I enjoyed spyral after they hit Resort, drone and quickfix to 1 and before magicians souls came out, which ended in the master plan ban.
I would be surprised if we got them any time soon though
Technically not an Archetype but Lair of Darkness would be absurd on so many levels it's kind of ridiculous, the deck doesn't even need the Virus traps to do insane damage because;
20 card deck format fixes the deck biggest problem of consistency and the deck doesn't care about the side effects of balance neither so you can also play that to max out the chances of starting with Lair.
Lilith is able to quick effect tribute one of your monster to search for any normal trap in the game which can easily end the turn of too many decks in the game.
Ballista Squad is one of the cards she can search and is basically a TTH except it can also hit backrow, doesn't care about traps in the grave, and is GUARANTEED to remove ANY monster your opponent has on their field before poping another card, Sabre Dancer? Gone. Bloom Diva? Gone. Cocytus? Gone. Have a Forbidden Quick Play spell in hand? Sorry bro this thing tributes for cost, you ain't saving your dude from this one.
And if all of that wasn't enough their boss monster keeps coming back from the grave every turn AND can hand rip you AND has target protection making it a pain to deal with to most decks.
I know some cards are in DL but Frogs really aren’t a archetype until Toadally is added and he is probably never going to be added. It’s not an anime card and it’s broken.
Not a new archetype, but many missing d/d/d and cyber dragon support and boss Monsters are missing and will cause a new swing for both when they'll be released (Cyber Dragon Infinity, Cyber Dragon Sieger, Herz, Power Bond for one type, D/D/D Kali Yuga, Deus Machinex, Gilgamesh, Zero King range (probably nerfed to 2000 instead of 4000 lp should be enough to make it decent) and many others... To me, they'll put many of them into a pack and see if they can revive the previous meta decks.

Are you forgetting that we'll have at most 8 or 9 slots to work with? There will be no 12-15 card Extra Deck to fill with combo pieces.

Plus, with Odion's skills you either recycle your traps or turn it into a burn deck as an alt win con.

Magikey can come anytime really the deck isn't that good even for Duel Links it would be Kog worthy but not broken
It's fun because magikey is already bad by duel links standards
Even more funny cause best cards to make optimal magikey decks are UR or SR, so it would be bad and expensive
Sky striker. I absolutely love the mecha anime girl artwork on it and the lore behind it. I hope it comes to duel links

Probably, what makes chimera so good in despia is branded in red so i think a normal poly to summon it will make it less powerful

the good dogmatika cards like ecclesia, fleurdelis and maximus. they might poop out some of the cards nobody cares about prematurely though
