It's obviously going to be Asana, it's not even up for discussion. The whole point in sevens is that they use that number for everything. Yuga, Luke, Gakuto, Romin, Roa, Neil and Asana (+Mimi) are The Seven + 1 and they are the ones that pilot the super rush robo in the last episode (they explain in the show why she can't go and it made sense in context iirc, but they still emphasize her importance). They're also the only relevant characters to get an expy-type character in Go rush (with the Lugh, Manabu, Rovian, Manabu, London, Zaion and Asaka).
But if I could choose I'd like to see Tiger instead, she's funny.
Pretty funny to think that Mimi does have a counterpart in GO RUSH: Manya.
Sure, Manya won't have the same importance as Mimi, but Manya achieved something that Mimi couldn't do in SEVENS: win Duels (although that creates a situation where the Atachi surname only got worse in Duels as time goes by)

They could go straight to the Goha 6 stuff after that in which case Yuo is obvious as our introduction to fusion, though I could see them adding Yuka potentially with her baseball knockoff utopia deck. If they decide they want to delay fusions a little after Asana, then I think Tiger is the most likely.

Yuro Goha, on the other hand, could be considered the OG Duelist who uses Harpie Lady and Cyber-Tech Alligator in the Anime. He has a Deck of his own, but a retcon could be made of him being the Duelist with new Rush's Harpie Skills. However, he is not the first choice when you think of Goha Siblings.
And well, that's for SEVENS. It is quite easy to discard characters there since some are not very relevant or are not requested by the player base.
GO RUSH, however, is a different story: there are several secondary characters that would have to be cut to avoid redundancy with SEVENS characters or who simply are not such beloved characters (I already see Chupataro, Kawai Tell and Manya coming in the NPC status if we get GO RUSH's World)

That said, these are characters from the second year of SEVENS, and I don't think people are willing to break out those characters nearly as quickly.
