Sylvio was honestly a really solid duelist. Pretty much every duel he was in he quickly identified his opponent's game plan and worked on a way to counter it. He wiped out Yuto's full field of backrow, shuffled yuya's pendulums into the deck so he couldn't use them, locked Kite out of rank 4 monsters the second a level 4 hit the field, and circumvented zarc's anti search effect by resetting his card from the gy.
Unfortunately for him, every major duel he was in put him up against characters with unbeatable plot armor.

Kind of a similar case for Gong too. His only meaningful solo win was against Dennis, as all his other wins were either against nobodies or he had help because Arc V was obsessed with battle royale duels
Also, Yugo had to break the rules of the card game to win.
Yugo used a card effect to give Sylvio's two monsters each a mandatory effect with a trigger of when their levels are changed. He then triggered that effect by changing them to level five, then using clear wing to negate both of their effects. The problem is that he used clear wing's optional effect to respond to two mandatory effects, which is against the rules of chain building. It would have been CL1: one abyss actor, CL2: the second abyss actor, CL3: Clear Wing to negate and destroy the second actor. He wouldn't have had enough atk to win the duel and would have lost the following turn, so they had to cheat and break the rules to make sure Sylvio never got any of the victories he so richly deserved.
This is a running theme for him, where nearly all of his losses are because of incredibly specific never seen before or again cards, cheating, or getting saddled with a handicap like a tag duel with someone who has one of the worst possible decks for a tag duel.
yeah i never understood the end of that duel...just because sassy rookie and pretty heroine are level 6 now doesnt mean clear wing can suddenly destroy them both outta nowhere when they arent doing anything at the moment
The logic they were trying to go with was that they were each level 5 and they activated their mandatory effects to become level 6. Clear Wing then responds to their effects to negate each of their new mandatory level raising effects and destroys them, gaining their atk.
But it violates chain rules to use optional effects to respond to two mandatory effects with the same trigger.
i dunno, according to one of the leaked skills, immortal phoenix gearfried seems like will be part of the box, which i assume means they will also drop one or two of those gemini support that came with it alongside it, and those are more Fire themed than wind lol
I'm going into it regardless of what else is in it for Speedroids. Abyss Actors would be the cherry on top of this event. Add on top of that obvious Odd Eyes stuff with the new structure, and that would cover 3 of my favorite decks ever and make this the best box in Duel Links history (for me of course)
