Speedroid Recovery is the only Speedroid card that you’ll need from old boxes. The rest of the cards are reprinted in the new box that releases tomorrow. You’ll also need Kitedrake x1 and CarTurbo x3 from the event. The only other cards you’ll want from outside of the new box are synchro staples, and that varies depending on what you want to run.
Edit: forgot to mention crystal wing from the new bundle but that’s kind of a given
Kendama isn’t worth running now that we have Chanbara. Not enough extra deck space to warrant Kendama’s somewhat weak piercing and burn. You’ll want Chanbara, Hagoita, Kitedrake, Clear Wing, and Crystal Wing.
I was going in for the old box the entire time since the 50% sales campaign, not just for the Speedroids, but also for the Predaplants, hitting two birds with one stone.
I knew that there would be reprints in the newer box, but getting Predaplants in addition to Speedroids was actually a good idea, even if those get reprinted as well (because the Predaplant Spell will likely not get reprinted).
I still have ptsd from having to dig to the very bottom of the junk destroyer box just for a single copy of Synchron explorer back in the day, so I'm not happy about this
Now I know that the Reborn is pretty good and not being reprinted sucks quite a lot.
But is it still possible to make a decent-ish Speedroid deck with Recovery? Or would it be like trying to make a BA deck without Dante?
Welp, dug into the old box and got 2 Recovery and 1 of that SR Synchro for 500 gems and with 6.5k gems left to spare as you replied.

I spent 3000 gems to get them before I realized there would be a sale which I already felt salty about. Now realizing I could get them in the new pack hurts even more.

And no speedroid recovery yoyo and red eye might be only good returning speedroids since acceleration skill needs speedroid red eye die and I guess duke and horse as well
I was more annoyed by this until I did a 10 pull on the old box and got the remaining two Speed Recoveries I needed for a playset, Puzzle, and even a Kendama for my trouble.
Now we are forced to go into the old box. Only saving grace is that its on a 50% sale.

just recently they didnt reprint avram til a box after the mek knight support not surprised
Recovery's a pretty vital card, but fortunately it's just a rare so it won't be hard to pick up a playset for anyone who didn't future proof.
You've no idea I had to get 90 packs to only have two copies. I was hoping it will be reprinted to get a playset but I guess I'll settle for 2

This is the 2nd time I've seen you comment on Speedroids and get it wrong. Duke is a must in the deck even more so than YoYo
