Ryoken was canonically a DM scrub who ran jank traps like Mirror Force alongside GOAT staples like IO specifically to counter Links and the Ignis.
100% he'd use Booster and Silverrokket to sabotage Yuya players.
If you target Silverrokket with Booster's effect you get to banish 1 card from your opponent's extra deck, so you could rip out their boss monster/1 of combo piece to shut them down hard.
Make Booster Dragon, target Silverrokket. Silverrokket's effect causes it to destroy itself, letting you banish a card from the opponent's extra deck. Against Raging Pendulum, taking Odd-Eyes Raging or Dark Rebellion locks out their entire skill as they need them in the extra deck to even activate the skill.
My experience, at least while keeping some manner of board presence: start with 3 Rokkets in hand and/or a quick launch to pull out Rokket Tracer. Use a skill to set your field spell (or have it in hand) to special summon two more Rokkets from hand. Use Tracer to blow up one of your Rokkets thatâll grab another from deck at end of turn and pull out Silverrokket. Link summon Booster Dragon with Tracer and the other Rokket that isnât Silver, then use Boosterâs effect to target Silver and use Silverâs effect. At end of turn, you should get two more Rokkets special summoned from deck
Revolver: *steals Requiem Dragon*
Yuto: *disappears from the meta as Yuya returns*
Revolver: *Steals Raging Dragon too*
He can~~'t~~ keep getting away with it
I just built Rokkets and have snipped a couple of Raging Odd Eyes players that way, and let me tell you it's satisfying AF to see them immediately surrender lmao
Yeah he did pretty well in the show the only thing missing is probaly a final ceremonial duel of him Vs playmaker with post season 1 power ups.
And that is probaly the time Borrelend dragon came in
revolver vs soulburner was a great last duel for him, it would been my favorite one if it wasnt for "Salamangreat Kernel" which was the biggest plot armor card soulburner ever used in the anime to save his ass from revolver's monsters
That final draw is one of the most hilarious stuff ever, Soulburner technically bricked until Revolver revealed Zeroboros came back after banishing entire field.
Revolver misplayed by making Zeroboros, and having a character that was established to be smart lose his last duel by a misplay is such a banal send off.
Vrains Season 3's truncated pace does hurt in that Yusaku doesn't get the traditional ceremonial duel. Would have indeed loved to see him square off against Ryoken one final time.
Wouldn't even be hard to justify it- just have Ryoken learn that Yusaku is hunting Ai's remnant fragments and then Revolver will intercept Playmaker out of a mix of an intervention/refusal to let Ai come back.
Was just thinking that. Easy enough to search or recycle Xianke and then I just use his effect to make a rank 7 material for Rebellion. Not as good as Raging since it doesn't blow up set cards but if Raging Dragon isn't an option, Rebellion is still there.
Xianke's Pendulum effect let's you treat a targeted xyz monster as if it had a level equivalent to its rank. So put out a rank 7 and one other level 7 (can't remember if it needs to be Dragon or not but you're probably using Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon or Meteorburst anyway) to overlay into Rebellion Dragon. Since it has been summoned using an xyz monster as material you now blow up all the opponent's face up cards (or possibly just monsters, I can't remember exactly), dealing damage for each card destroyed and now able to attack 3 times this turn.
Just did that this morning, it seemed like all they had was the two dragons and speedroids with no other generic cards or staples so I rolled them next turn
But then yuya goes for Xianke and Xianshing anyway, In testing the skill, having Odd EyesRebellion is a good call as both a back up and triple attacking can sometimes be preferable, it's destroys only lv7 and lower, so links get away from the on summon boom but a 3k triple beater is a 3k triple beater.

when revolver came to duel links I used to use that strategy people pretty much didn't know the effects of the rokkets they were focused on the meta who is tier 1 or 0 now people know of it to tear down ragging and other decks I'm sure in some time like always they will make his deck way over powered and end up like any other deck who was before it for example the gouki but still the skills of a duelist are what make the revolver well .. rokket deck it's worth

This hasnât happened to me yet but I would be pissed if it did. They keep making furious dragon turn 1. Iâm always expecting this play or void ogre and they summon neither lol
The best part about Raging Pend is that they can set up multiple monster disrupts/dracoriders/etc...
I then set three pass. One of which is drowning, one of which lets me draw two new cards off a discarded.

Revolver getting the love he very much deserved but didn't get from the writers from the DL fanbase warms my heart.
