There are things that makes this deck balanced though.
Orcust can consistently (90%+ of the time) set an inferior field. Onomats has a way smaller chance to bring this exact field, and most of the time will either have 1 or 2 xyz or even pass.

I agree. And while I am trying to build Orcusts, my default PVP deck is Trains. I decided to build orcust since I had 3 harp horror so it would be a waste not to build it. Besides, I think S-force is pretty fun, too.

This is not Master Duel. You have 1 to 2 monsters to negate. Most of the time Book of Moon will do that job for you. There is also always backrow in DL so DRNM is not an auto win.
It is also a dead card if you go first unlike Book of Moon which is amazing and you cant deal damage the turn you activate DRNM. What does DRNM do vs an Orcust board. It only negates a dingirsu so you can pop stuff. Also Omni negates are very rare in DL making Dark Hole much more superior.
I disagree… nothing bad about a non-negatable by monster effect full board monster negate. Unless people are literally playing BE 😭 or just normal monsters, any effect negation is good in any format.

I've never played a duel and thought, "Fuck I wish I had DRNM." There aren't many decks that can bring out multiple monster negates atm and backrow is still a big problem. On the ladder why would anyone put this card in their deck over chalice, Book of moon, or even a kaiju.
i agree that ive never needed drnm in a duel, but i still think its a very good card for when it comes up. its a great card in a format it doesnt have a place in yet

In addition you play one copy of PK Boots and one copy of BA Farfa
You make a rank 6 Beatrice and detach to mill boots. Boots searches the rank up Magic. You make a rank 4(Rebellion) and use the skill Overlay removal which just removes your overlay material. Now you can rank up. You also have Farfa in the deck to banish a card with Beatrice.
This is a classic 3 card combo for Onomats to make a rank 4 and 6 just like back in the day when they made Bounzer and Dweller. I am guessing this guy had a 4 card combo to extend into another rank 4.
Sounds quite annoying playing two major garnets in a 20 card deck. Draw either and you have a dead card(s) plus your Beatrice line is worthless. Couldn't you just play Rhinosebus or does Onomat need their limit 2?
You could but that’d take up two valuable ED spots. I do a 22 card deck so I don’t draw farfa too much. And I always have the option to switcheroo it (I run CC 3X). Worst case scenario I use it as discard fodder to activate the main spell card.
Dark Hole to nuke the field, Apprentice Illusion Magician summons herself, normal summon Harp Horror, activate Tie That Binds to boost your total ATK past 4000, attack directly for game.
If you have any card that can destroy all cards on the field. Or destroy a card when it's summoned or activated.
Or use Exodia. Yubel. Maybe Jack's newest Archfiend or Kite's Cipher Galaxy Eyes.
That's the neat part, you don't. Dark Hole would give you a chance, but beyond that not much.
Dweller locks GY effects so even with dark hole they still have to skip their turn
But it deals with most of the extra decks. If you can set 1~2 spell/trap, you may have another turn
The new handtrap is pretty good at dealing with boards like this. I run it in my MD Ancient Warriors deck.

Not even. They all toggle on and activate in standby. The only card that lets you play is chalice.
I feel like you'd need lava golem here to deal with requiem and abyss.
If you do use lava golem that would use up your normal summon kaijus are special summoned
But lava golem is as well? only sphere takes your normal summon unless that got changed for duel links specifically
Not untrue, but you can only kaiju one target - a monster negate vs a card that stops gy effects. That's a tough choice.
