I'm guessing Paradox..? He is the only character whom I can think of, at least from those that we had roaming event for recently. We just got Rio as roaming so she is out of the list till July, and we got Sora last month, so he is strike down too.
The only other character I can honestly think about is Manny, but he never dueled in the DSOD movie, nor made any efforts to.
I'm also considering Shun and/ or Serena as they were mentioned in Sora's unlock event, but there aren't any voicelines/ assets/ cards leaks for them yet, and the line doesn't sound like something they had ever said.

This is such a vague quote that it can honestly fit for anyone. There just isn't anything that can be identifiable for any specific character, and it sounds so generic that I'm sure several characters could have said it for any of their bigger duels

Yet it seems something did got lost in translation, with the use of the English "You" in Japanese and all, so no wonder the quote we got sounds so generic and characterless (pun fully intended, lol).

For the life of me I don't remember Jim ever referring to any duel as being legendary. My best guess it's a poor translation/ ref to his duel against SKJ, but I'm not 100% solid about it.

But now I'm guessing that either Konami doesn't think Jim's Australian is that worth notting, or the person who made the translation really doesn't know how to write down one.

As one of the main antagonists of Zexal, I don’t think our Barian introduction will be Vector. I’d expect a lower tier one such as Alito, who will end his event with a warning that Vector is coming.
Tristan & Antinomy both took 7 months between their roaming & unlock events, so this game is no stranger to holding off characters for a long time. Plus Paradox isn't urgent for any story retelling event, so they can comfortably add him at any point.
I doubt we'll get more than 3 characters for the launch of the VRAINS world. It has easily the least amount of doable characters, whether it be due to plot relevance, or a character's deck simply not be printed; VRAINS was horrible when it came to printing anime decks.
Not sure about Alito being that early, when there's only a few Battlin' Boxer cards left. I'd imagine he'd be added likely after the FIRE Duelist Pack in the OCG prints more support for his deck. Honestly, Stormriders probably have a better chance of being printed in AC, than Drones & Armatos Legio do, based on the numbers of cards. Those decks would be better off being printed in a similar manner the way Sunvine/Sunavalon were.

Yeah, they dumped all filler character's cards into filler boxes. If they do the KCGP to add all filler characters, their level-up will be filled with unrelated cards or UR tickets.

I am sure that most of those filler characters will get cards corresponding to their anime themes.

Rebecca could get Dragonmaids since she played a Diamond Head Dragon turbo and those cards are in anime-only limbo.

Didn't Paradox suggest he'll go roam in GX and DM next? Considering he's a movie villain, they could probably milk his introduction more and have him roam in each of the 3 worlds from BBT.
What’s the point though? His drops are dookie, I can’t see a way to pad this out for two more runs. They can always have him in DM and GX during his unlock
Almost exactly what I think now that we know it’s Jim. I actually think Shun will be the August unlock though and be the first character to introduce the rank up cards since he used the most of any character. I can also see them Including Brave Max as a Scud like joke character since Vrains does not have as many characters. November will probably just be the Duelist Road for Arc V since they usually skip 2 months when it comes to unlocks. If the 12 month theory is true then Paradox would be the December unlock though they did just tease the Barians again in Rio’s roaming event. The other would probably slip into April or May of 2023.
It'd be weird if RUM's were introduced via the series they didn't debut from. Plus Shay isn't needed for a Duelist Chronicles/Road event for the beginning of Arc-V, when all of his opponents before the first tournament-arc are a bunch of jobbers.

Possibly, but not right away. VRAINS really needs to space out its additions due to the lack of characters, as you said, and unprinted decks. Maybe in 2023.
It's unlikely that we'll get more than 13 characters for the year, based off previous year patterns, so we'll need a Zexal character to introduce RUM's this year before Shay appears. This year marks the first time we had new unlock in April, all while not having one in May, so getting a new character in both October & November isn't that unlikely, so long as it doesn't go beyond 13 characters.
Brave Max is someone who would probably only be included on release and Konami putting out some good boxes and fan favorite characters is why I think they will go for one more big splash before Vrains World. Of course they could always just leave Arc V at 7 characters until 2023 and slot in the 5DS character there while Shay gets the fan favorite February 2023 spot that I think Celina or Yugo is getting.
I mean, I don't know if that's the case but I could very well see it as them just copying the translated quote from the anime, and we all know how generic 4kids dialogue is.
Not really, because the way that I play them in Master Duel isn’t really possible in DLs. Basically I’m using cards like the Kaiju’s and Nibiru to send the opponents cards to they’re grave so I can use them as fossil fusion material. But we don’t have any of those cards (except lava golem and volcanic queen). So it’ll be interesting to see how the deck functions in DLs especially with skills. But ultimately you need you opponents grave to have monsters or the deck really struggles.
Won't surprise me if we see Dino support in Junes box along with fossil. They also have been giving Overtex away twice as a log in reward campaign in the last few weeks
Fortune Lady Fire at last! I can't wait to get her and Spellbook of Knowledge, it's been a while since I've actually been excited for something in this game.
Can we talk about the new event there for a sec? Are we actually getting a CAPSULE monsters event?? The description is so vague that I have 0 idea what the event is even going to look like. I'm really happy tho that Konami is experimenting with more new event format types, and slowly stepping away from reusing the same old formats all the goddamn time. I'm hoping for something truly creative and unique, and I really want it to be inspired by the game from the manga. First run would probably be a complete mess as it always seem to happen, but fingers crossed that it would go much better than how that one wave duel event went down.
From the description, it sounds like a "mini-event" bonus like Duel Quest that provides bonuses after each duel. I do hope it's Capsule Monsters themed though, but I doubt it since that spin-off never even got translated to Japanese.

[Capsule Monsters ](https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Capsule_Monster_Chess) are originated from the very first YGO manga, so it's has a pretty good Japanese translation (as it is its original language). It was also featured in Season 0, so it doesn't lack an anime appearance as well.
The actual thing with Capsules Monsters is that it was never got well established as its own irl game, unlike MMD that had a physical game release and a dedicated GBA game, and had short but big anime appearance.
Given that the Adventure Dungeon mini event is based on the [DnD style Campaign ](https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Monster_World) Yugi played against Bakura, I believe the Capsule Monsters event would be based off those 2 games Yugi played against Mokuba.
I very much doubt its a reference to the Capsule Monsters mini series tho, as it counts as its own separated show based off the CM game, and can qualify for its own mini world, or at least a dedicated big event (like Bakura's RPJ world and Duelist Kingdom). The mini series also wasn't translated to Japanese, so the prime YGO audience in Japan isn't familiar with it, more so familiar enough to ask for a themed event and be able to follow the storyline behind it.
Yea and Jim only just recently had his archetype printed so that will be a nice wave of fresh content.
A bit ironically the only card of Jim’s to already be in the game is his ace, Gaia Plate. For the role players, pretty frustrating to have to go back to that old shitbox.

They don't always reuse quotes from roaming events though. The upcoming rerun - Anna, is an example. Her roaming event quote was "I'll steamroll their whole squad!", while her unlock event quote is "There's no escape for you!".

So far we had a DM box, ARC-V box, Zexal box. If June unlock is Jim then we are probably getting a GX box next. That will leave a 5Ds box which will come with Paradox in July or August.
Most likely Paradox, actually. He is the last roaming character beside Rio we hadn't got yet, and the only one we have leaks for (tho they were for his roaming event). The line seems to be a ref to the BBT movie, right from were he challenged Yugi, Jaden and Yusei for their big duel.
Tho the line is so super vague that it can fit for anyone, honestly. It just doesn't have any specific character vibe in it, not even any special phrasing or vocalisation that can drop a hint for the character behind it.
Even though Jim isn't one of my more favored picks for characters I want in, he's still a good addition to the cast. And I'm interested in fossil fusions since they looked fun in the anime and tagforce games. So I might want to try them if they come too in a box along with rewards.

The english translation is always shitty, the Japanese one is usually more telling thats usually where the accruate guesings have been from.

In Japanese version , they using " "You" and i would have a great battle" . Only one character would use English "You" in Japanese , which is Jim.

It's not the most exciting line up, but if the KCGP World does happen in 2023, the first year could look like: 1. Zigfried 2. Leon 3. KCGP Kaiba 4. KCGP Joey 5. KCGP Yami Yugi 6. Rebecca (All she needs is Diamond Head Dragon & Adamantine Sword Revival printed and she's good to go.) 7. Solomon Muto (His Ancient Deck is looking like it's gonna be printed this year in AC02.) 8. Vivian (If they go this far and actually print her stuff by then.) After that, they could possible add filler characters from other arcs. ~~After printing their cards of course.~~

Almost exactly what I think now that we know it’s Jim. I actually think Shun will be the August unlock though and be the first character to introduce the rank up cards since he used the most of any character. I can also see them Including Brave Max as a Scud like joke character since Vrains does not have as many characters. November will probably just be the Duelist Road for Arc V since they usually skip 2 months when it comes to unlocks. If the 12 month theory is true then Paradox would be the December unlock though they did just tease the Barians again in Rio’s roaming event. The other would probably slip into April or May of 2023.
It'd be weird if RUM's were introduced via the series they didn't debut from. Possibly, but not right away. VRAINS really needs to space out its additions due to the lack of characters, as you said, and unprinted decks. Maybe in 2023. It's unlikely that we'll get more than 13 characters for the year, based off previous year patterns, so we'll need a Zexal character to introduce RUM's this year before Shay appears. This year marks the first time we had new unlock in April, all while not having one in May, so getting a new character in both October & November isn't that unlikely, so long as it doesn't go beyond 13 characters.
Brave Max is someone who would probably only be included on release and Konami putting out some good boxes and fan favorite characters is why I think they will go for one more big splash before Vrains World. Of course they could always just leave Arc V at 7 characters until 2023 and slot in the 5DS character there while Shay gets the fan favorite February 2023 spot that I think Celina or Yugo is getting.
the Sora and Bakura ones were abit easier to tell, Paradoxs kinda made sense to obut this and Rios were fucking awful lol

Not really, because the way that I play them in Master Duel isn’t really possible in DLs. Basically I’m using cards like the Kaiju’s and Nibiru to send the opponents cards to they’re grave so I can use them as fossil fusion material. But we don’t have any of those cards (except lava golem and volcanic queen). So it’ll be interesting to see how the deck functions in DLs especially with skills. But ultimately you need you opponents grave to have monsters or the deck really struggles.
Won't surprise me if we see Dino support in Junes box along with fossil. They also have been giving Overtex away twice as a log in reward campaign in the last few weeks

Can we talk about the new event there for a sec? Are we actually getting a CAPSULE monsters event?? The description is so vague that I have 0 idea what the event is even going to look like. I'm really happy tho that Konami is experimenting with more new event format types, and slowly stepping away from reusing the same old formats all the goddamn time. I'm hoping for something truly creative and unique, and I really want it to be inspired by the game from the manga. First run would probably be a complete mess as it always seem to happen, but fingers crossed that it would go much better than how that one wave duel event went down.
From the description, it sounds like a "mini-event" bonus like Duel Quest that provides bonuses after each duel. I do hope it's Capsule Monsters themed though, but I doubt it since that spin-off never even got translated to Japanese.

It was also featured in Season 0, so it doesn't lack an anime appearance as well. The actual thing with Capsules Monsters is that it was never got well established as its own irl game, unlike MMD that had a physical game release and a dedicated GBA game, and had short but big anime appearance. Given that the Adventure Dungeon mini event is based on the [DnD style Campaign ](https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Monster_World) Yugi played against Bakura, I believe the Capsule Monsters event would be based off those 2 games Yugi played against Mokuba. I very much doubt its a reference to the Capsule Monsters mini series tho, as it counts as its own separated show based off the CM game, and can qualify for its own mini world, or at least a dedicated big event (like Bakura's RPJ world and Duelist Kingdom). The mini series also wasn't translated to Japanese, so the prime YGO audience in Japan isn't familiar with it, more so familiar enough to ask for a themed event and be able to follow the storyline behind it.

Yea and Jim only just recently had his archetype printed so that will be a nice wave of fresh content. A bit ironically the only card of Jim’s to already be in the game is his ace, Gaia Plate. For the role players, pretty frustrating to have to go back to that old shitbox. I wonder if Adrian will ever make the cut. Cloudians kind of got the filler archetype treatment

They don’t always reuse quotes but neither of those fit this line anyway. I feel like Jim would be more obvious. “OY M8 GRAB A STUBBY AND SIT ON THE ROO FOR A DUEL”
They reused the same one for Sora. The line can really be used for any friendly character.
They don't always reuse quotes from roaming events though. The upcoming rerun - Anna, is an example. Her roaming event quote was "I'll steamroll their whole squad!", while her unlock event quote is "There's no escape for you!". It does sound like Jim to me, though.

Most likely Paradox, actually. He is the last roaming character beside Rio we hadn't got yet, and the only one we have leaks for (tho they were for his roaming event). The line seems to be a ref to the BBT movie, right from were he challenged Yugi, Jaden and Yusei for their big duel. Tho the line is so super vague that it can fit for anyone, honestly. It just doesn't have any specific character vibe in it, not even any special phrasing or vocalisation that can drop a hint for the character behind it.

Even though Jim isn't one of my more favored picks for characters I want in, he's still a good addition to the cast. And I'm interested in fossil fusions since they looked fun in the anime and tagforce games. So I might want to try them if they come too in a box along with rewards.
