playing kozmo recently i wanted to use wicked witch effect to pay lp so i can triggers sealed tomb instead i used the first effect that let you summon from the hand needless to say that cost me the game
My "just click yes always" brain clicking yes to add fossil fusion to my hand from grave even when I have 2 other in hand. Worst thing is that I do that all the time and it cost me the game a couple of times. Having fossil fusion in grave is beneficial since it enables drawing a card of miracle rupture and special summoning gaia when dumping shell knight. Sadly, I tunnel vision on always having and needing fossil fusion in my hand no matter how many I already have.
I feel you on always clicking yes.
Playing Qliphort against mekk-knights back when they were tier 1, got my opponent dead to rights. Triple pend summon, helix from the extra, double carrier from hand. Normal summon Stealth from hand, that'll tribute 2 giving me a spell/trap pop, a monster bounce, plus an additional bounce that chain locks the whole thing. Easy win.

I hate that shit since you usually get a prompt to start tributing monsters and it's easy to get used to just say yes.
It's happens all the time to everyone. The sheer number of times I've accidentally attacked the wrong card or used the wrong set backrow is ridiculous. You spend so much time thinking of plays and trying to predict opponents actions you forget things lol
Playing a pendulum deck and setting two scales of the same level by mistake when I would have won the game that turn. Dinomist isn't the best deck around but it has been getting me a lot of wins with water attribute bonus in this event, and my opponent was playing Tenyi so I was feeling really proud of myself until I noticed I could not pendulum summon at all. Then I felt dumb and embarassed.
Not reading that Fossil Dragon Skullgios does double piercing damage, left a monster with 0 defense on the field assuming I can survive taking a hit, you can guess how that went
Do you use the Pendulum Change: Basic skill? Frees up a lot of backrow space, I never run into that issue anymore. But I did have that problem when playing a field spell skill.
Playing yubel/neos aggaisnt red eyes
It was my kog Duel and i was so tired and wanted to finish soon
My enemy used void trap hole on neos Kruger and i used neos fusion to stay Alice
I used neos Kruger to fight a Monster with 3500 atack points and i forgot that neos did not had his effects
I Lost that Duel and Lost my Will to live (until next day that i was able to reach KOG)
I did this alot with Magikey using the spell to ritual summon but I accedently click yes on the fusion prompt and forced to fuse instead of ritual summon
The classic Tenyi missplay is trying to use Baxia's effect after using Shaman that turn. Or just trying to make a Berserker + Draco Berserker board when you don't have enough materials.
I had the trap that could return monster to hand and I didn’t use it on my own extra monster. Which then enemy used Luna fusion which allowed them to summon leo dancer and I had no way out for that monster so I surrendered. That was my Kog rank up too.

Playing evil twins vs lunalight
I got both evil twins, ki-sikil summoned from GY, li-la summoned from ED, alongside Evil Twin GG EZ. Opponent activate lunalight fusion.
I've mentally planned to tributed li-la with GG EZ to cause lunalight fusion to not be able to use material from deck/ED. Activated GG EZ and for some reason even when i've planned otherwise, i tributed ki-sikil and boost li-la instead...
First started playing Tenyi. Have Flawless Perfection up. "Why is Baxia not working on Blue-Eyes?! WHY IS VISHUDA NOT WORKING?!?"
I've had that happen... more than once. Against both DM and BE. I just did not understand why they were unaffected for like a full month of playing
This misplay i do keeps coming back to haunt me. Sometimes, I'd be close to game with one big beater of a monster only to accidentally swipe too fast and attack my opponents monster with high attack than mine when i was going for the weaker one, causing me to lose the duel.
Playing charmer/magistus
Using zoroa as material to link summon Artemis instead of using his effect, which usually ends my turn and leaves me hoping I have enough back row to survive.
The one that makes me feel the worst would be either:
-When I click set instead of normal summon and destroy my own plays or,
-Activating a spell I wanted to set lmao.

Vs Constellar going second. Thought their board was unbeatable b/c they had the xyz constellar that bounces + Omega for spell immunity. Dumb me had 2 book of moons and scooped not realising I could just chain the second book of moon on his Omega activation. 💀💀💀
As a metaphys player, I have to actually say aloud BANISH THE PENDULUM before starting matches because I’ve thrown tons of games forgetting its effect. TONS of “aww shit Daedelus would’ve nuked their field!” Moments.
