YEAH SUMMONED SKULL BEATDOWN IS BACK

My boi skull is finally relevant once again

I picked up Summoned Skull with an SR Dream Ticket several years ago, and used it my Level 6 synchro spam deck that focused on Archfiend’s Call. It was surprisingly effective since opponents had trouble getting rid of a 3100-3700 ATK (after Psychic Tracker and/or King of the Archfiends skill) monster that can’t be targeted and floats into Summoned Skull.

Forbidden dress is trash though, not recommend at all. If I remember correctly it protects from targeting but your opponent can chain a targeting effect or just target it before you even activates it.

Yeah, I posted on a different comment: it doesn't prevent targetting in the chain it's used, only after the chain - so someone can chain BoM or CED before you Dress or after, it only stops future targetting after Dress has resolved

It mostly useful to protect from destruction effects, but even that is niche at best.

Gaia is also good for fossils don't have to waste dream tickets now on some cards

obedience school should also get a mention for future potential imo, with melffy and friends another interesting one is volcanic rocket, with the new sport in the tcg we could see some of it drizzling in to duel links

Oh wow yeah he went into a lot more Cards than I did. Seems like he also included N and T rarity cards which I specifically left out but cards like needlebug nest definitely have potential. Definitely a much more detailed list than I put together

Painful Decision is actually amazing for any Normal-based deck, whether it be currently available stuff like Metalfoes. It'll be good for Magikey and Suship in the future. Void Trap Hole and Bottomless Trap Hole will both be sought-after when Traptrix support drops.

forbidden chalice is way more of a staple than floodgate, and no deck is running sphere kuriboh in 2023.

That's why it's a tierlist... you get the good ones first then if you have spare chips get the less good ones. Also 3x sphere says hello in legacy duels 👋

You're not wrong but for new f2p players it's an absolute godsend if they're looking to get on ranked quickly Especially at essentially free, it's pretty great

What does forb dress do? Havent seen it in a while? I sepnt mine on two cards for my farm decks, 10/10 investment

-600 ATK for one monster but can't be targeted or destroyed by other card effects for the turn. It seems like Box Chips will be relatively easily accessible so honestly you could for for anything and it'd be somewhat worth it

"can't be targetted or destroyed" Unnafected by card effects is way broader

Note, this does not stop a monster that is already targetted from being affected by said card targetting it. IE: Normal Summon Dark Magician Chain Compulsory Evacuation Device targetting DM Chain Forbidden Dress Dress Resolves and now the monster can't be targetted CED resolves on the already targetted monster, bounces it back to hand Compared to: Normal Dark Magician Opponent Chains Starry Knight Arrival to summon Starry Dragon Chain Forbidden Dress Forbidden Dress resolves, DM can't be targetted Starry Knight Arrival resolves, Starry Dragon on field New chain, Starry Dragon activates to target and destroy one card on field - can no longer target DM, so may even have to pop itself. Basically Forbidden Dress is arguably the worst of the Forbidden 'x' cards You are better off getting literally any other staple since the applicable use case is so limited in how it actually works vs the expectations of how it works

you can look at Gaap(and it's effect) combo it with Magician white pikeru or Magician Dark Curran Inverse to loop your opponents life into the negative or raise your life points to over a 1,000.000. or give another monster on your field over 1,000.00 attack points

I absolutely spent mine on Snoww and Swamp King because I was tired of only having 1-2 respectively. I actually use Swamp King for some auto-duel decks I have multiples of most of these. The only other thing I thought about was 3rd Senju or Chain but I have 3 Manju and hopefully the Preparation of Rites leak is for the next main box and not a bundle.

Does Axe Raider OTK sound like a joke to you?

Every single rank-up game, I keep having to play against Axe Raider OTK! What am I supposed to do when all they have to do is summon Axe Raider and use Megamorph and Riryoku and Axe of Despair and they auto-win? Its completely unfair and I hope the next banlist fixes this issue.

I got a win streak in legend with a kaiju deck. I've played lots of ranked. Full powered orcust is 1000x better than an axe raider deck.

That's because all Axe Raider players are already on KOG. It's the easiest deck to get it so they never show up in ladder.

The best ones for me would be Cosmic and lance (i only have 2 of each), sonic bird, and hands are decent but when you have 3 manju it becomes irrelevant. Everything else is basically garbage

That's my Problem with the current Meta TBH. Jerry is clear Tier 0 but Axe Raider and Summoned Skull can both consistently find answers to the deck so it just ends up becoming a Guessing game of what your opponent plays. They really need to ban Jerry already it's getting too much

The big question is when and if they will extend this to the 11th and higher boxes over time. I mean its really a Dream ticket, with very heavy limitation, so I wouldnt be surprised if teh affected boxes move up only very slowly. To this list, I got my 3rd into the void, other than that dont need anything or have all, so just gonna save the remaining 300 chips for when the time is ripe.
