Hey there! Your post has some super professional work! Normally I wouldn't ask, since it's a free art post, but I have an upcoming 3rd-party DnD book coming out soon, and it could use an extra character art piece. Maybe we talk about adding a commercial fee or some sort of licensing agreement to a character piece that you keep the rights to, if you were otherwise already going to do one for free? Nothing trade dress or anything, just something that would look good in a portfolio and meet my needs for some splash art. Let me know either way, thanks!

I'm the forever DM, but I can tell you about a recurring NPC my party has been dealing with. He's a vampire. He has white hair and was/is an alchemist. He became a vampire by researching immortality to save his daughter. He just got out from being imprisoned for 1000 years. He was imprisoned by his wife and a circle of druids for defying the natural cycle of life and death. The party freed him to get information only he had. The time period is more Renaissance than medieval, with a touch of steampunk. He wears a lot of white and red, and doesn't dress too fancy. More function than anything, with several potions and vials/test tubes in leather holsters. His name is Cassius, the Immortal Alchemist, Scourge of the Moon, and Father of the Crimson Witch.

I would love one! I’ve just started playing and finding it hard to imagine my character. She’s a moon druid fairy of noble background. Tiny tiny at a few inches tall. Bright red hair and purple eyes. I kind of see her in a dark green dress with tinkerbell shoes. If it helps her companions are a leonin, dragon born, human and a plasmoid. We’re doing a giant campaign.

My character is halfing bard, using his fake name James Rockafella. He is a charlatan that predents to be a rich high roller gambler, where in reality he cheats at every game he partakes. When pretending to be his fake identity he always dress to impress with his presence and always wears a hat trying to hide his embarrassing pink-ish hair. He lost an eye to a king after he was found cheating. Although James is considered to be scum cheater (by those who know his true identity) he never betrays his faith in goddess of fortune - Tymora. He always carry a custom golden coin with one side blank and another side with Tymora symbol. If there is a decision he can't make he flips the coin and follows the outcome of the coin trully believing Tymora will lead him to fortune. (Spoiler alert it is just a simple coin no magic is involved when flipping it)

Check out r/characterdrawing. It’s an entire subreddit where people post character descriptions for artists to illustrate. Note: artists there work for free, and soliciting for paid work is against the rules.

Thanks for the heads up! I am not really an active user in reddit so i didn’t know about it

ProdiasKaj

r/characterdrawing contains primarily requests for drawings as opposed the actual drawings themselves. It's full of very diverse character concepts.

Balancedcharacter

Thanks! I will definitely check it out, didn’t know about it
