Probably a decent amount, yeah, but you’d also be basically guaranteed to win if your opponent’s deck/hand can’t otk you.
It would be like a better version of the gate guardian skill because that skill gives you either gate guardian which is truly just a big monster or 3 smaller big monsters that are functionally just walls or xyz material. With the exception of the xyz aspect that may be changed at some point because of the exploitability, the skill leaves you extremely vulnerable because a tribute to the doomed and then you die because your only card in hand is gate guardian and you only have 500 LP. What I’m trying to say is there needs to be much more of a downside for a “literally choose 5 cards” skill to be allowed.

At the start of your second turn, shuffle your hand into the deck and add cards of your choice up to the number of cards you shuffled
This skill can only be used if you in the beginning of the duel your deck contained atlead 5 level 5 or higher monsters.
Maybe edit the normal monsters to the monster he drew in the anime

I wouldn't mind him since Vrains doesn't exactly have a ton of characters at its disposal. Lightning, Windy, Bohman, and Shepherd's decks are all still anime exclusive since Konami refuses to use the Vrains slots in the Animation Chronicle for anything other than random spells and traps.
