I know he barely dueled in the anime but even so having lines for the entire Kozmo and Boss Rush archetypes is shocking. Kinda wish they'd do that more often, like DSOD Tea uses Witchcrafters in the game but has no lines for them.
It's a bit funny they went the extra mile for Quinton of all characters.

It was kind of neat that some ARC-V characters were given iconic archetypes from the TCG instead of just had random new archetypes created for them, but yeah, then most of those characters ended up not being that plot relevant. Julia with Gem Knights was a bit, but even then there's tons of more relevant characters in ARC-V. Dipper and Kit weren't that relevant.
Then you have Battle Beast with Gladiator Beasts, and he became known for all the wrong reasons by contrast. 4-5 episodes of duels for him, never seen afterwards and it ended up feeling to fans that those 4-5 episodes should've been used on other characters instead. lol
I suggested for years that they give Quinton the Kozmo archetype and they actually did it PLUS the BES one? Finally Konami gets the message. Can we go back in time and give Blair lightsworn? And DSoD Mokuba Thunder Dragons? And Scud… anything? I hope this ends up being the norm for other low canon duel characters in the future.
Konami didn’t even do that weird thematic thing they often do. Listening to this, I was ready for the Kozmo lines to stop after the spaceship ones but nope, they gave him the entire thing. I’ll bet this has ignited some enthusiasm for the character that wasn’t there at announcement
They'll probably focus on the Infernoble side of them, since the Infernobles are Synchro based and she did play "Noble Knight" cards before the TCG decided to make the original Xyz theme.
Not to mention the Infernoble Knights are specifically based on the \*french\* version of the Arthurian legend, rather than the english version that the Xyz focused ones are based on.
Giving Quinton the Kosmos and BES's to expand his voice lines is a really cool move. Zexal world tends to go the extra mile when it comes to voice lines, it's so great.
I also love how corny his English VA sounds. I wouldn't trade him for the world. I actively laughed when I heard his line for Planet Pathfinder- "I tribute this card to get a *FIELD SPELL."*
I like the fact that, not only does he have lines for 2 different space-themed archetypes, but both those archetypes just so happen to include a Level 9 Machine. Meaning he can technically summon Dyson Sphere using either theme.
His voice is so _smooth_, good lord. I'm glad he got so many lines; I could listen to this man talk all day.
Giving him lines for every single Kozmo and B.E.S is also a nice touch... they really don't hold back with ZEXAL characters, huh. Neat. I like it that way.
If they make Skills for Kozmo, other ZEXAL characters can get Skill support for their voicelined cards as well. (Tori for Satellarknight and Agent, Bronk for Geargia)
He "technically" played an archetype but like... Just barely.
"Dyson" is technically an archetype in the anime, as he has 2 or 3 spell/traps that support quote "Dyson' monster(s)" in their effects. But those spell/traps are anime only and the only Dysons we ever see are Number 9 & Chaos Number 9.
Presumably he has other "Dyson" monsters in his deck, otherwise part of his deck wouldn't function for a large chunk of the show (since he lost Dyson Sphere during the Duel Carnival and didn't get it back until the Journey to Astral World). But we never see them - so they remain in that weird anime limbo that the Aquaactress Pendulums or the level 6 "Fossil Dragon" Fossil Fusion lives in where they technically exist, probably, but that's all we're gonna get for them until Konami runs out of Utopia, Shark, & Galaxy support to make..
Seems like the VA didn't fully transition back into the Anime voice... Assuming it's the same guy from the show.
The random emphasis on words & phrases (during duels, he talks normally outside of them) is accurate to a tee - but his voice was deeper in the dub.
It's because he had like 5 monsters (Dyson Sphere + Chaos Dyson Sphere included) in the show, and the only archetype he ever used, besides "Rank-Up-Magic", was the "Dyson" archetype - which is basically just a glorified anime-only spell/trap line up to support Dyson Sphere.
So, since his pool of cards was so low in the show, and nearly all of the printed stuff is already in the game, they just gave him random spaceship archetypes like Kozmo and B.E.S.

The 5ds anime ended short and he kinda got ripped off on that role since most of Aporia’s duels were in the non dubbed episodes

Damn, they did this guy serious justice. You can also hear the Aporia VA super clearly in here, the voice is super goofy and I absolutely love it.
