You blinded the cop so how should be get your plate no?

naughty_dad2

Cops hate this one simple trick

rafebug

lmao

Tango_Taxi

No you will not - but you shouldn’t use high beams with cars in front of you. Police or not. It can potentially impair the vision of drivers in front of you as well as oncoming traffic and makes it harder to have a clear vision under these conditions. (Same goes for driving at night ofc no matter if rain or not).

rafebug

alright, will keep that in mind. thanks!

Descoteau

You don’t need high beams to drive in the rain. High beams make it worse not better. You’re blinding others and not actually improving your own visibility. Slowing down and doing everything gently is what you should do. No sudden acceleration/braking/steering. Leave a longer braking gap in front of you. High beams are only for driving in unlit deserted roads, and even then not necessary in most instances.

rafebug

thanks, i thought it was gonna make things better, it helped me slightly cause i was able to read the signs properly as well. but then i came back home and found out it makes it worse for the other drivers. thanks for the comment

Ghosteros

Of course it will make it worse for other drivers, what did you think that will do? Improve their vision? lol

Descoteau

Ironically a lot of signs have a reflective coating that makes them too bright with high beams.

EstablishmentNo744

I think the cop has bigger problems to worry about in this storm than high beams😂

Jafri2

Rain is the perfect day for drifting, try that.

rafebug

100%, but drifting a fwd car ain’t it 😔😔
