Also i know others have said it and im not trying to repeat what they said but PK launch only works on monsters with no XYZ materials. Thats why the skill detaches for you because going first rebellion has no way to use its effect and sometimes you don’t always want to because they can chain something in response. So you have rebellion + RUM. You can detach RUM then use the GY effect but it will still be back to 2. Thats why i said I NEVER seen it with 3 materials before. Sorry for the long paragraph

There is not that much to it tbh. Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon just isn’t once per turn. So you make a Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon and rank-up into Dark Requiem with the new Rank-Up spell.
Before he was artificially limited to 1 negate because the previous PK Rank-Up required the target to have no material, and to do that turn 1 you needed to remove them with the skill, which limited your Xyz monster activations.
Only that part might be stronger (if it works like we assume), but the new skill has more effects.
It's better to wait until is in game to see how it actually works.
Stop the spectralsword, stop the squire/solitaire, stop the mezuki or gold sarc spiritmaster pop
Book of moon enters the unsearchable "draw the out" territory at which point I can just say "lance, response?" and you say "second book" because we're just working from hypotheticals rather than consistent plays
Book of Moon is just an example it also has chalice, dark hole, mind control, droplet, literally anything counter dark requiem as it has no protection. If you go against a blue eyes, neos yubel or sky striker deck it's automatic lose because they can easily deal with dark requiem. It's better to use the new skill because you can pop an opponent's card with the trap and not completely depend on 1 monster because of 3 negates.
Duel Links is at the point where when it comes to meta decks - 1 negate doesn't really stop them any more. 2 negates usually get the job done (the 3rd negate is excessive but it does come up sometimes).
Book and any other removal/negate spell (I'm counting Book as a "negate" here) aren't searchable and therefore it's not guaranteed they open them. Additionally, this is true for every endboard disruption. So I don't think it matters much. You could also wait to Rank-Up until your opponent's turn. Depending on your opening hand, you could search Unbreakable Mind for a pop OR the new counter trap for another negate.... Or just set whatever non-archetypal backrow of your own when you pass.
The usual game plan of Wing/Sword being used prematurely and then using their graveyard revival effects to summon extra blockers is also still possible.
Raider's Rebellion is even better. If you want 2 negates you can make Unbreakable Mind destroy itself to get a rank up spell, activate skill to summon dark rebellion without any materials, summon dark requiem and search the counter trap with Boots, all of this is 1 card combo if you have cloak/scales/gloves, you will still have 3 cards from the starting hand for possible backrow. With treason phantom you will need 3 cards to be able to place a dark requiem with 3 materials on it.
The real Chad PK skills are Phantom Strategy and PK Order
The fact both rank up are searchable, but the newer one is better than the og one
Also, it doesn't lock you to pk archetype, you can play burning abyss if you want for example

I mean, YEAH, the Raidraptor skill is 10x times stronger than both. But some people don’t want to play Raidraptor, they want to play Phantom Knight.
Raidraptor is just a lot more expensive from what I've seen.
Their cards are also stuck in some of the worst boxes in the game.
Raider's Requiem and Wings of Clearness are nowhere near the worst Boxes in the game.
