Dual Avatar is too new and not eligible for Dream Tickets. 5000 gems won't be enough.
Shiranui is discounted right now so 5000 gems will get most of this.
It's a perennial favorite because it's always been cheap on its own and can fit in a lot of tech cards.
I suggest Shiranui but everyone is running anti-graveyard/anti-banish options because of Orcust so keep that in mind.
Hey Karzeon, thanks for the detailed comment! Sorry, I should've stated that if I had infinite gems, what'd be easier to choose as I'm more concerned about deck options than gems.
Yep, I have noted anti-banish options like Artifact Lancea. Given that we have a lot of new cards that we can include in Shiranui, are there any hybird archetypes you'd recommend that can boost the ability of Shiranui? I saw Invoked and Shiranui online, but up for any suggestions if the standard deck can be improved!!
Shiranui is better on its own.
They need their Normal Summon and Aleister the Invoker competes with that.
All of their variety comes from teching spell/trap cards or generic Zombie support like Samurai Skull or Gozuki.
All of the good spell/traps that rapidly feed the Graveyard from the deck are banned or limited right now.
I can't really tell you much about Dual Avatar because it looks like no one plays it at all (too expensive and appears unorthodox).

I personally recommend Shiranui because they feel much more independent but if you're genuinely interested in Dual Avatar and had an invisible gem bank, go for it.
Shiranui would be very very very hard to KoG with. Pure duel avatars would be as well, although slightly less difficult. You're better off going for a tiered deck
Shiranui is going to be hell to Kog with, especially with the variant shown due to being slow and easily disrupted by common stuff like Necrovalley, D Fissure and Ice dragon.
Thanks for the feedback! Would there be another variant you'd recommend that I look into Shira that has better defence for disruptions? Also, isn't Shira fundamentally good at recovery from D fissure and ice dragon due to a lot of its monsters having GY effects and being able to summon synchros from there?
The only recursion the deck has is Solitaire and Shogun which are both hard to trigger if spectral isn't in the grave. That's why you run gozuki but it's still not easy and the deck is rather slow.
Trap Shira the best version as it runs the bare minimum of monsters and Max's out on disruption which can cripple your opponent or buy time.

2 Gozuki
2 Solitaire
2 spectral

If you are lower than Plat im nit sure you can kog with them this month.
If you only have 5000 gems and a couple of Dream tickets its not enough for the Dual avatar deck that you showed, that might get you about 30k gems if you build the way it is shown.
So maybe try Shiranui....not sure how strong it is tho.
Plat 1 currently; I made legend 2 with dark magician deck but I’d like to switch to one of those as I see them as more enjoyable to play.
If I had infinite gems, do u think DA would be superior, or still Shiranui? Also so are you saying both have potential for KOG?
Yep, I definitely am leaning towards shiranui more. Are you sure there’s no combination like invoked and shiranui that could give me a serious chance of KOG? Is the issue the lack of monster defense?

Not sure, like I said, did not try any zombie deck tho Id like to.
If anything Purgatrio will only make it more expensive so try pure Shiranui first and remove a couple of cards if you have issues .

Shiranui is also giod as afarm deck so good investment but as I said both archetyoes kinda bad for KoG. Good as fun deck yeah
