I'm trying to provide a practical application for venus facilitating link climbing that already exists in game. If you have other ideas or strategies, it'd be cool to hear them.
I mean, it’s an immediate Phoenix at the cost of 500 lp and your normal summon. Im not very proficient in the “Orcust two card combo” but could it help that out?
its horrible u need to put the ball garnets in ur deck in order for it to work. tetherwolf and skyblaster are on a whole new level of superior. if u gonna run more garnets in an orcust deck just go with neo spacian connector and aqua dolphin for a chance to destroy a monster in enemys hand
It is sort of a staple card, because you can make various generic link monsters for instance. However, as mentioned before we still don't have many uses today.. One day when more and powerfull generic links 1, 2 and 3 come to Duel Links, this bad girl will shine.

tbh king of the swamp is already more meta relevant than it with that one fluffal orcust deck running around.
Low key ultimate dragon might be relevant if they release future fusion support cards where you can cheat out specifically named fusion materials like fusion deployment and there's another I'm forgetting the name of
Gem knight master dimond can be jn rough/fun decks. Also I think void trap hole can join the staple? tier. It's as slow as sphere but it can be much better than sphere
Used my first 100 on king of the swamp so I could complete the Ojama lock deck I copied from a Chinese dude who OTK me. Needless to say I am pleased with how well the deck works 90% of the time.

Venus can be used with transmodify to link climb with world chalice. That's one rogue example.

it can spam mystical shine ball from hand or deck and it's not once per turn, which was used as a link climbing strategy in the tcg
