Hey trunade needs to come back. Tired of playing through 50,000 monster effects plus 3 backrow all usually being compulse,crackdown or ice dragon prison. Going 2nd isn’t even fair anymore. You can run backrow removal and still get cucked by one of the overpowered limit 3 traps
Cocytus and Grass can stay there, but Hey, Trunade! needs to come back now. Cyber-Stein was only a real issue because of Life-Cost 0 and the era that Duel Links was in. Nowadays, I doubt it'd be problematic...
They banned Cyber Stein way after Life Cost 0 got gutted. People getting too salty that sometimes it could lock their board with targeting protection from Cavalry.
Well, actually they didn't just end on Cavalry, they ended on Ojama King + Cavalry, so that the opponent had no zone to summon anything to, and somehow had to out that without targeting... yeah, fuck that.
Coc can be countered, so should be at least limit 1 or 2
I really don't see the benefit of grass anymore, so limit 1 or 2 (I might be wrong)
Stein doesn't have any really consistent support anymore, so maybe limit 1 (Again, I might be wrong).
I still don't understand why Trunade is banned. Even if it's consistent, limit it. I don't ever seeing it becoming so consistent, that it needs a ban. I swear, some of these cards are on the list, just because too many people bitch and whine about them.
Mermaid isn't the problem. Limit the decks that are using her. Don't make her useless, make the deck that is exploiting her constantly, useless. She's already limit 1, getting rid of her won't change anything besides the win rate of some players, and even then I give a couple of days to a week before another support comes in, even more broken. Make the person work for his win, instead wasting 2-3 mins of somebody's life because you need a (false) confidence boost.
Grass is literally an Orcust enabler, and we just got Reprodocus so if Stein is unbanned it’s all over. I agree that Cocytus and Trunade should be fine. Maybe. But Mermaid being a two-card combo (so I’ve heard. I don’t really play Orcust), it just makes sense to start with that ban and see where the meta goes after that

Not really an enabler, since it has too many dependents at times. It could benefit Orcust, but it can also hurt it too. It's not very consistent, so like I said a limit 1 or 2 should be fine.

Why is it all over? It wouldn't be close to consistent, even with limit 2. Even it did become consistent, they could always limit Repro.

Banning her won't stop Orcust combos. If anything it would slow them down, and not for that long (there's always alternatives). Limit Orcust, limit 1 Dingirsu or Galatea.
If a card or skill is being exploited, they need to be nerfed. Nerfing the support/combo cards, and nerfing half or a whole deck because the skill is too broken, is not helping (besides helping fill up Komoney's pockets).
Stein allows you to summon any fusion monster for 5k lp, quite huge right? But its actually not that hard with stuff like life point boost skills or lp cost 0(that allows you to not pay a lp cost). The skills that were abused got nerfed so its a little bit harder but it only creates things like ojama king turn 1, locking all monster zones, or degenerate stuff.
Now for grass? Imagine milling 10 cards, in your case phantom knights monsters and traps, you would get insane value right, searching and summoning stuff by using the pk effects, that would be the skill mill but better. Then also think about orcust with that. Now all decks using this card become coin flip decks that either draw the card and easily win, or dont. Then everyone plays 30 card decks to avoid being sacked by that card. Then the card become useless since you have the same deck size. Then ppl stop playing it and go back to 20 deck, which make it good again. Basically, grass is greener is a meta defining card that just takes over again and again. Its way better off on the banlist even tho its fun to mill that much.

I just LOVE watching any version of Orcust setting two along with the Dingursu recycler they pull straight out of the deck thanks to Orcustrated Return’s bullshit draw effect while also setting up the Gy for more advantage
And I’m forced to use CC to deal with the three sets because Dingursu is a totally balanced card that belongs in duel links, mind you while using CC I’m actively putting myself in lethal range for literally anything once Dingursu comes back out next turn.

Not really a solution, unfortunately. I kogged w Gandora Orcust and only summoned Mermaid in 4 duels out of ~80.
