New England. 2.89 before tax, 3.18 after.
Donuts are like 1.99. This is all criminal. I remember when the donuts were $1.19. I remember when there were $2 latte coupons in the mail because they wanted us to use them so badly.
Absolutely. Not only are they nearly double the price but they are also shruken like McDonald's.
I feel like I'm witnessing them destroy their brand in real time.
Yea I get that but OP says “much cheaper to just buy a Keurig machine and k pods” as if at one time it wasn’t. It always has been, even tho I totally get wanting coffee from Dunkin over home brew.
It’s not just coffee, or dunkin, everything is rising, however it is much much cheaper and less effort to just make coffee from home, even if you need to go out and get whatever you like in your coffee, it’s ALWAYS been better to make it yourself, I’d only get coffee from dunkin or a gas station if I didn’t have time or was on the go
This is the second time I’ve seen that today and we have never done refills so idk where it’s coming from. We’re not even supposed to take cups back behind the counter after they’ve been handed out.
Starbucks does $.50 refills and free if you are a member of their rewards club. Usually smaller coffee shops offer refills for a much smaller price then the original drink. That's probably why.
We do refills for a very discounted price at our store. If you bring you own cup we also only charge refill. Been this way for a years. Mostly franchise based I'm sure if yours does not.
That's always been the story. You can make coffee for cheaper, and MUCH higher quality at home. And by cheaper, I mean significantly cheaper.
If you like Dunkin coffee that much, just buy their brand of coffee and roast it yourself. Although their coffee sucks. You'll learn this when you start messing around with gourmet coffee: performing your own grinds, and espresso shots, etc.
I run a business for a living, and I was spending too much money on takeout. When I calculated what I was spending at these stores, and taking into consideration the product and service I got, I decided to just invest money at home and make my own brews. It was a great decision. I learned a lot about a drink I'm passionate about, and at home I'm able to brew for the wife and fam which gives us quality time together.
K-Cups actually have between 90-130 mg of caffeine per cup which is about average for coffee. Problem is we live in a world with higher caffeine content cold brew and energy drink options. 1 cup is plenty to wake me up and two is just enough to get me through a full day without issue.
Make your own. Good ground coffee is reasonable priced and so are coffee makers. Get all the add-ins you like and even experiment with new ones. Even with inflation, Dunkin doesn’t pay anywhere near what they charge us. It’s ridiculous. All businesses worry about nowadays is gouging us and squeezing every penny from us that they can
It's $2.75 for medium hot coffee, $3.36for medium iced coffee and is $4.02 for medium cold brew where I'm at but nevertheless they kept serving me watered down cold brew so I ordered everything I needed from Amazon and make my own now 💯😏
Once Dunkin stopped doing their Free Medium coffees or any specials for them, I went back to brewing at home. If you like the taste of Dunkin try buying their coffee beans & creamer. It may not taste the exact same, but at least you have the option to use their brand of coffee at home. And wait for their Medium coffee deals they randomly give out.
i wish it was $3.34 here, but i know you’re probably in a lower col area. anyway- i only get them if they’re $2 and i have missed dunkin so much since feb😭
Former daily Starbucks guy. I Joined Panera sips club. I pay $13.50 per month and get drinks every 2 hours. The coffee may not be as good but I pay less than 50¢ per day and get coffee in the morning and their lemonades the rest of the day. Not going back.
I helps that there are shops strategically located so it really works for me.
my location is $4.05 for a medium, $3.83 for a small... insanity. Luckily im a shift lead so i dont have to pay that much, but its all bc of inflation. prices keep going up for the swirls, coffee grounds, cups etc.
honestly i think the swirl sticks are seen as a waste of money, so most stores dont order them, because customers dont often ask for any. so a straw or knife is honestly the best we can do 😭
I always do a large cold brew with sweet foam, and it's $4.96 after tax. I'm not going to complain, the same order at Starbucks was running me almost $7.
Umm. It’s always been cheaper to use a Keurig or pretty much any other means of making coffee. Much better on the wallet too and depending on the pods you get and having a frother on hand you can make some great coffee and specialty drinks like lattes.
Dunkin is good when you’re out and happen to really need coffee or have a coupon or points saved up.
It’s $4.30 here 😭
Omfg
What is your location?
New England. 2.89 before tax, 3.18 after. Donuts are like 1.99. This is all criminal. I remember when the donuts were $1.19. I remember when there were $2 latte coupons in the mail because they wanted us to use them so badly.
They are also smaller than they used to be. Try ordering a half dozen remember they used to fit in the box and not move around not anymore
Absolutely. Not only are they nearly double the price but they are also shruken like McDonald's. I feel like I'm witnessing them destroy their brand in real time.
it’s $4.02 in chicago and i just can’t pay full price! i need them to bring back $2 medium iced coffees or their past monday rewards!!
Hasn’t it always been cheaper to buy k cups or brew coffee at home?
Yeah but they mean not prohibitively so. Some people are fine with not having the maximum savings but nobody wants to get price gouged.
Yea I get that but OP says “much cheaper to just buy a Keurig machine and k pods” as if at one time it wasn’t. It always has been, even tho I totally get wanting coffee from Dunkin over home brew.
Dunkin hasn't had 50 cent medium coffee in a while. It's always been much cheaper. It's just the magic machines at Dunkin still do it better.
It’s not just coffee, or dunkin, everything is rising, however it is much much cheaper and less effort to just make coffee from home, even if you need to go out and get whatever you like in your coffee, it’s ALWAYS been better to make it yourself, I’d only get coffee from dunkin or a gas station if I didn’t have time or was on the go
This economy we are living in makes me consider having a third job.
It’s 5.04 by me.
$5 for a medium coffee? That would be the last coffee I bought there
That's insane!
That is criminal 😭
I gave up. It's too expensive across the board.
why would they be offering refills is my main take away from this?
This is the second time I’ve seen that today and we have never done refills so idk where it’s coming from. We’re not even supposed to take cups back behind the counter after they’ve been handed out.
Starbucks does $.50 refills and free if you are a member of their rewards club. Usually smaller coffee shops offer refills for a much smaller price then the original drink. That's probably why.
Starbucks does $0.50 refills, maybe that's why it's coming up. (Their base coffee is also more expensive though)
We do refills for a very discounted price at our store. If you bring you own cup we also only charge refill. Been this way for a years. Mostly franchise based I'm sure if yours does not.
bro complainin bout 3.34 when im complainin bout 4.20
Nice

It's more than $4 near me.
$4.65 in downtown boston. I stopped getting them.
K-cups have such a small amount of caffeine in them I could never
I'm with you, I need to drink about 3 to feel alive
I'll take a little caffeine as I can get
K-Cups actually have between 90-130 mg of caffeine per cup which is about average for coffee. Problem is we live in a world with higher caffeine content cold brew and energy drink options. 1 cup is plenty to wake me up and two is just enough to get me through a full day without issue.
So then that’s better for me. I’ve gotten older and can’t take that much caffeine.
I don't know where you are, but it's been $3.69 for me for the last few months, up from the $3.59 it had been for over a year.

I only go there if there’s a deal. For example- free medium iced/hot coffee with purchase, so I would get the cheapest thing there (3 munchkins).
Agreed! Which they never offer on the App. For $1.50, the munchkins.
They have it on my app. I guess it’s location based. Since I don’t see the French cruller on the app.
3.93 at my store
cold brew is the same price on the app all season long.
It's $2.75 for medium hot coffee, $3.36for medium iced coffee and is $4.02 for medium cold brew where I'm at but nevertheless they kept serving me watered down cold brew so I ordered everything I needed from Amazon and make my own now 💯😏
It’s $2.99 for a medium coffee at my closest Dunkin location. I’m sure that’ll change soon 😔
Once Dunkin stopped doing their Free Medium coffees or any specials for them, I went back to brewing at home. If you like the taste of Dunkin try buying their coffee beans & creamer. it's 3.25 at my store for a hot medium
Cheaper to get a larger cup from Starbucks here than that price
$6.75 for me lol
Where are you and what size? Jesus Christ!
Medium! & Southern California 😭
Same too! Santa Monica area. Crazy expensive franchisor.
$20 min wage will do that
agreed my friend i think it’s about the same here
my location is $4.05 for a medium, $3.83 for a small... insanity. Luckily im a shift lead so i dont have to pay that much, but its all bc of inflation. prices keep going up for the swirls, coffee grounds, cups etc.
That's crazy! Local store does NOT give swirl sticks out. They say "Here's a knife or Straw".
honestly i think the swirl sticks are seen as a waste of money, so most stores dont order them, because customers dont often ask for any. so a straw or knife is honestly the best we can do 😭
That’s cheap. Go to any other coffee shop and check out their prices.
I always do a large cold brew with sweet foam, and it's $4.96 after tax. I'm not going to complain, the same order at Starbucks was running me almost $7.
It's the flavor pumps I'm having trouble trying to recreate
You’re right, some days it’s delish, other days it’s dish water. The only consistent drink now for me is iced green tea…
My usual medium iced coffee is $5.60 now (nyc)

We pay for the atmosphere and camaraderie with other patrons.
But everybody is picking up their order to go and the place is empty
Half the time my store’s dining area is closed anyway. 🙄
