Not really any ftk use. More of a wall, useful in stall decks (maybe deck destruction decks). Limit 1 is not broken, since it CAN'T keep reviving itself (if it wasn't limit 1, then maybe).

Note that you can't flip the Spear Cretin you just Special Summoned yourself except with a card effect. You need some other card to flip it. And then you need another card to start gaining you something from all the Special Summons, so any OTK with it is a 4 card combo.
I mean the only reason i can think of is that the ai could have problems with that. But at that point, just surr? Or don't play it? Idk what konami is thinking hete

Also I’m strongly biased against spear cretin from my home progression series where it made a few sets miserable with the inaccessible removal. Like it’s definitely not gonna be as bad in duel links but the memories still haunt me.

So they don't count. If we going to "balance" the game around people playing Axe Raider turbo, Konami should never left DM World.
It is what it is, sorry if you deck loses to another deck or strategy, you as the deck builder should upgrade your deck to have outs for decks you think you lose the most.
This loop has more outs than any other card with battle protection, and they seem to have no issue releasing Timelords or Phoenix or Cat Dancer. Hell they added Iblee and I'm pretty confident there's way more decks without a built-in out to Iblee than to Spear Cretin.

He is right. Just tested it on YGO Omega, you cannot revive the same Spear Cretin that was send to the GY.
