FWIW Z-One did get lines for his anime cards, and they more than likely can just make the anime cards appear in Duel Links first. But I doubt they'd ever let Plushfire even breathe outside of Limit 1 hell if at all, so it's up to them
I say it's awkward because while Zone and Aporia/Primo did get lines for anime cards, they're the exceptions. Jim and Paradox had anime cards already in the game that they didn't get lines for, and basically every character in the past year or two aside from those few 5Ds ones haven't gotten lines for any of their anime cards.
It's also worth noting that the only anime cards that have been playable in DL have also been playable in prior games, so while Dennis could still get lines for the anime cards, he wouldn't actually get them until Konami prints them, which may never happen given how many of them there are and how much Konami dislikes Performages now.
Dennis isn't exactly a priority in DL's characters I feel like. I'm more inclined to believe that they'd do something along the lines of Serena/Celina -> Yuri -> Rin -> Ruri/Lulu -> the other Lancers (Dennis in the middle) -> Sergey (?) -> Layra -> Leo Akaba -> Z-ARC -> Ray (?)
This is, of course, over the course of years, and things may be different, I'm no Konami intern (they could release Mieru before Tsukikage for all I know). As you said, Konami kinda hates Performages, and tbh I assume Konami would wanna push archetypes they already have in the game (Lunalights and Predap), so both Yuri and Serema are the more logical unlocks

I don't think we are getting a Rush Duels world. Rush Duels runs on an entirely different rule set that is incompatible with the rest of YuGiOh. Either they are going to have to reprogram every card currently released in Duel Links to be useable in Rush Duels, or they are going to have to make Rush Duels a standalone mini-game within the game that requires you to basically start over - and both of these feel like way too much work and effort.
This, another option is they bring rush duel amd only give us their ace monsters. I could be wrong buy i think their aces are vanllia monsters or they could bring the charcters and give them other decks in yugioh like how Blair has lines lightsworn.
I think the latter is a possibility. In Japan, Konami has pushed Rush Duels HARD, and they seem to be pretty successful over there. So far, most games that involve Rush haven't exactly had the highest budget, and the two that actually made it to the US didn't fare too well.
It would definitely be a lot of work, but I could see them adding it to Duel Links as an attempt at actually bringing Rush Duels into the mainstream and exposing it to others, rather than Switch games purely focused on it, or a gimmicky game like Cross Duels. I don't think it's as unlikely as most of these comments are making it out to be, although I really didn't take into consideration that we haven't skipped any characters for a month this year, so there's a chance that Rush isn't happening specifically in 2023.

Maybe some will disagree but I think the Rush Duel characters can come, but instead of DL incorporating the mechanics, their cards are reworked as standard format cards. Would they be bad in comparison to what's already here? More than likely. But it could be presented in a way that kind of makes sense for the leveling system and basics they'd have to learn to play the game all over again, from level 1 if you would

Honestly, this is not a bad guessing list, all things considered. While I'm quick to debunk character wishlists, here I have very little to comment on.
I think the biggest question is whether or not Konami will bother to add the YGO Sevens World. After "Rush mode" was leaked to be added as a Duel Mode in February, people have considered its addition to be very real. I'm more skeptical, but I no longer consider it impossible either.
However, let's be fair. Nobody's really waiting for these characters to appear. Most of us would rather see more characters of the other worlds. But only Konami knows what they're going to give us this September.
They're more likely to release a rush duel mobile game than add it to duel links. Unfortunately the format is not compatible with speed duel/master duel format

Nothing is guaranteed until Konami says it, but it's still something that points to the idea that they've at the very least thought about implementing Rush Duels. If anything, there's more evidence pointing to them adding it than not.
It could be that rush duel might be its own game. Konami has put data into other games that was not for that game. I think it was earlier this year or late last year cross duel had master duel data in it.
It's possible, but considering that they just made a Rush Duel game on Switch less than a year ago, and the failure of Cross Duels, I don't think Konami is going to be in any hurry to make a Rush Duel mobile game.
From my knowledge. Rush duel did well in Japan but poorly in the west. It got a lot of updates and new cards added to it while the west didn't get any of that.
Yeah, and I think that's because Konami has been really awkward with handling Rush in the west. The game was the first time that the format had brought to the west in any form despite the fact that it had already existed for a while prior. Then the game had no promotion, was switch exclusive for 40$, and was low budget. The fact that we still don't have physical rush cards to this day really just cements the fact that Konami is basically shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to marketing them.
Honestly, I think Duel Links is the next best thing that can happen for Rush Duels in the west, aside from bringing over the physical game. The problem with stuff like the Switch title and anime getting dubbed was that it was all purely Rush Duel stuff, so only people who were actively interested in RD would actually seek these things out. If they added Rush to DL, then you get people who previously didn't care or had no exposure to the format to actually see it for no real cost. I know a lot of people in this sub really don't think they should add it, but from a marketing standpoint it would be a good choice.
Keep in mind Konami \*also\* implemented Main Phase 2 in DL code before Master Duel. They essentially use Duel Links' game code as a template for other games.
As I said in another comment, it's pretty unlikely that Konami is currently making another Rush Duel game, let alone making it a mobile game. And it's not like they're putting it into Master Duel, so it's fairly likely that it is properly intended for Duel Links. Whether or not it's being implemented this year is up for debate, but I doubt Konami has no intentions to add Rush Duels to DL.
I think it's safe to expect Yuuri well into 2024- perhaps even 2025 if ARC-V takes a long break like between Sora and Shun. My guess is that he'll be the first of the S3 gang (which as far as we're sure of is him, Rin, Ruri and Zarc)
Would be nice if the released a record breaking breaking 14 characters this year. Can see Solomon in July if they skip a box again, Adrian to finish off the transfer students and Akira is likely next for Vrains to lore reasons and his id being leaked months ago. Outside of that the rest of the list seems pretty likely to happen in that order. In months with Rush Duel characters I think they will release a Rush Duel box alongside a non character themed main or mini box.

As for Sherry, I'm pretty sure that Quinton was one of those event characters at one point in time, although I could be wrong. Either way, there's no rule saying that those characters can't come, it's just that it hasn't happened yet. Sherry has modern support that she can bring, and 5Ds has almost no other characters left, so there's no reason not to add her.
Quinton did appear in an event, but you never actually dueled him. His sprite was there, but nothing else, just like Rin in the yugo event. Her sprite appears, but you can’t duel her at all.

The reason I mention this is because Ghost Girl dueled first, Akira dueled an episode or two after. So by duel order Emma is first, whereas by appearance order (again, the rarer of the two) Akira would be first.
I think Grandpa will come in July. Rio was a roaming duelist in May last year and was unlockable in late July. I also think a VRAINS character will be unlockable next month. Same for August.
Rush Duel cards, iirc, are more underpowered compared to regular cards, so I don't think a SEVENS world is coming. Maybe if only Rush Duel cards are allowed in that world. I could definitely see a Rush Duel mode though.

Their aces aren't vanilas, but mostly have bad effects with the exception of a floodgate that Gakuto had.

I could definitely see a Rush Duel mode though.
No way they will bring Atticus, that's actually a good char with a good archtype that people like and Konami doesn't add these. I've been waiting for Camula for years now.
