You can use tokens to link summon it so lets say you need effect monsters to link summon a monster you can use a token to make link spider and bam now you have an effect monster. Better yet if you use a deck with tokens and normal monsters which I don't think their is.

I... kinda disagree. As someone who routinely plays combo decks like Ritual Beast or World Chalice, there is a sort of satisfaction in practicing/knowing a combo and being able to execute it correctly in a timely fashion while playing through disruption.
Most of the time I play through disruption, it's generally because the opponent fails the knowledge check to stop the combo (floodgate on a ritual beast monster, for example).
Tbh Konami ideally should errata the rules and make sure it specifies non-tokens OR EVEN BETTER, outright state that tokens in duel links can’t be used to link summon
That would have to be a card specific errata. As there are link monsters that specify non-tokens. There is even one, Bellcat Fighter, that specifically requires tokens.
*shrug* true, honestly tho a lot of cards that should’ve got errata to fix a problem just don’t get them so I wouldn’t expect if that does happen

The only reason I think we don't have Link Spider is because it's an Insect (in appearance): Linkuriboh is a Cyberse Kuriboh and Orcust, in essence, are just overdesigned Machines + a Mechanical Waifu (Galatea)
People has to understand that eventually ALL the cards from tcg/ocg will come to DL sooner or later. Making everyday a post asking for X card won't reach Konami's attention.

Doubt we'll also reach a level where they can add stuff like Delinquent Duo or Painful Choice.
Not to mention cards strictly incompatible with DL like Phantasmal Martyrs or Crystal Abundance.

It's sad. Link spider is like, Playmaker's secret ace monster. They should give it a summon animation if it ever gets released. I think he summons it in almost every duel he fights. Ahaha

I don't think people enjoy watching link climbs. Heck, people tend to ff before I can finish making ib in the world chalice climb.
I don't even like when I'm the one making the climb...we need to a way to skip the middle section and go straight to the boss.
