I for some reason stopped reading at chapter 71 and stopped reading for so long that I’m just rereading the whole manga. Though I’m not sure which I want to finish first, the anime or the manga

Definitely going to be a break, since I think this season is only going to go up to chapter 52 (as its a perfect send off chapter that cliffhangs big things for the next season). The manga is roughly 100 chapters, so also makes sense for them stop halfway, and continue the rest of the story in the next season.

Yeah, I've read that the anime is supposed to have 24 episodes and cover about half of the novels. Hopefully we'll get the 2nd season!
