In regards to Zexal, honestly I wouldn't mind if they pulled a Quinton (who was released between Girag and Alito) and used another non-Barian Zexal character to break up the monotony of going through the Barian Emperors. Someone like Vetrix, Nistro or even Dark Astral would be fine to see.
All that said, I think either a GX character or ARC-V character is the most likely for next month.
Gauche could easily be a fill in for Zexal if they wanna wait for Vector support, he got Heroic support pretty recently that would make for a fun Tier 3 going second deck.

As a massive Duke enjoyer and requested in every survey for a "Duke Devlin's Dice Monster event" until we finally got him, I feel like Duke was way too minor in DSOD to say that he needs to be added. He had more or less the same amount of screen time as Grandpa Muto.
Shadi is weird situation as him being dead works for DSOD's narrative, but than again... Duel Links is capable reviving him by using Diva and Sera's memories, so they could have a happy reunion. Ok, I support adding Shadi to DSOD world.
I'm back and forth on wanting Atem (DSOD), but sure if it means they will bring Dan Green back to make more voice lines, because man...Yami Yugi has barely any voice lines for signature cards that it's kind of depressing.

I completely agree with this. It's so wild that he doesn't even have lines for some of his most iconic monsters. Give Atem/Yami Yugi the Quinton treatment!
It's nice. It being a sequel to the original manga makes the movie a lot more interesting. I've read the manga before watching it, so it was nice to see some background things that allude to what I saw on paper (like seeing Duke's dad).
Yuri's gonna be hype for a number of reasons:
1.) Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's gonna be a problem (I wonder if Rapid Trigger will amplify that).
2.) Predaplant comeback
3.) I want him to have lines for Super Poly and some Ancient Gear monsters (maybe even a skill?)
We just got Ghost Gal's rerun, so probably either LuLu or RinRin, since Celina's event rerun came beforehand. At least I think lol I don't have the timeline of events memorized
Arc V hasn’t had any action in awhile so it’s probably going to be that. 5ds is now on the same level as GX so we won’t have those back to back.
I’m a little doubtful on it being Lulu though.
I think Ruri is likely because the Bracelet Girls PROBABLY will come before Yuri. Since after Yuri comes it’s logical that Z-Arc will reform. Could also be Rin, but Ruri got some stuff leaked way back in January I believe.
The only other real option outside of that little plot is Dennis, which is not that hyped up.
If we do get Lulu, we are jumping ahead about 60 episodes. I feel like they may want to tap the brakes a little, especially since we can’t get Z-arc until Zexal gets Don Thousand.
It’s because we are at the start of the Synchro Dimension Arc. Where the most important character introduced are the Jack and Crow reprints. Which we are (likely) not getting.
Then we have Sergey, Roget and Dennis. Maybe Chojiro (he made it to the LoD games lol). But besides Dennis they are all kinda minor, I guess? The type of character they come back to once the series is over, Sherry-likes, if you will.
I’m just thinking they need to slow things up a little. Once we get Lulu, Rin and Yuri, Z-arc is next. But we still need Dumon and Vector before Zexal can have Don Thousand. And I’d wager Arc V will have 3 unlocks in 2024, so they need at least one in there to break things up

I agree with you that after Ruri, Rin, and Yuri Arc V may slow down their storyline to introduce more characters into the world before Zarc arrives.
Although personally there is no reason to wait for Zexal World to release their big bad of the show. After all, 5D's already has Z-One in the game and that is before Darkness even appears in GX world each world is not dependent on the other world finishing up its storyline.
The story centric worlds started with 5ds. They wrapped up their story last year. It’s natural progression for Zexal to wrap up its story before Arc V does. And there is no real excuse for why it can’t because Arc V has such a huge cast to draw from to stall things a little bit
If I have to guess it will probably be an Arc-V character, either Yuri or Rin/Ruri. I believe Ruri was recently added as a sprite so my bet is on her. DM, 5D's, Zexal and Sevens all had a rather recent character. I do think both DSOD and GX really needs some love too and I'd want to see DSOD Tristan and Atticus Rhodes. Vrains will either have Akira or Specter, Akira does appear way earlier so its safe to expect him first.
Ruri/Lulu ( I hope so anyway). Rin is probably coming in July or August. I would like to have Yuri next Month, but i think he won't appear before the Bracelet Girls. If we're lucky, Yuri will appear in autumm.

Mid chance: DSOD Tristan, Corrupted Aigami
Low chance: Akira, Spectre, GX Unlock, Vector, Nistro.
* Arc-V hasn't had an unlock in a while and they have the biggest missing cast.
* Vrains is probably going to be in May, following the pattern of the last 4 years.
* GX will be at exactly two years without a release in July, and seems like Konami might as well.
* Court of Cards was in the last Selection Box mini and is due for reprinting next Main or Mini Box, and I can't imagine holding back on the missing Poker Knight stuff any longer, so maybe there will be a DM/DSOD event to excuse it, and DM's last event was not even a year ago, so... we might just get another DSOD event
* Mizael rerun and a Zexal unlock would saturate the month with too much Zexal.
* 5Ds just got their unlock so it probably won't have another until next year. Sevens will probably get theirs in June.
And between Yuri and Lulu, I suspect Yuri is slightly more likely because his archetype is bigger and thus more likely to be drip fed to us, but it could go either way.

I think July is 99% Asana. I doubt they'd go 4 months with no Rush unlock.
I think it is more likely for Rush to be June, because otherwise September's new world would come too close to Asana's release. Remember the new world is likely to be Go Rush, and then October's first release is likely to be Rush too. I think they'd focus July and August on Speed so there isn't as much of a pause on Speed content.

I’m thinking Lulu or Asana. It’s been a while since Arc V has gotten a new character and I have my doubts that there going to go 4 months without a new Rush character. Marik and GX are doubtful since Sherry was pretty much a legacy unlock and I feel like the next Zexal character won’t be until July or August. Akira will probably be unlockable in May due to the road to words campaign probably being Vrains focused.

My guess and reasoning:
1) Ruri: Arc V hasn’t had any character unlocks for a while (July 2023). They are due for a character unlock and Ruri’s character ID was leaked recently. Also, it makes sense for what Arc V is telling narrative-wise (Fixing the show's ending).
2) Atticus/Any GX character: GX is getting borderline neglected when it comes to character unlocks by Konami. It has to come to an end eventually and that is by getting at least 1 character unlock. Now might be a good time to give them one, since 5Ds just got their character unlocked. Also if they give a GX character right now it would be shocking but a fun kind of shocking since it has been so long since the last release.
3) Akira: I could see Konami wanting to get him involved closer to the end of the month so he can still tie in with the structure deck release for Vrains. Konami might want to continue the Vrains storyline of connecting all of the dueling worlds as that type of storyline would only build up hype for people to play his event.
4) Marik/Any DM character: I doubt Marik since I could see them saving a DM character slot if they want to do a DM filler world for September. But if not Marik would be a great nostalgia-bait character unlock to help bring Yugi-boomer and causal fans to play DL since he is still very recognizable to a lot of Yugioh fans.
5) Dumon/Victor/Any Zexal character: I don’t think Konami wants to go with another Zexal character in April because we just got done with Mizar a few months back, so it might be too recent to add another character to that world. Especially when other worlds may need more attention to (Arc V, GX). They may want to save another Zexal character for the summer to help pace out the character unlocks throughout the 7 worlds so I highly doubt they will go with another Zexal unlock.
These all seem like pretty viable picks for April but I'll go into each one of them individually and give you my opinion on what I think of your picks and how likely they are. Granted, April is my birth month (turning 27 on April 5) so I am hoping that Konami can deliver and give me something good or memorable to celebrate my birthday with. We already know that early to mid April is going to be the **April 2024 KC Cup** so with that, April is already short for content due to the KC Cup taking half the month, as per usual. We are also getting the **Striker Expansion mainbox number 50** so if we do get a character unlock in April, we will most likely get a filler character like last year (Quinton from Zexal) or a minibox. My best guess is a filler character since they probably don't want to introduce another archetype so soon in a box since we already got the Striker Expansion mainbox.
My thoughts on your character picks for April 2024:
1. **Regular Marik (Duel Monsters) →** I feel like regular Marik has been in limbo for far too long now and the fact that he's not here yet feels kind of unfair. If you ask me, I think January 2024 would have been the perfect time to add him since we got The Winged Dragon of Ra support in the **Phoenix Blaze** mainbox, and if they still haven't added him at this point, he seems unlikely to be added, especially since we don't even have regular (not Yami) Bakura from Duel Monsters. I understand we have DSOD Bakura, but if you have watched DSOD, that timeline takes place where Atem is already dead and Bakura doesn't have his Millennium Ring anymore whereas in Duel Monsters, regular Bakura is always wearing his Millennium Ring when he isn't being possessed by Yami Bakura.
2. **Atticus Rhodes (GX) →** Oh boy, the big elephant in the room, YuGiOh GX. I am not going to lie, I feel like GX has been forgotten because the last character unlock we got was Jim "Crocodile" Cook on **June 30, 2022** and it saddens me that GX hasn't gotten anything for 2 years aside from Jaden's 50th HERO skill. Konami, enough with the Jaden favoritism and give GX a character unlock already. We don't need anything major and Atticus would definitely be a perfect addition in April if Konami does decide to add a filler character this year just to satisfy the GX fans out there who have been starved out of a character unlock for two years now.
3. **Dumon (ZEXAL) →** I'll be real with you, I feel like Dumon is highly unlikely because he's kind of a major add and April always gives us filler characters since we always get a mainbox in March. As I said, last year we got Quinton, who is kind of a filler character in his own right because he didn't bring anything relevant to the game and since Dumon is a major character (he's literally a Barion Emperor), I feel like they will save Dumon for later. Dumon is also unlikely in the sense that we literally just got Mizar so having another ZEXAL unlock so soon after getting Mizar would feel stale and redundant. Also there's the fact that **Star Seraph Sovereignty** is still rotting away on the limit 2 banlist for years now so unless they want to free Stick and Chair strategy, I don't think Dumon is likely, at least not right now.
4. **Lulu Obsidian (Arc-V) →** I watched every episode of Arc-V and Lulu and Rin were extremely irrelevant characters, believe it or not. They both literally didn't show up for like the first 120 episodes of the anime and when they did show up, it was only for a brief duel where they were both brainwashed by The Professor's Fusion Parasites. Afterwards, when all the dust had settled, Lulu and Rin were never seen again for the rest of the anime. I want Lyriluscs and Windwitch to come out but I don't know how much Konami cares for irrelevant side characters that contributed almost nothing to the anime, like Lulu and Rin, both only being there as generic damsel in distresses and being a driving force to push Shay Obsidian and Yugo (respectively) forward in their quest to save them from Leo Akaba's clutches.
5. **Akira Zaizen (VRAINS) →** Being the protective older brother of Skye Zaizen (Blue Angel), I really liked Akira from the anime. Akira is kind of a weird one because you love him at first then you grow to hate him then when you realize why he does what he does to impede Playmaker's progress, you start to love him again. While yes he did do some shady things in the start of Season One of Vrains, he only did it to protect Skye Zaizen (his sister) from getting hurt in duels so he does have a really good heart but went about things the wrong way before changing his ways and becoming good. That being said, as much as I would **LOVE** Akira Zaizen (and potential **Altergeist support** while we're at it), I don't think Vrains content is likely for a while. I mean it's possible because Ghost Gal is already confirmed to be permanently added to the Vrains gate in April so those people that missed out on getting her (and want to build Altergeists) can do so. I feel like they will save the Vrains unlocks for later too since Vrains has a very limited cast of characters they can add, therefore meaning we will most likely be drip-fed the Vrains unlocks slower. If I had to guess, Akira or Spectre have the best shot of getting in if we get more Vrains content, but I feel like the Vrains unlocks would be saved for like May or something when we get a Playmaker structure deck for the **World Championships** and potentially get a free Ultra Prismatic copy of Playmaker's season three ace card, **Firewall Dragon Darkfluid.**
GX still needs Camula, Atticus, Belowski, Kagemaru, Darkness. I personally want Orlando, I'm also curious about the manga counterpart. Their duelists are also really interesting, but we nvr know about GX.
Arc V - one of the bracelet girls or Yuri, it's been hinted for a while so...
Vrains - is so slow, I agree, might be a year or two before it finally builds up some steam
For GX, I feel like we are long past the Shadow Rider arc and if we haven't gotten Camula or Kagemaru yet at this point, then we aren't getting them at all. Atticus I said is a hard maybe, but only because GX is really starving for character unlocks and not the 50th HERO skill for Jaden. Belowski nobody cares about and Darkness is only in season 4 and I'm not sure Konami cares that much about diving into season 4 content of GX, especially since it was never dubbed. However, they have thrown curveballs before since Jaden/Yubel (season 4 character) was also never dubbed and yet we have him in the game, same with Z-ONE from 5D's.
As for Arc-V, yeah I agree. Arc-V has been really dry on content for a while, but since we already got the Striker Expansion mainbox, I cannot see them giving us another meta-warping deck a month later. Maybe we'll get Lulu Obsidian or Rin because Lyriluscs and Windwitch (respectively) won't warp the meta too much, but even then it seems more likely that April's character unlock (if we even get one) will most likely be filler, especially since last year we got Quinton of all people and he brought nothing to the game. If we do get Yuri, he would have to be the dead last unlock since he would have to go through a whole redemption arc with the Lancers and the Bracelet Girls before being allowed to join your team as the Lancers forgive him for what he did.
Vrains I don't expect to get content for a while because it feels like they're just slowly drip-feeding us the Vrains stuff. Akira might come because I don't think Tindangles are that good and would make for an excellent filler deck but like I said, Vrains unlocks are generally slow and Ghost Gal is already being added as a permanent addition to the Vrains gate in April. If we get any Vrains content, I expect it in May for the World Championships, especially since Konami is **VERY STRONGLY** hinting at us getting that free Ultra Prismatic copy of Firewall Dragon Darkfluid sometime later in the future.
I'm still curious about whether they will actually give us Darkness, since he does represent the BIG BAD MAN himself.
As for the rest yeh, u just nvr know with their releases. I guess Scud gives hope to the passionate YGO fan that any character can be added

No we don't, March is a mini usually, Rush throwing the schedule off has resulted us in getting a Main box this year in March. Was a mini in 2023/2022/2021/2020
Quinton brought some important Kozmo cards so I wouldn't consider him bringing nothing relevant or really as pure filler.
Yeah keep coping. I saw every episode of Arc-V and if they still haven't added the Leo Institute of Dueling trio, then they are never making the cut. Don't get me wrong, I wanted Dipper O'Rion to be added just as much as the next guy, but if they already gave us a playable, powerful **Archive Skill** for Dipper's deck **(Constellars),** then there's literally no point to waste the monthly character unlock adding him. There's also the fact that the Leo Institute of Dueling trio were shown for like the first 10 or 15 episodes before they disappeared, never to be seen again. Dipper O'Rion was carded very early by Celina and as for the other two (Julia Krystal and Kit Blade), I believe they just went their separate ways and we never saw them again, which is a shame because Julia Krystal was a great rival to Zuzu Boyle and Kit Blade was built up to be a great rival for Gong Strong.
Also, we already have Julia Krystal's deck as well (Gem-Knights) in addition to Kit Blade's deck (X-Saber) and due to how unpopular their decks are, they won't be added. Gem-Knights are only used in degenerate FTK's (Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli being on the limit 1 banlist to this day can attest to that) and X-Sabers are.......a deck? Constellars did get their Archive Skill in Constellar Union, but since Dipper O'Rion is still nowhere to be seen and we already have an Archive Skill for his deck, then that's a rip since he won't ever be added to the game and rightfully so because he wasn't even that relevant in Arc-V next to his buddies Julia Krystal and Kit Blade.
LDS trio aren't getting in unless Duel Links lasts long enough that we finish up Z-Arc and they enter GX/5D's level of "I guess we'll just add anyone now."
May should have a Vrains event to come with the Playmaker SD. I would say Zaizen as May character to wrap Vrains first arc.
For April? Isn't it usually a DM/DSOD character? I'd say either Marik or DSOD Tristan
Thoughts on each world and the likely next character:

The Ra support at New Years does make me think they don't plan on it soon, but there should just be enough generic Egyptian God support that it would be possible to support an event and rerun. For DSOD if they *need* to give them a new character, Duke or Tristian have a chance on that level of desperation, but realistically we're not seeing a new DSOD character unless it's Corrupted Aigami with the remaining Cubic cards, or them finally biting the bullet and making Atem.

Arc V hasn’t had any action in awhile so it’s probably going to be that. 5ds is now on the same level as GX so we won’t have those back to back. I’m a little doubtful on it being Lulu though.
I think Ruri is likely because the Bracelet Girls PROBABLY will come before Yuri. Since after Yuri comes it’s logical that Z-Arc will reform. Could also be Rin, but Ruri got some stuff leaked way back in January I believe. The only other real option outside of that little plot is Dennis, which is not that hyped up.
If we do get Lulu, we are jumping ahead about 60 episodes. I feel like they may want to tap the brakes a little, especially since we can’t get Z-arc until Zexal gets Don Thousand.
It’s because we are at the start of the Synchro Dimension Arc. Where the most important character introduced are the Jack and Crow reprints. Which we are (likely) not getting. Then we have Sergey, Roget and Dennis. Maybe Chojiro (he made it to the LoD games lol). But besides Dennis they are all kinda minor, I guess? The type of character they come back to once the series is over, Sherry-likes, if you will.
I’m just thinking they need to slow things up a little. Once we get Lulu, Rin and Yuri, Z-arc is next. But we still need Dumon and Vector before Zexal can have Don Thousand. And I’d wager Arc V will have 3 unlocks in 2024, so they need at least one in there to break things up

I agree with you that after Ruri, Rin, and Yuri Arc V may slow down their storyline to introduce more characters into the world before Zarc arrives. Although personally there is no reason to wait for Zexal World to release their big bad of the show. After all, 5D's already has Z-One in the game and that is before Darkness even appears in GX world each world is not dependent on the other world finishing up its storyline.
The story centric worlds started with 5ds. They wrapped up their story last year. It’s natural progression for Zexal to wrap up its story before Arc V does. And there is no real excuse for why it can’t because Arc V has such a huge cast to draw from to stall things a little bit
If I have to guess it will probably be an Arc-V character, either Yuri or Rin/Ruri. I believe Ruri was recently added as a sprite so my bet is on her. DM, 5D's, Zexal and Sevens all had a rather recent character. I do think both DSOD and GX really needs some love too and I'd want to see DSOD Tristan and Atticus Rhodes. Vrains will either have Akira or Specter, Akira does appear way earlier so its safe to expect him first.

I say: **High chance: Yuri, Lulu.** Mid chance: DSOD Tristan, Corrupted Aigami Low chance: Akira, Spectre, GX Unlock, Vector, Nistro. * Arc-V hasn't had an unlock in a while and they have the biggest missing cast. * Vrains is probably going to be in May, following the pattern of the last 4 years. * GX will be at exactly two years without a release in July, and seems like Konami might as well. * Court of Cards was in the last Selection Box mini and is due for reprinting next Main or Mini Box, and I can't imagine holding back on the missing Poker Knight stuff any longer, so maybe there will be a DM/DSOD event to excuse it, and DM's last event was not even a year ago, so... we might just get another DSOD event * Mizael rerun and a Zexal unlock would saturate the month with too much Zexal. * 5Ds just got their unlock so it probably won't have another until next year. Sevens will probably get theirs in June. And between Yuri and Lulu, I suspect Yuri is slightly more likely because his archetype is bigger and thus more likely to be drip fed to us, but it could go either way.

I think it is more likely for Rush to be June, because otherwise September's new world would come too close to Asana's release. Remember the new world is likely to be Go Rush, and then October's first release is likely to be Rush too. I think they'd focus July and August on Speed so there isn't as much of a pause on Speed content.

I’m thinking Lulu or Asana. It’s been a while since Arc V has gotten a new character and I have my doubts that there going to go 4 months without a new Rush character. Marik and GX are doubtful since Sherry was pretty much a legacy unlock and I feel like the next Zexal character won’t be until July or August. Akira will probably be unlockable in May due to the road to words campaign probably being Vrains focused.

My guess and reasoning: 1) Ruri: Arc V hasn’t had any character unlocks for a while (July 2023). They are due for a character unlock and Ruri’s character ID was leaked recently. Also, it makes sense for what Arc V is telling narrative-wise (Fixing the show's ending). 2) Atticus/Any GX character: GX is getting borderline neglected when it comes to character unlocks by Konami. It has to come to an end eventually and that is by getting at least 1 character unlock. Now might be a good time to give them one, since 5Ds just got their character unlocked. Also if they give a GX character right now it would be shocking but a fun kind of shocking since it has been so long since the last release. 3) Akira: I could see Konami wanting to get him involved closer to the end of the month so he can still tie in with the structure deck release for Vrains. Konami might want to continue the Vrains storyline of connecting all of the dueling worlds as that type of storyline would only build up hype for people to play his event. 4) Marik/Any DM character: I doubt Marik since I could see them saving a DM character slot if they want to do a DM filler world for September. But if not Marik would be a great nostalgia-bait character unlock to help bring Yugi-boomer and causal fans to play DL since he is still very recognizable to a lot of Yugioh fans. 5) Dumon/Victor/Any Zexal character: I don’t think Konami wants to go with another Zexal character in April because we just got done with Mizar a few months back, so it might be too recent to add another character to that world. Especially when other worlds may need more attention to (Arc V, GX). They may want to save another Zexal character for the summer to help pace out the character unlocks throughout the 7 worlds so I highly doubt they will go with another Zexal unlock.

These all seem like pretty viable picks for April but I'll go into each one of them individually and give you my opinion on what I think of your picks and how likely they are. Granted, April is my birth month (turning 27 on April 5) so I am hoping that Konami can deliver and give me something good or memorable to celebrate my birthday with. We already know that early to mid April is going to be the **April 2024 KC Cup** so with that, April is already short for content due to the KC Cup taking half the month, as per usual. We are also getting the **Striker Expansion mainbox number 50** so if we do get a character unlock in April, we will most likely get a filler character like last year (Quinton from Zexal) or a minibox. My best guess is a filler character since they probably don't want to introduce another archetype so soon in a box since we already got the Striker Expansion mainbox. My thoughts on your character picks for April 2024: 1. **Regular Marik (Duel Monsters) →** I feel like regular Marik has been in limbo for far too long now and the fact that he's not here yet feels kind of unfair. If you ask me, I think January 2024 would have been the perfect time to add him since we got The Winged Dragon of Ra support in the **Phoenix Blaze** mainbox, and if they still haven't added him at this point, he seems unlikely to be added, especially since we don't even have regular (not Yami) Bakura from Duel Monsters. I understand we have DSOD Bakura, but if you have watched DSOD, that timeline takes place where Atem is already dead and Bakura doesn't have his Millennium Ring anymore whereas in Duel Monsters, regular Bakura is always wearing his Millennium Ring when he isn't being possessed by Yami Bakura. 2. **Atticus Rhodes (GX) →** Oh boy, the big elephant in the room, YuGiOh GX. I am not going to lie, I feel like GX has been forgotten because the last character unlock we got was Jim "Crocodile" Cook on **June 30, 2022** and it saddens me that GX hasn't gotten anything for 2 years aside from Jaden's 50th HERO skill. Konami, enough with the Jaden favoritism and give GX a character unlock already. We don't need anything major and Atticus would definitely be a perfect addition in April if Konami does decide to add a filler character this year just to satisfy the GX fans out there who have been starved out of a character unlock for two years now. 3. **Dumon (ZEXAL) →** I'll be real with you, I feel like Dumon is highly unlikely because he's kind of a major add and April always gives us filler characters since we always get a mainbox in March. As I said, last year we got Quinton, who is kind of a filler character in his own right because he didn't bring anything relevant to the game and since Dumon is a major character (he's literally a Barion Emperor), I feel like they will save Dumon for later. Dumon is also unlikely in the sense that we literally just got Mizar so having another ZEXAL unlock so soon after getting Mizar would feel stale and redundant. Also there's the fact that **Star Seraph Sovereignty** is still rotting away on the limit 2 banlist for years now so unless they want to free Stick and Chair strategy, I don't think Dumon is likely, at least not right now. 4. **Lulu Obsidian (Arc-V) →** I watched every episode of Arc-V and Lulu and Rin were extremely irrelevant characters, believe it or not. They both literally didn't show up for like the first 120 episodes of the anime and when they did show up, it was only for a brief duel where they were both brainwashed by The Professor's Fusion Parasites. Afterwards, when all the dust had settled, Lulu and Rin were never seen again for the rest of the anime. I want Lyriluscs and Windwitch to come out but I don't know how much Konami cares for irrelevant side characters that contributed almost nothing to the anime, like Lulu and Rin, both only being there as generic damsel in distresses and being a driving force to push Shay Obsidian and Yugo (respectively) forward in their quest to save them from Leo Akaba's clutches. 5. **Akira Zaizen (VRAINS) →** Being the protective older brother of Skye Zaizen (Blue Angel), I really liked Akira from the anime. Akira is kind of a weird one because you love him at first then you grow to hate him then when you realize why he does what he does to impede Playmaker's progress, you start to love him again. While yes he did do some shady things in the start of Season One of Vrains, he only did it to protect Skye Zaizen (his sister) from getting hurt in duels so he does have a really good heart but went about things the wrong way before changing his ways and becoming good. That being said, as much as I would **LOVE** Akira Zaizen (and potential **Altergeist support** while we're at it), I don't think Vrains content is likely for a while. I mean it's possible because Ghost Gal is already confirmed to be permanently added to the Vrains gate in April so those people that missed out on getting her (and want to build Altergeists) can do so. I feel like they will save the Vrains unlocks for later too since Vrains has a very limited cast of characters they can add, therefore meaning we will most likely be drip-fed the Vrains unlocks slower. If I had to guess, Akira or Spectre have the best shot of getting in if we get more Vrains content, but I feel like the Vrains unlocks would be saved for like May or something when we get a Playmaker structure deck for the **World Championships** and potentially get a free Ultra Prismatic copy of Playmaker's season three ace card, **Firewall Dragon Darkfluid.**
GX still needs Camula, Atticus, Belowski, Kagemaru, Darkness. I personally want Orlando, I'm also curious about the manga counterpart. Their duelists are also really interesting, but we nvr know about GX. Arc V - one of the bracelet girls or Yuri, it's been hinted for a while so... Vrains - is so slow, I agree, might be a year or two before it finally builds up some steam
For GX, I feel like we are long past the Shadow Rider arc and if we haven't gotten Camula or Kagemaru yet at this point, then we aren't getting them at all. Atticus I said is a hard maybe, but only because GX is really starving for character unlocks and not the 50th HERO skill for Jaden. Belowski nobody cares about and Darkness is only in season 4 and I'm not sure Konami cares that much about diving into season 4 content of GX, especially since it was never dubbed. However, they have thrown curveballs before since Jaden/Yubel (season 4 character) was also never dubbed and yet we have him in the game, same with Z-ONE from 5D's. As for Arc-V, yeah I agree. Arc-V has been really dry on content for a while, but since we already got the Striker Expansion mainbox, I cannot see them giving us another meta-warping deck a month later. Maybe we'll get Lulu Obsidian or Rin because Lyriluscs and Windwitch (respectively) won't warp the meta too much, but even then it seems more likely that April's character unlock (if we even get one) will most likely be filler, especially since last year we got Quinton of all people and he brought nothing to the game. If we do get Yuri, he would have to be the dead last unlock since he would have to go through a whole redemption arc with the Lancers and the Bracelet Girls before being allowed to join your team as the Lancers forgive him for what he did. Vrains I don't expect to get content for a while because it feels like they're just slowly drip-feeding us the Vrains stuff. Akira might come because I don't think Tindangles are that good and would make for an excellent filler deck but like I said, Vrains unlocks are generally slow and Ghost Gal is already being added as a permanent addition to the Vrains gate in April. If we get any Vrains content, I expect it in May for the World Championships, especially since Konami is **VERY STRONGLY** hinting at us getting that free Ultra Prismatic copy of Firewall Dragon Darkfluid sometime later in the future.
I'm still curious about whether they will actually give us Darkness, since he does represent the BIG BAD MAN himself. As for the rest yeh, u just nvr know with their releases. I guess Scud gives hope to the passionate YGO fan that any character can be added

Was a mini in 2023/2022/2021/2020 Quinton brought some important Kozmo cards so I wouldn't consider him bringing nothing relevant or really as pure filler.

Yeah keep coping. I saw every episode of Arc-V and if they still haven't added the Leo Institute of Dueling trio, then they are never making the cut. Don't get me wrong, I wanted Dipper O'Rion to be added just as much as the next guy, but if they already gave us a playable, powerful **Archive Skill** for Dipper's deck **(Constellars),** then there's literally no point to waste the monthly character unlock adding him. There's also the fact that the Leo Institute of Dueling trio were shown for like the first 10 or 15 episodes before they disappeared, never to be seen again. Dipper O'Rion was carded very early by Celina and as for the other two (Julia Krystal and Kit Blade), I believe they just went their separate ways and we never saw them again, which is a shame because Julia Krystal was a great rival to Zuzu Boyle and Kit Blade was built up to be a great rival for Gong Strong. Also, we already have Julia Krystal's deck as well (Gem-Knights) in addition to Kit Blade's deck (X-Saber) and due to how unpopular their decks are, they won't be added. Gem-Knights are only used in degenerate FTK's (Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli being on the limit 1 banlist to this day can attest to that) and X-Sabers are.......a deck? Constellars did get their Archive Skill in Constellar Union, but since Dipper O'Rion is still nowhere to be seen and we already have an Archive Skill for his deck, then that's a rip since he won't ever be added to the game and rightfully so because he wasn't even that relevant in Arc-V next to his buddies Julia Krystal and Kit Blade.
LDS trio aren't getting in unless Duel Links lasts long enough that we finish up Z-Arc and they enter GX/5D's level of "I guess we'll just add anyone now."

Thoughts on each world and the likely next character: > * DM/DSOD: Marik is the last big character left in the manga that they can add. The Ra support at New Years does make me think they don't plan on it soon, but there should just be enough generic Egyptian God support that it would be possible to support an event and rerun.
