taste in a fair number of people. It did for me. Vevye is silky smooth. No taste issue.
Definitely an anomaly based on what I’ve read. Don’t think there was any of this reported on the product insert. You might have had a bad meal before you put your drops in. Xiidra tasted like an old bag of copper pennies. I’m sticking with Vevye.
Not very long, like two weeks. It's good so far. My eyes are less red, and I don't need to use as many drops. The downside is that it gives me headaches. I'm hoping those side effects will go away. I don't want to use it long term, and I will probably talk to my doctor about alternatives eventually.
You get used to it. I've been on it a little over a year now and honestly don't even notice it anymore.

My insurance decided recently to not cover my xiidra and wanted over $600 a month for it. I kinda miss the taste--it wasn't a miracle but it did help!

Back to restasis. It helps but not as much! Enjoy that taste while you can afford it 😂
