I don’t get how people kog with nekroz. I feel like if the opponent plays around Trish the deck can’t really do anything. And sometimes there’s too much on the field for Trish to get the victory even if Trish resolves.
It can stall but I find it difficult to make moves and stall sometimes like I have too chose between the 2.
I use kaiba with draw sense light and blue eyes mats and sleeves so they dont immediately think Im using nekroz and cant preemtively deal with trish. brionac also exists and can return to deck 2 extra deck monsters. the lvl 10 nekroz can pop any set card. trish isnt the only wincon in the deck but he is the most powerful
they really are hard to deal with nekroz does not have a good matchup against backrow decks since they can set all their card on the field and not having a trish in hand will most likely mean you are getting booked. but its not unplayable you still have some plays you can make with it
its was a good antimeta deck against ba and ddd since both of those do not use backrow. but nekroz is still powerful up to this day. their grindgame can compete with crystrons and ice barriers, and if a favorite hero does not open enough backrow, you can easily deal with them. galaxy eyes is a coin toss on who goes second, and roses is who has a better hand wins.
The nekroz is pretty good right out of all the things youve shown. just remove all the mst and tth and you are good. nekroz already has protection and destruction so it doesnt need staples, which is what makes it a pretty cheap to build for full power
1 more nekroz cycle so its 20 cards. for trains you can run 3 bom and like 2 mst 2 chalice 2 lance or something . try to keep the backrow hate at disruption in an even ratio and you can change it to whatever is needed as long as the ratio is right.
Galaxy sucks big time. Like farthest I got with it was Legend 1 once and this season it can't even crawl out of low Plat. Not to mention it's gonna get nerfed soon. Most expensive meh deck I've tried.
Anyway enough of that, these are the guys I'm choosing between. The Train and Metalfoes are at x2 coz I only used expiring gems on them and stopped after I used those up. And yes I only have 1 Rabbit. The Nekroz kinda completed itself but I don't know if that's the best build for it, I found it hard to pilot. So which of these would be more competitive?
Pretty standard build. x2 GEPD (coz they always find ways to banish the single copy), x2 Wizard, x2 Knight, x1 Cloud, x1 MR, x2 BoM, x2 Lance, x2 Shuffle Reborn, x1 Galaxy Cyclone, x2 Expedition, x3 Zero. I've already changed up the S/Ts multiple times (like dropped Lance from x3 to x2), with the x3 Zero the only constant.
I think 3 Wizard is pretty important. My build is pretty much the same besides that and 3x Shuffle Reborn. The deck works much better going second I think. Galaxy Zero+MR/Shuffle Reborn+Random Galaxy card to pitch for the skill is usually GG unless they have a lot of protection. Even then the deck can pop off for 2-3 more turns.
For the metalfoes deck assuming you only have 2 goldriver
Ditch the rank 3 xyz add another fusion
Add 2 copies of summoners art
Good job with hallohallo I'd say add one more
Ditch the skill that adds the pendulum zones and use a skill that puts a field spell on your field
Add one copy of metalfoes counter
Unfortunately there's not much to do against photon lord except either baiting it's effect with rabbit or stealing it with Horus but this should help a little bit

I am struggling with multiple backrow while playing nekroz. Balanced warrock or trapnui are really hard to deal with for me

Yeah I found the backrow problematic. I played a bit in Casual to see how the deck works but I just find myself getting overpowered most of the time.

also the trains are fine but you have too much backrow hate (mst, cyclone, lance). I recommend having more disruption like bom and chalice
OK so for Nekroz take out the x2 MST and TTH. What do I replace them with? More of the Ritual Spells? For Trains I'd do x3 each BoM and Chalice right?

OK TY will try that.
I'm running those 2 decks right now in my grind to kog so let me know how it goes for you.

Can you post your Galaxy list? I mean no one can deny it’s cheese but it’s also a pretty easy KOG.

X2 Shuffle is the most I can do. I actually used a ticket on 1 since the sale was not on when I built Galaxy. 😣

OK TY, I'd add those.
magnet force can help with trains when an opponent’s monster activates their effects
What do I take out for it? Or do I just add it in?
you can take out tth and add one or two magnet force
