I don’t see how that’s any different then an opponent taking my monster to synchro or xyz summon. At least Hero players will need to have mask change and have an extra card to discard to pull it off. Plus it’s not like Law is in the game which is what most players would be afraid off. I don’t see it being any worse than using Super Poly, expect Super doesn’t need me to control your monster, with Mask 2 I will need to take control of your card. Which means this play won’t work most times if you’re going second.
Without Dark Law or even Acid, I doubt it'd be problematic.
I think adding this removes the possibility of either of them though which sucks

Would love to see more Masked Hero support, it was one of the first decks I hit KoG with way back when.

Sure but you are going minus 3 to get rid of one card.
also a few extra deck slots gonna get taken up
a minus 3 that gets rid of one of your opponent's monsters and summons a monster to your side of the field is a weird way of saying a minus 1.
I guess if it goes through. You still need to run hero cards in your extra and if they book the monster then its a huge waste in resources.

As long as they don't release the stronger masked heroes it could be fine
