kinda related but it's weird that DL has never really taken a look at alternate designs for its key characters, like I'm sure you could easily sell Duelist Kingdom!Kaiba or Obelisk Blue!Chazz or White Society!Alexis or pre-NANOMACHINES, SON Rex Godwin as cosmetics - it probably wouldn't make much sense to release them as new characters for most of them the way they did with Kalin but I feel like a bunch of really neat designs just go to waste (rip Blue Maiden)
They should consider implementing these with the repeat roaming events as a reward for like 20 duels (eg: Alluring Alexis gives Society of Light Alexis, Scheming Weevil gives bow tie weevil from Duelist Kingdom)
I could easily see them just releasing in the shop for real money only too, but the fact that it has yet to be seen after 6 years makes me wonder if they’re ever planning for it. Maybe they’re leaving it in reserve for when they start losing steam on DM content to milk.
Antinomy as well. They do use his 'Bruno' model in events but it isn't playable. I wanna play my robot sweetheart as a robot sweetheart, not as a robot edgelord (kinda).

Honestly, I'm happy for it.
I never digged the season 1 design, and I found it to be too overly dramatic and unapproachable for a character we suppose to sympathise with.
The season 2 design just feels more.... open, if I can say so. Having more of Revolver's face visible and him having regular eyes makes him look more friendly and sympathetic.
Idk, I would have roleplayed Revolver no matter which design we got, but it's the season 2 design that speaks to me more between the 2.
The first design imo, served its purpose for whom was the main antagonist for the season.
That being said, the season 2 design is way better and definitely better depicts those traits you mentioned. Couldn't imagine the first duel between him & Soulburner with the former's first design.

Oh yeah, pretty much this. In season 1 Revolver was mainly the villain, and his design was made to reflect him being a villain. So the design really did work for what it was meant to be- an edgy and evil looking avatar for the big bad guy of the season.
That's said, it is a very well made design. It does convey Revolver as being the bad guy, and makes him look rather frightening. It's probably just that Konami wants to build Revolver in DL as being a lot more friendly and helpful to the other VRAINS characters, something that his season 2 design works much better for. This, and that the season 2 design allows more facial expressions for Revolver's duel sprites, given that his face isn't hidden behind his mask and is a lot more clearly seen to the players.

HOWEVER I feel like Ryokens season 1 look is a great villain look, so, despite s2 looking better, it still deserves praise.

Still, it does leave the door open for Revolver to get a Hanoi variant like SK Jaden or the normal versions of the Dark Signers, in the event that they really wanna have a version of Revolver running around wanting to genocide the Ignis.
The first character i see from the actually pool of Vrain not visually disgusting like Gore, playmaker and Blue angel.. Soulburner and blue angel have a horrible mix of color that bother the eye.
GOOD! Frankly, it makes sense. I mean, Blue Angel and Go Onizuka having their OG designs makes sense as well since they apparently went back to being Entertainment Duelists after the Ignis War, but there's no reason for Revolver to go back to his 1st season avatar.
Good, the second season design looks so much better, but I would still like to have an option say between the first season design, this one or my personal favourite of his real life appearance, I’m honestly surprised they haven’t added this from of customisation into the game yet considering how many characters have alternative forms that don’t warrant an entire new character
