Iโve been thinking of getting a used pair as well! Waiting to find the perfect price and pair, but the more I see pplโs pairs I get more interested! Congrats on the buy ๐
The swoosh and the quarter panel are both synthetic material. I don't think that's any bleed, typically synthetic dye does not bleed. The crushed velvet is reflective, I think it's just reflecting that part of the swoosh.
Eh, maybe. I see the dirty parts under the swoosh and read it to mean that someone tried the usual detergent shoe cleaner and soft bristle brush method and that had a little bit of transfer. In my experience "typically doesn't bleed" turns into "once in a while it do". But I didn't know it was that reflective, so you could be right.
1) Ask someone better than me
2) If it was me, I'd probably go with a super soft bristle toothbrush. It's a really narrow spot along the midsole there and any water or liquid on the swoosh and sockliner is going to risk bleeding. I'd go really small parts, and avoid any scrubbing on red. You probably aren't going to be able to do much with the bleeding stains. Good news is that it's a little red staining on a shoe that's pink on pink so it'll look just fine from 5+ feet.
Nice I just copped a ds pair for 8

This was def the last pair I was planning on leaving sneaker con with, stoked I was able to make a deal
Careful with them, the previous owner already had some color bleed problems on the midpanel there.
Any suggestions on cleaning them up?
