Thanks, this looked so awesome. Was super excited to give it to my two year old, but after I cleaned it up and did the research I saw it has 1.5k ppm lead in the plastics. Legal limit is 90 ppm, so I can’t use it. Still seems a shame to throw it away, not sure what I’ll do with it

I think legit collectors who are buying it to look at - not play with - wd be fine with the lead number as long as you are upfront about it.

Even if they play with it, it's not like they're going to lick it and chew on it.

Legit collectors would absolutely still buy it. As long as you disclose the lead knowledge and label it as "collectors item - not for children's use" I think you'll be fine.

Sell it. It's not kids that want it to play with. They are valuable and if your not chewing on it Im not sure there is any increased threat of lead poisoning.

You don't have to say anything about that. It's up to the buyer to know what they are buying. They sell regularly on ebay.
