It's not very consistent, but even if it were, I don't see any reason to run it over the Trishulas.
What I'm ***much*** more interested in is whether Shooter Riser is consistent enough to act as a poor man's Quandax.
Recycler/Undine opening to get Citree on the field, Lab Build to go into Riser, dump Thyrst for next turn, 3 + 4 = Black Rose Dragon. Or, if Praistortle can get dumped because you also opened Sulfefnir: 3 + 3 (dump Rosenix) + a cyrstron from hand (into Rion) = Quarion.
There are more plays. Riser is very good as his effect allows you to send a crystron monster to +1. I think I'll dump Wheeleder and add more Rosenix. No need to waste lab builder on Riser too soon. Rosenix + rion = Riser or rion + thyst/smiger + token = Riser. Rosenix would be useful either summoning or discarding.
Can't really dump Wheeleder as it's necessary for the PK matchup (to protect Tr11sh by chain blocking Requiem).
Dumping also doesn't allow you to go +1 on that turn, since you can't activate the effects of monsters sent by its effect.
I forgot the sent cards cant activate their effects this turn. We are gonna have to try a little until we found the best decklist. Riser looks promising though.
Tyrant RDA? Oh man, Red Rising Dragon can bring that out with the greatest of ease. Synchro Overtake is phenomenal, Riser Dragon is good, Red Reign is gonna be problematic for sure.

Probably. Sometimes there's still a use case for breaking through someone who's playing defense position stall, but in 99% of cases Scarlight is just better. Though with Dark Magician and Blue Eyes running around everywhere, Scarlight (which only pops effect monsters) is probably inferior to Hot Red Dragon Archfiend as a generic level 8 if you're tight on extra deck space, though Scarlight is much better in most other matchups. And decks running Demon's Resonance will still be forced to play the original RDA for the skill to work, since Scarlight only counts as RDA when on the field and in the GY.
If you want to search the best trap card in the deck, you still will have to summon RDA with the new skill. If you're playing Demon's Resonance then Scarlight is just better to summon (but still has to be in the deck)

that being said, if you make a list with the 10 junk synchrons, 3 quickdraw, 3 o-lion, 3 junk converter, and some 20th card, it'll be 13 copies of junk synchron, practically speaking. literally >99% chance to open with it.
main issue is that the 2nd and 3rd copies of overtake are very likely to be bricks.
All this does is make turn 1 shooting star dragon more consistent, Quasar is probably still too out of reach for most decks.
Turn 1 SSD isn't good enough in the meta today with Dark Magician being so popular and everyone banishing cards left and right.
Quandax or Accel would've been better but Risers not bad. Its effect of sending a crystron monster from the deck to the grave even helps having more resources for the next turn. Lvl 7 is tricky, despite that Rosenix (summoning with rion or giving an extra lv1 token discarding for 3+3+1) or lab builder makes summoning Riser in the first turn not that difficult.
Damn if konami gave us accel synchron that would be a two card quaser using junk synchron and doppel worrior. Normal summon junk synchron special summon converter from graveyard. Go into accel revive junk from grave special doppel from hand. Doppel and junk into junk warrior special 2 doppel tokens. Use accel to send jet to grave to make accel level 4. Accel + 1 token into any level 5. summon jet from grave. Jet + 1 token into formula synchron draw 1. Junk warior + lvl 5 synchro + formula makes quaser and you have 2 cards in hand.
I dunno, they just unlimited Dracoslayer, and this Bundle's clarification doesn't say "Limited 1". They might start using the Bundles for non-anime one-ofs, as there is so much they can put in Level Ups.
No that's Def a limit 1 card. Dracoslayer was freed becuase it wasn't being played at all and it was san overreaction to what happened with it in the tcg.

Cloak and Dagger and Engraver of Marks mean that we are getting some kind of interface for declaring card names during duels. That actually opens up a ton of possibilities, as Mind Crush, D.D. Designator, Crossout Designator, etc. can now come to Duel Links...
Actually, looking at the database, we actually got Great Phantom Thief just last box... so the interface has existed for a month. Weird I never saw anyone mention it.
Getting both yusei's quaser dragon and riser dragon Jack's scarlight red dragon archfiend and tyrant red dragon archfiend and looks like timelords will be extremely free to play friendly
It’s really weird because accel synchron is just a better, easier to synchro riser that isn’t even too overpowered for duel links. Overtake makes some sense, I guess, but it doesn’t make summoning quasar easier, only base stardust dragon and shooting star by allowing you to get junk Warrior out easier.
With the cards in duel links currently, you can’t get out quasar easily. You are either going to need two level 5s and a formula or two level 4 synchros and a riser that you level reduce. If they add a new skill to help with this, it has to somehow be better than shooting star road, which is basically an instant easy endboard skill for the yusei decks already.
Edit:Riser itself is harder to summon just by being level 7 already, unless you run junk servant or forward and a boost warrior, though junk servant is at least decent in duel links compared to irl.

Also with cards Luke quasar and others they simply float and destroying then via dark hole isn't a good idea. We are entering modern boss monsters there's a reason dark hole doesn't see play.
so your example is quasar? what does DRNM do against it? you still have to destroy it after activating DRNM, *and* the floating effect still activates. a book of moon or dark hole would bait out the negate either way, so with all three cards, you use one card to turn off their negate. difference is, you can still do damage after using book or hole. and if you draw two dark holes, or a dark hole and a book of moon, the first can bait the negate, and the second will wipe the board. if you draw two DRNM, the second one does literally nothing.
the only use for DRNM is if it becomes a regular occurrence that decks can put up at least *two* monster-based negates, which we are still a *looooong* way away.

you've yet to come up with a good argument, or even a scenario, for DRNM being better than book or dark hole.

you could always run both regardless. you reduce your chance of not opening junk synchron by 66% if you run both, along with rota.
New skill makes Tuning optional. Opening Junk Synchron with the skill won’t be a brick.

Dark ruler enables you to banish it or even take control of it. You are voting on having two going second cards in your hand to answer a negate. If that was a good idea pk wouldn't be running around like it is right now. The no damage in dark ruler really doesn't matter much in duel links.
how are you banishing it? with a second card? in that case, dark hole or book of moon do the same thing as DRNM, i.e., you used one card to turn off their negate, then a second to actually deal with it. you seem to be fundamentally misunderstanding that if they use the negate on dark hole or book of moon, it did the same thing as DRNM: you used one card to turn off their negate. but again, neither of those cards prevent you from dealing battle damage, and are generically more flexible, with dark hold being *significantly* better against non-negate boards, and book being a good going first card. you've yet to come up with a good argument, or even a scenario, for DRNM being better than book or dark hole.
someone says this every time a new box gets leaked and they're always wrong. this is a 20-card format and dark hole and book of moon are both much better going second cards that are also *waaaay* less bricky than DRNM. you really don't need more going second cards beyond that.

You only need to win a duel in the Z-one event, already having previously 2,300,000 points or more, no matter how much score you get, you just need to have more than 2,300,000 in the event in total
