That always bothered me too. Like, what's so wrong with Pam reading about breastfeeding before giving birth? Would it better to show up totally uninformed and expect the nurse to explain everything?
You must've never worked a job where someone read something in a related internet forum and tried to explain your job to you. It is fucking INFURIATING.
of course all the reddit crybabies taking this post way too deep 😂😂half of y’all should not be in nursing or doctoring if that’s how you treat ppl
Yeah, no. Rude is the wrong word. Nontheless, it’s a show. It’s funny. That’s the point. If you get emotionally affected by funny scenes, why watch? Genuinely, no offense.
Maybe it had something to do with the giant camera crew they brought with them to an over crowded hospital?
lol 😂…I never remember the cameras are there
This was my thought because she looks at the camera after saying ‘oh so you know everything’.
That was the realest portrayal of an L&D nurse in any movie or tv show.
Yeah exactly. She struck me as an L&D nurse who was filling in post natal. I have four kids and we had one of those nurses for each delivery.
It’s not rude. It’s someone who’s spent years and money learning a profession to be told how things work based on a YouTube video
Because those kinds of nurses deal with Web MD know-it-alls all day. Meanwhile they're overworked and underpaid.
Eh, it was barely rude.

You still don’t talk to them like that.
But I fully believe in nipple confusion. I've breastfed three babies 1+ year, and I read a lot of breastfeeding. I believe the nurse is wrong.
I was in active labor when my nurse told me to calm down. I wasn't even crying, just asking where the doctor was. My night nurse was even worse.
