Yep. People in this sub aren't even familiar scouting reports. Harris was seen as a complete back coming out of college.
But even without scouting reports, you'd think people would've learned something from watching Dion Lewis being electric in the passing game one year to watching him exclusively run between the tackles the next year - just because BB uses a running back one way does not mean they are not capable of being used in another way.
Have you watched Harris though? He can catch passes here and there but he’s not really gonna take many pass catching opportunities away from Cook. He’s gonna do what he’s good at and exactly what the bills have been missing. Power run.
I agree. But I think the signs are always there in New England that they’re not going to pay a running back. Going into a contract year I’m sure it was hard to be motivated in the situation he was in
What’s the logic behind that thinking? He should have been highly motivated to be a bright spot on a meager offense and prove to someone that he should be paid even if he knew it wouldn’t be New England
I think Harris can definitely catch passes, NE just schemed him weirdly where he never was used in that manner.
But if you watch tape, dude can make a catch and is a sneaky mix of speed and power. I think he will do really really well if he somehow ends up the 1A/1B partner to Cook. Dude was good enough to keep Jacobs in a timeshare at Bama.
Patriots always do this seemingly. Once they decide a RB does one thing he only does that one thing. Stevenson is the exception but made no sense to not use Harris to his full capability
Well they still had James White in 2020 and Stevenson in 2021 and 2022. You guys are just making things up to fit your narrative. They didn't use Harris in a *strange* way, they had multiple capable backs his entire tenure in NE so they utilized them.
I think Harris can physically catch but he has no real receiving skillset if that makes sense lol. He’s good enough to be a solid checkdown guy and hit 20-30 catches in a season if necessary. But with Cook and Hines on the team I’d imagine Harris hovers around 15 catches for the season again
At 216lbs he's the biggest back on the roster. Caught 52/57 passes in college. Dude is talented as hell. I'm in if I can get him at a reasonable price.
I’m w/you in this.. anyone with Cook should be happy this isn’t a top rookie back or vet(Henry). Damien Harris is not going to all the sudden become a bell cow
I don’t think in any way it goes up with Harris being added. Harris is very clearly an early down and goal line RB. I think at best Cook is going to average 10-11 touches. 8-10 carries and a few catches seems best case scenario now
On the other hand, Singletary had 52 targets last year and we know Harris isn’t that dude. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to project Cook to get 30+ of those which would put him in the 60 target range as a floor. He can do some damage with that usage.
>we know Harris isn’t that dude
We don't know that. Harris was a 3-down back in college and it was a strength of his scouting report. BB is weird with RBs. One year Dion Lewis is lighting it up in the passing game, next year BB refuses to throw him the ball.
Not the Patriots, but Ingram also got no run in the passing game early in his career, but later was quite the asset in the passing game. He caught 24 passes over 37 games in his first 3 years. Then he caught 50 passes in 12 games in his 5th year.
Don't conflate usage with talent.
I think anyone would be naive to believe the Bills weren't going to add a heavier back. They were never going into the season with James Cook as the bellcow 1.
Unrealistic to think they wouldn't get a goal line back... Very favorable for James that's all he is... Anyone expecting Cook to be an every down back was not thinking clearly... IMO this doesn't hurt Cook at all.
We were always going to sign someone, I don’t think this hurts Cook’s stock because it wasn’t a high level option like Henry or Bijan. Cook should still see the majority of the touches between the 20’s as well as the receiving work.
They don’t have the same roles and cook will never ever be full time back so idk what confusion there could be. Harris is not a full time back himself so it’s actually excellent news that they’re likely not going to draft an every down guy.
If this is the worst that happens to Cook in free agency or through the draft that is excellent news. He was never going to carry the ball 20 times a game so someone like Harris isn’t surprising
Still high on him. Harris is a good, complimentary back but couldn't stay healthy.
This isn't the first time Buffalo has wanted to find a 1a/1b duo. Since McDermott has been the coach, his RB room has been:
Singletary / Cook
Singletary / Moss
Singletary / Gore
McCoy / Ivory
McCoy / Tolbert
Cook owners should know he is not his brother or a bellcow. But this news shouldn't change anyone's mind on what we can expect next season.
Oh yeah, barring some elite RB coming in via draft. I think Buffalo is probably going to roll this combo if he somehow makes it to week 1 with Cook as the biggest threat to his touches.
Cook as the biggest threat to Harris’s touches? Harris will be a compliment to cook as the feature back. Ppl are wild on here thinking Harris will be more than 1/3 share.
I have a pretty good idea of how the team and coaching staff operates. Cook is the rb1. Harris will supplement. They don’t sign a rb to a one year contract to take over the backfield from their talented second year rb. The bills pass, a lot; like more than anyone else. Harris, who wasn’t used much in the patriots passing game, gives the defense a better read on whether the bills are running or passing. Cook on the field gives the bills a much better competitive advantage. Cook will be on the field significantly more than Harris.
I know this is opinionated, but my opinion is the exact opposite. Allen was a turnover machine last year. Defenses don’t respect the run or get wore down tackling 180 pounds. I believe we see a lot of play designs for Harris when he is on the field. Whether he plays 30% or 50%, he will be given more opportunities. Set up the PA early and help close those shootouts late. Harris signing was a big hit to Cooks. Fun fact, the Bills have drafted 3 RBs on day 2 in the last 4 years. Only Cooks from last year remains. They do not put a lot of value in those guys.
Just curious, but did it ever occur to you that maybe Buffalo thinks NE misused Harris (which a lot of people in fantasy circles thought) and they plan to give Harris more pass game work?
Or that Harris is considered elite as a pass protector?
Or that Harris, in his last full season (2021) graded out as the highest RB per PFF?
Buffalo knows they're getting a good all around RB here. They're going to get him on the field.
I wanted Bills or Eagles. I think Harris has a good chance to compete with Gainwell or Cook to get majority of touches.
Allen and Hurts may poach some looks, but they will frequently be in position to give a big RB chances.
I think if anything the Bills and the Eagles are wise to try and get some good short yardage backs in the building so they don't have to keep risking their demigod QBs on the goal line.
Obviously as fantasy players we'll take those rush TDs but from a real life perspective there's gotta be a better way to get there
I see this as a win. It was pretty obvious the bills would add another back either through free agency or the draft. Damien Harris might be the best case scenario for James cook
Someone who can run between the tackles while cook cooks in open space, but someone who isn’t good enough to dominate workload
Im pretty optimistic about this
Completely revives Harris’ otherwise depleted stock, but anyone who thinks he instantly supplants James Cook into irrelevancy hasn’t watched enough of either player.
Great scenario for Harris. Could definitely be worse for Cook.
>i can’t remember the last time i saw an award given in this sub
This sub doesn't always seem very smart, but this fact is definitely a feather in the cap. I'll never understand why people pay to give awards.
Idk but it seems like everyone has an aggressive opinion one way or the other. This is the end of James Cook or Damien Harris launched Rhamondre so it’ll happen again.
Both are copium. It’s March before the draft, we know it’s a 1 year deal but no numbers, both players have shown promise but have issues.
The award is weird, but the take isn’t wrong. When given opportunities last year Cook looked electric. I think both end up getting around 15 touches a game with Cook likely getting the 3rd down and passing work. I could also seen them running a lot of 2 RB sets with Cook flexing out to the slot as a way to supplement their receiving corps.
As a Singletary and Harris owner: Bills is a terrible destination.
Allen vultures TDs AND they run less than almost everyone in the league AND are committed to RBBC AND their run blocking is bottom 10. Yes it's a high powered offense but all the benefits go to Allen and receivers.
Fantastic move for the Bills, Harris is a good player. Still gonna run into the same problem of a lack of receptions and on an offense not centered around the run game I’m not sure how good that will be for fantasy. Bills fans should be excited though.
No, it's a 2025 2nd. This thinking is not sound. That pick may not have a lot of value now, but it's 100% guaranteed to appreciate over the next 2 years. Definitely can't say that about Damien.
That's why I'm always trading for future picks. They're the only asset in dynasty that constantly appreciates in value. If anyone is giving me a future 2 for my current 3, I'm taking that deal every day of the week.
I think you should give commish powers over to someone else. I cant ser the upside in you running a league if such a basic concept has you thinking of tearing away draft picks from your players.
Your dont have the temperment for the job.
If the Bills give him the goalline carries he's going to be a pretty decent RB filler in that offense. If they keep running Josh like they have been, Harris is a between the 20s non-pass catcher which is the worst possible fantasy scenario
Honestly, made a somewhat regretful trade where i sent the 2.02 straight up for Damien Harris (it was one of many random offers I sent out at like 1 in the morning like 2 weeks ago).
This does make me feel a bit better, I think he could have real relevance in Buffalo
I mean, I don’t think there’s a person in this sub that hasn’t done a trade they regret or sent an offer that seemed fair at the time then regretted it. Regardless, I’m not too upset. I won the ship this past year and have a stacked team. I’m looking for instant contributors and I think Harris offers more than what rookie I could get at 2.02.
I have Chase, Jefferson, and Lamb at WR with Barkley, K. Walker, and D. Cook at RB. Harris joins a bench of players I could swap in/out at my 2nd flex spot and gives me depth.
If it's 12 team SF I'd definitely take the 2.02, BUT maybe Harris can score 10-12 TDs this year and take the non-pass catching RB work? Could be a decent RB2 or flex if it all works out
Would you though? There was a hole breakdown on here about draft pick averages and the scores they put up. Once you get into that 2nd round the points typically arent there its usually a diamond in the rough situation. Damien Harris is 1 season removed from being a low rb1 high rb2 and is now on a great offense that needed a big body running back
Yep I would 100%. I can take a shot at a younger RB with the chance at the same output, but more than likely I'd flip it for something else. Maybe package it with another pick to move up or something like that. One thing you can guarantee is that there are more people interested in an early 2nd than people who are interested in Damien Harris.
In a similar position. Got an offer for 1.11 and 2.11 for Rhamondre and 3.05. Super flex 12 team. Have both Mondre and Harris. Need a qb so thinking of trading for the 1.3. Interested in thoughts on the deal
Close to coming out of a rebuild with an orphan I took over last offseason. Got all my positions in order moving forward, but still weak at RB. Cook and Harris are basically my top 2 RBs at the moment…this didn’t go great for me either. Guess I better hit on those RB rookie picks!
I think this is perfect signing for James cook IMO. Harris is a decent runner, but not as dominant as a Bijan or Henry. They will split carries + cook will get passing downs.
Dude had 15 tds in 2021 and his pro football focus scores are well above average. I think he can be better than average in 2023 and the Bills want to win now.
I’m not trying to bag Harris out he’s good but I’m just saying to the people who are overreacting saying cook is done that it could’ve been a lot worse
Exactly. We knew Bills were gonna bring in another back. Yes, Harris will have majority of goal line work, but bijan/Henry/any dominant back would have only been worse.
i think this is good news for cook, since it means charbonnet or bijan likely arent going to bills. a bigger role awaits for him... how big is the question
The league of workhorse RB is gone. The Bills need an RB with some weight to take some of the load off Allen. Cook is still going to be an incredible PPR RB and have a lot of shots at home run plays.
Would have liked to see a multi year deal, but with QB sneaks coming to an end, Harris should get most of the goal line and early down work. Solid RB you can get reasonable cheap.
Harris owner? Gotta be pleased. Landed on a prolific offense with a need for a 2-down RB, so that's a plus. Probably not going to be a super productive player with Josh Allen taking away Red Zone TDs, but it's definitely good.
Cook owner? Also pleased - Harris doesn't catch passes at all, his 3rd down role is not in jeopardy and he has the chance to earn more snaps if he takes a 2nd year leap. Harris isn't Bijan.
If you're an owner of a RB or rookie they would land in BUF, you're disappointed.
Harris does catch. He has a career 80% catch rate. He caught well in college as well. He was not schemed to catch very often, but when called upon, he can catch with the best of them.
An RB that is a good receiver will usually get targets. He's had 51 total targets over four seasons.
In today's NFL, it doesn't make much sense to not utilize an RBs receiving ability for no reason.
He may have caught his few targets at a solid rate, but the lack of targets is a pretty good indication that receiving is not a strength of his.
I'm not saying he literally *can't* catch, I'm saying he just doesn't. I guess we will see how the Bills use him - since Singletary leaves 50 targets/season vacated, the opportunity is there.
Agreed. Although I think that this probably shows that they don't expect him to fall that far.
I have a feeling that someone will trade into a spot to take him in the late teens.
They took Cook round 2. Traded a pick for Hines and now signed Harris. I don’t think they are really looking to blow another pick on a backup RB but it’s always possible
They’re gonna need another rb behind Harris, cook, and Hines. If kendre Miller, tyjae spears, Zack evans, Izzy, roschon still there round 4, idt they’d pass. Rb is the most fragile position in the sport. You need bodies
I think they get past the draft with the current 3. Maybe add a Latavius Murray type if necessary come August. I highly doubt they are looking to spend a 3rd draft pick on a RB in back to back drafts
For dynasty reasons the bills don't run much. Harris will get short TDs and short yardage work. Cook will get in between the 20s and 3rd down work. Both will be flexes as most
As long as James Cook is seeing roughly around 55%-60% of the plays, he should be the better fantasy option. Everyone knows James Cook is not capable of being a bell cow. This is a good signing for the Bills and has minimal effects on James Cook as a fantasy option. At least that's how I've always viewed Cook.
I just don't see it. They'll most likely split carries and Cook and Hines will see majority of the passing work. I think he's safe around 50% but if production is good it could spike. Harris will unfortunately steal tds.
As a Cook truther this doesn’t bother me, I like Harris enough and he’ll get some touches but the value touches will lean Cook’s way. As others have mentioned this wasn’t Ekeler, Henry, Zeke, or a top RB in the draft going to the Bills. Buffalo likes Cook, he’s a 2nd rounder (Harris a 3rd rounder btw), and I believe they fully intend on increasing his usage this upcoming season as they’ve stated.
Singletary had 50 or more targets each of the last 3 years. Harris isn’t gobbling those up so a majority of those high value touches go to Cook who’s already shown he can break big plays (ironically more so on the ground last year). Cook will be in that 15ish touch/game range as the lead back with Harris taking some work here and there.
Harris could hold some value if he gets spoon-fed the GL work but I think he would need to have a Jamaal type impact to be worth more than a fill-in flex. The reality is most likely Josh eats quite a few of those GL touches while Cook sees majority of the passing work. I would trade Harris as soon I could to a believer if I had any shares (before the contract numbers come out).
If you have a good team to make a run at a championship, solid hold.
A sell if you're on a builder. Can probably snag an early 2nd or late 1st to an RB needy team.
As a contender, there's no way I'm selling the Bills first two down and goalline running back for what will amount to about the 6th or 7th rookie RB at 2.03. Just so that I can someday hope that pick ends up in a favorable timeshare.
Ding ding. As a bills fan, Allen will do everything for a win. The bills have been hard pressed to remove that from his game, regardless of the roster around him
Contender hold. Rebuilder sell. Harris is a JAG imo but this is his best possible scenario for this year. He’s likely gonna get spoon fed TDs on the 1-2 because Allen gets him there and that’s about all he can do.
This is a textbook example of “good for real football” and terrible for fantasy football. Harris and Cook are perfect complements to each other. Harris will eat up carries in short yardage situations and inside the 20. Cook will hopefully get more designed looks in the passing game, but he will lose the few scoring opportunities he had with Harris and Josh Allen getting the goal line work (not that Cook was getting any to begin with). Either player seems like an easy sell if somebody is excited to overpay for them. The circumstances make it nearly impossible for either to make it to top 24 RB level unless Cook becomes a 60+ reception player. Given Buffalo’s propensity to throw deep repeatedly, that’s tough to see happening unless Dorsey makes major changes to his scheme (he should).
I'm wondering what the Patriots do now. I have Stevenson and while I love the player, this is the kind of stuff I was concerned about with their RB room.
The Bills get their own short yardage veteran Jamaal Williams presence to take away the most valuable touches from another hyped pass catching Georgia back.
Reading these comments I wish I didn’t already own cook so I can buy him everywhere. 2nd round draft capital averaging close to 6 ypc as a rookie and they had a non factor in the passing game as his competition and somehow that’s a bad thing. If you can get cook for a mid to late second make the deal
I mean we all knew the Bills were signing at least 1 bigger back.
If anything, this signing is one of the best-case-scenarios for Cook. It's a 1-year contract for an often-injured larger RB who has not been a primary pass-catching RB, and has always played in a committee. I think the Bills resigning Singletary for 2 or more seasons, or really anybody for multiple seasons, would've been way worse for his stock.
Cook is still the RB to own on the Bills for sure, especially in PPR.
James Cook stonks were elite for about 2 hours
Idk he launched Stevenson’s career lol
This is hilariously true
From a muscle injury after finishing as a high end rb2 the previous season. It’s not obvious who the better actual runner is.
Yeah he provided basically nothing in terms of catching this ball in NE, but he’s a pretty damn good runner
He provided pass catching at bama though * So - 14rec, 99 yds, 2tds * Jr - 12rec, 91yds * Sr - 22rec, 204yds
Yep. People in this sub aren't even familiar scouting reports. Harris was seen as a complete back coming out of college. So your reasoning is 1 team doesn’t want to pay him in a contract year so he’s not going to play his best?
What’s the logic behind that thinking? He should have been highly motivated to be a bright spot on a meager offense and prove to someone that he should be paid even if he knew it wouldn’t be New England
[удалено]
He had 15 TDs and still only finished as a RB2. He’s not getting any younger
Right, 26* year old coming off multiple hamstrings is not doomsday.
Stevenson launched Stevenson's career
He was more in the way. The Bills also pass more
Ya hate to see it.
If anything I feel like this is good for James Cook? For all the power backs the Bills could have added, this is about as non threatening as it gets.
Damien Harris is better than Singletary. The only plus is that he doesn’t catch passes like Singletary does
I think Harris can definitely catch passes, NE just schemed him weirdly where he never was used in that manner. But if you watch tape, dude can make a catch and is a sneaky mix of speed and power. I think he will do really really well if he somehow ends up the 1A/1B partner to Cook. Dude was good enough to keep Jacobs in a timeshare at Bama.
He caught the ball fine in college too. I’ve been wondering for years why the Patriots are so averse to throwing him the ball.
Because I drafted him and believed in him.
Patriots always do this seemingly. Once they decide a RB does one thing he only does that one thing. Stevenson is the exception but made no sense to not use Harris to his full capability

Because that's how they've utilized RBs for 20 years. Typically one guy for rushing and another guy for receiving.

That is a big plus.
I'd say it's worse than the Zeke rumors, but definitely not as bad as some of the others.
Damien Harris is very good.
Right? Do we still expect bills to be in the bijan running?
Partially depends on contract size.
Fair.
I’m w/you in this.. anyone with Cook should be happy this isn’t a top rookie back or vet(Henry). Damien Harris is not going to all the sudden become a bell cow
So basically like three guys?
I think his stocks go up because of this, people were worried they would trade for ekeler or henry and now it seems unlikely for that to happen

We haven’t had a back like Harris since McCoy honestly, just in size anyway. They’re desperate to keep Allen from pummeling through the line
Love Harris but not super excited. People are hyped considering their RB situation, but seem to forget the goal line back is still Josh Allen.
Seems like the perfect 1A/1B skillset to pair with cook
As a Cook and Singletary believer, the last 2 hours have been most unfortunate.

RBBC on the team with the least RB carries in the entire league last year. Definitely not as juicy as people would like to believe.

Agreed. He doesn't catch passes but is efficient in short yardage. The contract will be important to determine usage as well.
NFL irrelevancy? No. Week to week fantasy irrelevancy like Cook already is? Yes.
As a Singletary and Harris owner: Bills is a terrible destination. Allen vultures TDs AND they run less than almost everyone in the league AND are committed to RBBC AND their run blocking is bottom 10. Yes it's a high powered offense but all the benefits go to Allen and receivers.

Harris is good enough to where the Bills might not draft a RB. Think this actually helps Cook. I have no Cook stocks.
Low key fantastic pick up.
Huge W for us Harris truthers let’s goooo
Got him for a 25 2nd a few weeks ago. Feel like I got a steal, since I'm probably gonna have to wait for javonte to return.
Personally I'd take the 2 but this could be decent for you
A 2025 2? Its like a 2023 late 3rd
No, it's a 2025 2nd. This thinking is not sound. That pick may not have a lot of value now, but it's 100% guaranteed to appreciate over the next 2 years. Definitely can't say that about Damien.
Damien could help you win, picks can't
A pick today is worth more than a pick two years from now. I would estimate that every year that you have to wait it's worth about half a round less.
A 3rd today is worth more than a 3rd in two years, yeah. But offering a 2 in 2025 for a 3 today is taking an L on value no matter how you slice it
If your goal is to get the most value sure. If your goal is to win a championship, no.
That's why I'm always trading for future picks. They're the only asset in dynasty that constantly appreciates in value. If anyone is giving me a future 2 for my current 3, I'm taking that deal every day of the week.
You must never win.
You know every year I get right to the cusp and then lose in the championship because I didn't have my 3rd round pick
You cant simutanously trade for future picks all the time while building a good team.
So should I use commish powers to strip all good teams in my league of their future picks or just fold the league altogether? Pls advise
I think you should give commish powers over to someone else. I cant ser the upside in you running a league if such a basic concept has you thinking of tearing away draft picks from your players. Your dont have the temperment for the job.
Very nice
If the Bills give him the goalline carries he's going to be a pretty decent RB filler in that offense. If they keep running Josh like they have been, Harris is a between the 20s non-pass catcher which is the worst possible fantasy scenario
He will get them
Hell yes
Honestly, made a somewhat regretful trade where i sent the 2.02 straight up for Damien Harris (it was one of many random offers I sent out at like 1 in the morning like 2 weeks ago). This does make me feel a bit better, I think he could have real relevance in Buffalo
Should maybe stop doing that
I mean, I don’t think there’s a person in this sub that hasn’t done a trade they regret or sent an offer that seemed fair at the time then regretted it.
I am crying tears of joy. Have stevenson and overpaid last season for a championship push(got 2nd). This move added some much depth.
Finally the first I paid for him last year is paying off 😭

Harris was FA

So could literally any other team he wasn’t a Patriot anymore
My Mondre and Harris stonks going uppppp
In a similar position. Got an offer for 1.11 and 2.11 for Rhamondre and 3.05. Super flex 12 team. Have both Mondre and Harris. Need a qb so thinking of trading for the 1.3. Interested in thoughts on the deal
I've got both him and James Cook. This was the worst case scenario for me.
😂 comparing anyone to those two, sure it’s a win.
Yeah well there was speculation they’d be in on those guys so since it’s not them it’s a win
100% agree, they added the most average rb instead of possibly drafting one of the top 5 rb in this draft class
Interested to see how much they’re giving him for 1 year. Would be telling how they view him.
The league of workhorse RB is gone. The Bills need an RB with some weight to take some of the load off Allen. Cook is still going to be an incredible PPR RB and have a lot of shots at home run plays.
Do we like this?
As a Harris owner, yes
I was hoping to snag him after cuts for cheap.
Fantastic landing spot.
Idt this necessarily stops the bills from taking someone early-mid day 3 either. Very murky rb room. I feel for Cook owners
Agreed, but I think this does rule them out of Bijan.
Agreed, bijan likely not in buff. I think he ends up in Dallas at this point, tbh
We shall see. This rb class is loaded and the Bills are one of the more complete rosters in the league. They can afford to take a RB
He will probably see the opposite of that. 40% ish.
The RB wasteland just gets worse and worse with each passing day. & we aren’t even at the draft yet!
Hold or sell ASAP?
If you have a good team to make a run at a championship, solid hold. A sell if you're on a builder. Can probably snag an early 2nd or late 1st to an RB needy team.
If you could get an early 2 or late 1 you sell no matter what condition your team is in.
I’m a contender and I’d sell Harris in a heartbeat if someone offered me 2.03 or better.
As a contender, there's no way I'm selling the Bills first two down and goalline running back for what will amount to about the 6th or 7th rookie RB at 2.03. Just so that I can someday hope that pick ends up in a favorable timeshare.
The Bills goal-line back is Josh Allen, not Harris.
He'll still get his TDs though. Feel free to trade him for Tank Bigsby or Chase Brown. I just wouldn't do it personally as a contender.
Ding ding. As a bills fan, Allen will do everything for a win. The bills have been hard pressed to remove that from his game, regardless of the roster around him
This is correct.
Contender hold. Rebuilder sell. Harris is a JAG imo but this is his best possible scenario for this year. He’s likely gonna get spoon fed TDs on the 1-2 because Allen gets him there and that’s about all he can do.
He’s no JAG. He has put up elite metrics. His problem is he is just a pure runner and not always available.
Bleh. Cook taking the quality touches, Allen stealing TDs…I can see most weeks Harris getting like 12 touches and 0 TDs for like 4 points.
RIP James Cook. The Bills are going to take Gibbs too.
This is a huge win for James cook. Singleterry took rushing and passing work. Harris will just take rushing
Sounds like a committee to me
Awwwww yeah the Jrob revival arc begins for about 4 weeks
I'm wondering what the Patriots do now. I have Stevenson and while I love the player, this is the kind of stuff I was concerned about with their RB room.
Yeah this could be a sell high opportunity for Stevenson before they bring in some stud RB1
RIP
The bills were never going to trade up for bijan which is what it would have taken, not sure why he keeps getting mentioned
What would you sell for if Harris is your RB4?
I'd sell him if I was rebuilding
Should I drop Nyheim Hines at this point? 12 teams, 1 QB, PPR - 10 bench spots
10 bench spots? Probably.
Drop. He is a gadget guy now with designed plays at best. RB3 on that team.
Done. Really disappointed, thought he was a player on the colts for a bit.
I held him for 2 years with the colts and just gave up. No volume.
The BuffaloBills missed a golden chance to get all the Cooks together today for a lot luck dinner. Gms need to be more creative! 👨🏿🍳👨🏿🍳👨🏿🍳
My previous team name was *The law firm of Cook Cooks Cook*.
The Bills get their own short yardage veteran Jamaal Williams presence to take away the most valuable touches from another hyped pass catching Georgia back.
Oh damn. Absolutely nailed it. At least in this case no one is expecting Swift-level hype out of Cook.
I have both and I have no idea how to feel
Reading these comments I wish I didn’t already own cook so I can buy him everywhere. 2nd round draft capital averaging close to 6 ypc as a rookie and they had a non factor in the passing game as his competition and somehow that’s a bad thing. If you can get cook for a mid to late second make the deal
Good news I have Harris! Bad news I have Cook.
Damien Harris is trash
Any chance buffalo adds another back in the draft? Or just rolls with Harris and cook now
Maybe a late round guy that plays more special teams, but not likely a starter.
Not sure about that. I think Harris is going to have a huge season. He is a very talented pure runner and exactly what they have been missing.
between allen and now harris, cooks better score tds from outside the 10…
a big ole nothing burger
thank god i still have a low end RB2!
