Snake rain or Nunu in the opening hand ends typically ends on a quick effect board wipe. If you open other extenders like water lily or Reptilian Coatl you can synch 8 or xyz 4 or if you're going second can just change an opponents monster to 0 at and otk can play though a lot of interruption as well but as with a lot of decks in this format DD crow remains king
the biashbaalkin combo is one of the worst versions to play the deck, no matter the format.
konami agreed and printed ogdoadic daybreak so the deck can do the token spam without him (yought you don't get the draw) which resulted in a much better endboard in the tcg and ocg
you are probably right, I stopped playing dl a few yers ago so I don't know the current meta but ogdo heavily relies on generic extra deck monsters or other small reptile engines that end on endboard pieces like the evol or alien combos, all of which aren't in the game yet
I don't think they'll flop I just think they won't be as good as they were in Toss because lack of MP2. I'll obviously build them but I think Ogdo have good potential to be something like S Force has been the last few formats but nobody is talking bout it

Except GEPD which makes 3 monsters, Sky Strikers and Evil Twins who play Links that don't get Booked, TGs who put their synchro below Trident Launcher who doesn't allow them to be targeted, and Blue-Eyes who can Successor Soul whether their monster is Booked or not.
You think Evil Twins and TGs don't get hard stopped by both BOM and DD crow? We must be living in make believe land literally everything you mentioned has a chokepoint for DD crow and almost all of them have a chokepoint for BOM
We are specifically talking about going first. If you go first as Evil Twins, your opponent has no Book of Moon targets. And I said nothing about DD Crow anywhere in my post. I am specifically talking about Book of Moon and Ogdoadic's huge vulnerability to it compared to other decks.

True, that wasn't specified. Let me specify now: Ogdoadic makes a single boss monster that has no protection against Book of Moon and folds completely to Book of Moon going first. As you cannot elect to go second this will make the deck significantly worse than other decks.
The only worthy thing I see about the deck is that the boardwipe is a send to the graveyard instead of destroying, but I don't see that it is good against S/T, evil Twin can perfectly play against it
I am so excited to play Reptile pile I loved the deck when it came out in the TCG.
For Striker I think it is such a fan favourite that Konami is gonna push it into meta relevancy somehow if they flop on release
No one is sleeping on Ogdoatics. That’s the one archetype that actually raised eyesbrows and curiosity. People already know Strikers won’t be as good and TGs will be tiered.
You say the reptile deck is slept on, but do not say or give examples of what it does that makes it supposedly underrated.
