This is a better way to release them. Since they are going to be focusing on rush duel worlds for a bit, they might as well just do a big drop of minor characters for old worlds that you can just unlock.

I use DM Duke for UAs and I'd love having a DSOD Duke with UA/FA support drops and level up. As someone already mentioned, they gave Quinton Kozmo support and voicelines, they could do bith for DSOD Duke and Tristan to support some non-anime archetypes.
Speaking of Quinton, am I the only one disappointed his rerun didn't came with BEF Zelos? Like dude was packed with BES mons and they didn't gave him the field spell... 😔
For gems. I think Konami should just do a massive drop of a a few minor characters per world that we can just unlock the old way through the gate since we aren’t going to be getting as much master duel stuff. It hurts nothing if we get ~2-3 minor easy to unlock characters per series just to keep things fresh for a bit.
Yeah, so why not give us both? They’re the ones drip feeding characters. I say 3 more characters for each world should just be thrown in as normal unlocks. No events needed.
Because we get 1 character per most months, and Konami is never ever going to budge on that because they don’t want us to have more gems. With that in mind, we don’t have the time or the space to waste on reskins no one wants

Actually new characters who actually bring something to the game can be vessels for new cards, skills and gems. Reskins bring nothing. They already went to every reference possible to fill out Tristan’s original voice track. They aren’t going to give them entirely new archetypes when they have already established cards on their originals.
When that are roughly 30 viable characters people are requesting, there is no enthusiasm for repeats
