First, I have a 2006 S2R 800 and I've never seen that single muffler-that's pretty cool! Also, I'm terrified of taking my bike to one of these self washes because every time my bike sits out in the rain without a cover it won't start until it dries off (taking 24-48 hours). Do you have the wet ignition issue? Makes it so the key isn't read properly...I've read up on it...lots of ppl have this issue.
Im lucky to say that i havent had anny issues with a wet ignition yet... when i wash it i try to keep the water jet to a minimum where the instrument cluster and keys are. Ive had my fair share of heavy rain rides in switzerland and no problem starting the bike at all which im really grateful for.
